A fabulous adventure
We had a wonderful experience during our short trip to Rwanda and Uganda.
Our trip leader Bruce was excellent, right from the start he was waiting for us at the airport and spent the rest of our trip making sure we had an enjoyable experience. His knowledge of both countries was great, he was a safe driver over the many hours of travel we had and just overall a lovely person.
The itinerary was good however further information on expenses would be useful eg. Tipping information/standard costs for gorilla tour guide, trackers and porters etc. I would recommend doing some research before arriving, we were not expecting and hadn’t planned to tip trackers in the middle of the Bwindi national park.
Accommodation was good, clean and meals to a high quality. We especially loved the stay at Bweza before our gorilla trek.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this company to friends and family.

Fantastic
Everything was exceelent. The hotels, the lodges, the transfers and the most important of all: our guide and driver: Nicodamus. A very nice man witk a great deal of experience. It is unbeliveble how he knows the way in the parks. He tells a lot about the wildlife, the environment and living in Tanzania. Thanks to him we had a wunderfull trip!

Amazing arrangement
Everything was great, the driver was picking me and my mom up very on time to the office and everything went so smoothly. We have been with Geeman, our tour guide, for four days, and we had a great time in the jungle by seeing all the beautiful lives thanks by Geeman’s efforts! Camping was fun, and all the stuffs are so nice! Everything is perfect!!

Very reliable, caring and safe.
We booked the 6-day Kenyan Premier Safari and it was amazing! Our Guide Harun was liable, overly punctual and cared about our safety outside and inside the national parks. We saw more animals that we coould imagine and even the big 5. Our highlights were the baby lions and the big elephant herds crossing the streets.
The accomandations were all nice and cozy but the second one (Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge) took our breath away!
We would recommend the tour operator, the accomandations and also all three parks (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli).

No regrets booking with Balu Travel
We had Benson as our guide for three days in the Maasai Mara and had a great experience. It’s a real plus that he is from the Maasai Mara and knows the area and so many people. He knows the animals very well, gives us a lot of information about them, and sometimes we were the first to spot wildlife. He didn’t even have a spotter or telescope with him, but it seemed like he had telescopic eyes!
He is an excellent driver both on and off road, always kind and friendly, and we always felt safe with him.
Even after long hours of driving, Benson always gave his best to make our safari special. Thank you, Benson, for three wonderful days!
Incredible experience
Highly recommend this tour service and Raymond in particular as tour guide- he was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us an all- day tour so that we could see the morning herd as well as the sunset herd. 10/10 have been thinking about this experience for the past two years and am forever thankful to Raymond for this incredible experience

Lion King brought to life
We had an amazing time back in Kruger after a number of years. We had the great fortune of working with Wayne to get us there from Australia (via Cape Town). He was efficient, responsive and helpful, sorting out our need for an off-book flight schedule. Two of our group had never been before, both avid photographers and let's say that they came home with more shots than you would need in a lifetime! Kapama was a dream-the staff, the lodge, the spa, and of course the wildlife-all a delight. Leopard spotting twice, the big five plus wild dogs, wild cats and more! Just wish it was longer!! Hoping to go back soon.
