Choosing Journeymark and Davis as our guide was the best decision of our entire trip. He was far far more than just a guide—his warm, joyful personality made him feel like true family to us. Thanks to his sharp eye for wildlife and skilled driving, we always arrived first at the most incredible sights and safely covered long distances. He tailored every moment to what we wanted, making our 4-day, 3-night safari completely seamless and comfortable. We saw the entire Big Five and had rare experiences that money simply cannot buy. Singing Kenyan songs and dancing together with him became an unforgettable highlight of our lives. On top of that, he took stunning photos of us throughout the journey. Davis made our honeymoon an absolute dream, and we are already planning to return to the Masai Mara in five years to tour with him again. If you are planning a safari, I cannot recommend Davis enough—he is truly the best!!!!

In March 2026, we were a group of 23 people from the USA visiting Uganda for a project. After completing our work, we wanted to take a short break, relax, and experience a little of what Uganda has to offer.
We contacted Madam Aidah of Nakra Safaris Uganda, and she helped us organize a fantastic 3-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Despite our large group and the relatively short notice, everything was well planned and professionally handled.
From the transportation and accommodation to the game drives and the visit to the magnificent Murchison Falls, the entire experience was enjoyable and well organized. The team was responsive, welcoming, and attentive to our needs throughout the trip.
Travelling as a group of 23 can be challenging, especially when arrangements are made on short notice, but Nakra Safaris Uganda managed everything smoothly. They showed us that group tours can be organized properly, even with limited preparation time.

Reliable, flexible, and easy to work with.
We booked a 9-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania this September and really enjoyed the whole trip.
Johnson helped us plan the itinerary and was very patient with all my requests and changes before the trip. We revised the plan several times, and he always tried his best to make the arrangements work for us.
Our guides Jackson, Paul, and Mohammed were all very kind and helpful. We saw almost everything we had hoped to see, including the Big Five, the Great Migration, and even lions hunting, which was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
The accommodations were also good overall, and everything went smoothly during the 9 days.
It was our first safari and we loved it so much. I already want to come back again! Thanks to KLA for the great experience!

Victoria Falls Family Trip

The best tour operator I have worked with.
I used Trailmarks Expeditions to plan a family vacation and we have really enjoyed. The tour operator checked on us severally in a day to make sure that we were okay. She also curated an affordable trip for a family of four, staying at a nice hotel. She also made sure I had the best hotel transfers. Anytime I needed any clarification, she was available to help. This has been the best experience so far.

Great experience
We had such a great experience and would happily recommend Guide Simon to anyone planning a safari.
Carolyn was amazing from the very beginning. She always replied quickly, understood exactly what we were looking for, and was super flexible whenever we wanted to adjust the itinerary. Communication was easy and smooth the whole time, which made us feel very comfortable and confident about the trip.
Our guide Simon was fantastic. His car was always clean, and he even cleaned it during the trip so we could start every day with a fresh and tidy vehicle. It may sound like a small detail, but after spending long days on safari, we really appreciated it.
Simon is also an excellent driver. His driving was so smooth that sometimes you almost forgot you were on rough safari roads. We always felt safe and comfortable with him, and honestly, we feel very lucky that Simon was our guide.
One more recommendation: if your itinerary includes Nakuru, definitely consider staying at The Cliff. We absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful and was easily one of our favorite stays of the whole trip.

Exceptional Safari Experience, esp. for those like me looking for once per life time experience
A safari in Africa was my "once in a lifetime" plan — but after travelling with Kenya Bush Tracks Safaris, it's a trip I'd happily do again in the future. My experience with them was excellent at every stage, from planning to the safari itself.
For the planning part: Before booking, I researched a range of mid-range and luxury operators and gathered quotes from around 7 companies. Kenya Bush Tracks came in around the middle on price, so I didn't choose them because they were the cheapest — I chose them because they were by far the most responsive and caring. Caroline, my first point of contact, was genuinely attentive and took the time to understand exactly what we needed. Despite the time zone difference, she usually replied within an hour, often outside her own working hours. Where some companies pushed me to decide and book as quickly as possible, Caroline patiently talked through our needs and waited for me to confirm our flight schedule before finalizing anything. For example, I had specific preferences for a few of our stays — I wanted to lodge inside the park so I could watch the sunrise over the endless plains — and Caroline helpfully built the itinerary around that. Later, just as I was about to confirm everything, my travel agent couldn't secure my flights and we had to push the trip back by two days. Caroline rearranged the entire tour without hesitation. Booking from another continent is a real challenging - that I can't lock in the itinerary without knowing my flights, yet the flight schedule depends on the hotels and safari route — and underneath it all sits the worry of whether the company is even legitimate, or whether I'am handing over a big deposit for nothing. Caroline patiently coordinated every moving piece and gave me the confidence that it would all come together. It did.
On the safari part: Our guide was Moses, and his experience showed constantly. He knew how to minimize time lost to traffic on the drives between parks and always seemed to find the better route. Inside the parks he navigated effortlessly, without ever needing a map. He clearly had strong relationships with other guides too — when drivers passed by, they would often stop to exchange sightings and information. Thanks to him, we not only saw the Big Five but were also fortunate enough to spot Black Rhinos in Lake Nakuru National Park, where only 20ish exist across a huge area. Moses also consistently did more than we asked. Our original plan was a morning game drive, a midday rest, and an afternoon drive each day — but knowing how precious the time was, he proactively offered to arrange packed lunch boxes for 2 days so we could stay out from dawn to sunset. Truly appreciate his effort as he drove from 7am to 5pm for 2 days. Over the course of the trip we talked about each other's families, and by the end he felt less like a guide and more like a friend.
Due to our plan to cover different National Parks, we only spent 2 days in Maasai Mara and missed the massive river crossing. But thanks to the careful planning by Caroline and Moses, we still witnessed almost everything else we'd hoped for. What may be "Routine" for them guiding clients through the parks day after day, was, for me and my wife, a once-in-a-lifetime experience I'll never forget.
And if you're reading this review: I meant every word above. I genuinely and wholeheartedly recommend Kenya Bush Tracks Safaris.
(P.S. If budget allows, book a private vehicle as we did rather than car-pooling with strangers, I saw how crowded it was from other cars. Moses let me stop whenever I like and wait patiently for the perfect photo.)
