An Unforgettable East African Journey with Camptrek!
We’re just back from a multi-destination trip through Amboseli, the Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, topped off with a few days on the beach in Zanzibar. With so many moving parts, flights, and transfers across two countries, we were worried about logistics, but Camptrek made the whole thing feel totally effortless.
Rose planned everything for us, and her communication was spot-on from day one. She was always quick to reply, super organized, and made sure every single detail was sorted before we left. Once we landed, our guides—Eric, Ben, and Jackson took over and were brilliant throughout. They knew the parks inside out, spotted wildlife we’d have completely missed on our own, and kept long drive days relaxed and easy. Couldn't have asked for a better team to show us around Kenya and Tanzania.

The Right Guide Makes All the Difference — We Were Lucky to Have John! 🤗
Knowing that one of the factors that can really make or break a safari is your guide, we feel incredibly lucky to have had John as ours. From Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha and finally the Masai Mara, he made the entire experience unforgettable.
What stood out to us most was not only his knowledge of Kenya and its wildlife, but the way he understood animal behaviour and patiently took the time to give us the best possible experience. His experience really showed, especially when it came to finding wildlife and deciding where to go and when to wait. We were fortunate enough to see so many incredible animals, including the Big Five and the Ugly Five, with some amazing sightings that we will never forget.
But what made John special to us went beyond his knowledge as a guide. Our long drives between the reserves never felt like just travelling from one place to another. They were filled with stories, conversations, laughter, and interesting things we learned about Kenya and its wildlife. John was always kind, thoughtful, and genuinely concerned about whether we were enjoying ourselves and were comfortable. You could feel that he wasn't simply taking us around the parks — he genuinely cared about making the experience memorable for us.
This was our first safari, and John has honestly set the bar very high for us. We are incredibly grateful that we had the chance to experience Kenya with him as our guide. It was an emotional and unforgettable experience for both of us, and we will always remember the time we spent in Kenya and the wonderful memories we made with John. ❤️🇰🇪🐃🦒🦓🐆🐘🦁🦏

Our fantastic adventure with Compass Odyssey was remarkable.
Everything worked impeccably with Mortimer the perfect charming, helpful and reliable host.
The exclusive Toms Little Hide in Hwange National Park was simply fabulous - amazing accommodation, super food and delightful staff. Our guide Brendan was a star - and so knowledgeable- we saw just about everything possible to see!.
Chobe was another great experience- we saw a leopard out in the open and elephants swimming the river as well as much more.

Great for seeing the Big 5 .
Our driver Anton was superb. We had the four day safari and saw them all plus more .His knowledge of the animals and the area were fantastic. Great value safari , we did the campsite option and this was a brilliant aspect to the safari bringing it all together for the feeling of africa and seeing the game parks . Thankyou for a wonderful time . We will definitely recommend Suricata safaris with Anton our driver and james the chef .

Superb Safari led by an even better guide
This has always been an ambition to go on safari and it has certainly been superb. From the moment we were picked up and welcomed by our guide ANTON it has been very memorable.
We saw the so called BIG 5 across 3 days with many other animals thrown in.Anton was always well presented, polite and very very helpful and knowledgeable.
He went above and beyond for our group of 6 and was a great pleasure to have him as our guide. Nothing was too much for him and he is a massive credit to your Suricata safari company.
I would personally recommend your company and anyone to ask for Anton to be there guide.

Great
Our Kenya safari was fantastic, and our guide Stanley made it unforgettable! He has an amazing talent for finding wildlife and great knowledge of animals and local culture. Stanley was safe, patient and thoughtful, and we managed to see the Big Five. Strongly recommended for anyone planning a safari in Kenya.
