I couldn’t be happier that we chose Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris Limited for our Tanzania Safari. Rarely these days does anyone meet your expectations, must less exceed them. But that’s exactly what we got with Meru Slopes.

I started working with Shadrack back in February. We went back and forth because I had a lot of questions and wants. And an average budget. Not once did he ever make me feel like I was a bother. Not once did I NOT get a response in a timely manner, which made me wonder if he ever slept. His customer service was so next level, I actually thought that he was the owner. I did not get any of that from any other Company I reached out too.

We ended up booking a 9 day private mid-range Tour because of the affordability. We visited Lake Manyara, The Central Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater and Tarangire National Park. Mude was our guide and he was fantastic. He was an exceptional driver, extremely accommodating to our needs, kept our Land Rover clean, made sure we had hot lunches everyday and had a mission to make sure we saw the top 5 and every other species of animals available. And we did, he was such a good spotter. I can’t quit raving about him, Shadrack and everyone else at this Company. Tells me everything I need to know about the owner, who by the way, is a local. And we like to support the locals.

Every place we stayed was different, unique, beautiful and comfortable. The food was amazing, and so good at two of the places, we asked for the chef to thank him personally. We were just there in April from the 21st to the 29th(2026). It was shoulder season so there weren’t many other people. In two of the places we stayed, we were the only ones there. You would think the service wouldn’t be as good, but on the contrary. We got so much attention.

It was towards the end of rainy season, but luckily, there was very little. And it came at times that never affected our safari’s. Every single day we saw so many animals. Herd after Herd of Wildebeest, Elephants, Zebra, so many different types of Antelopes, Lions, Cheetahs, Hippos, Rhinos, the list goes on. Until what they call the Great Migration when some animals head to Kenya, from September to July, they are all in The Serengeti in Tanzania. And migrating daily to different areas in the park. Spring is when the babies are born, and every herd had a lot. Every day was something new and exciting, too many highlights to list them all, but one of our favorites; Finding about 4 mama lions and lots of babies eating a wildebeest they had killed the night before. We were the first ones there and stayed for at least an hour. At some point, a couple of other jeeps turned up, but in season, you could experience over 50. No thanks.

The one thing I would change about our itinerary; I would not include Tarangire, the last National Park we visited. And I would spend two nights at the places where we only stayed one night. And I would probably add in a few other places in Tanzania. Instead, we headed to Kenya for a 5 day Safari thinking we would see something different. After Tanzania, and such a perfect Safari on every level. Kenya was a huge disappointment. Especially the roads, they were horrendous. Tanzania truly was a dream of a lifetime. And it didn’t break the bank. Shadrack, Mude, Joseph, Edmond and every other single person we met in Tanzania was genuinely friendly, sincere, and just good people. Our accommodation was unique and beautiful. The Food fantastic. The service exceptional.

Visiting The Kruger offers a fantastic opportunity to view the best of South Africa's wildlife in a relatively compact area. Whilst The Kruger is a huge space in it's own right, the tarmac roads make game spotting relatively easy and whilst these roads and self guided visitors may detract from the feeling of being "out in the wild", this does not detract from the incredible feeling of seeing the beautiful flora and fauna of this amazing country close up.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Amazing Memories
5/5

We booked an 8-day, 7-night mid-to-high-end safari package with Amazing Memories, and it genuinely lived up to its name. Our guide and driver, John, took us across four stunning destinations, Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara, and the entire journey was wonderfully managed from start to finish.

John was consistently punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us to an incredible number of wildlife sightings, most memorably an abundance of lions and at remarkably close range. Every question we asked was answered with expertise and genuine enthusiasm, which made the experience so much richer. Our requested accommodations were also arranged exactly as specified, with no surprises.

The only minor regret from the trip was not spotting a leopard this time around, but that's the magic of the wild, and it just gives us a reason to return!

If you're planning a safari and want a seamless, well-organized, and truly memorable experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Amazing Memories. You're in great hands.

Here are some tips based on our experience:
No need to bring a water bottle as the vehicle is well-stocked with bottled water throughout the trip.

That said, do pack a hat and a scarf or mask. The safari vehicle has an open roof and open sides (ours was a photographic pop-up roof 4x4 Land Cruiser with no windows), so dust and wind can get intense, especially on bumpy dirt tracks.

Sunscreen is a must. You will be exposed to direct sun for long stretches, so don't skip this.

Last but not least, bring binoculars! They make a huge difference when spotting animals at a distance and will genuinely level up your game drive experience.

Very kind people willing to accommodate your needs.

We had an amazing 10 day experience through the safari. We were a little intimidated by being in a new country but the responsiveness of the tour group really helped us adjust. You won’t know about some of the pickup/drop off times until day of but that is normal in the country.

Our fantastic second trip with Epic Uganda Vacation!
5/5

In February, 2026, the two of us enjoyed a wonderful nine day private tour through beautiful Uganda, using Epic Uganda Vacation! This was our second trip with this company, having spent eight days with them in Rwanda in 2025. We have enjoyed all aspects of working with Epic Uganda, from the seamless organization and prompt communication through Jonathan in the office, to the excellent guiding and driving by Moses! Highlights of this trip included: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, a wildlife filled boat tour of the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park, a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, and a motorized canoe trip in the Mabamba Wetland to see the amazing shoebill stork!
We thought that our tour gave us great value for the money, and would not hesitate to recommend this company! Rest assured that, from the moment that you exit the airport, to the moment that you return there, you will be in great hands with Epic Uganda Vacation!

Professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a seamless and unforgettable safari.

We had an incredible experience with Kojuu on our honeymoon and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Our guide, Leonard, was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to explain the animals, their behaviors, and the ecosystems we were exploring, which made every game drive even more interesting. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm truly helped make the safari a memorable and special experience.

We also worked closely with Jessca while planning our trip, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She was responsive, organized, and made sure every detail was taken care of. I have food allergies, and she ensured they were communicated to all of our accommodations and even considered when arranging packed lunches for our game drives, which gave us great peace of mind.

The accommodations throughout the trip were excellent, and every lodge and camp exceeded our expectations. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti, and were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the perfect honeymoon adventure.

Thank you to Leonard, Jessca, and the entire Kojuu team for creating such an unforgettable trip!

Trip of a lifetime with the most knowledgeable guide that exceeded all expectations
5/5

We booked a private 1 week safari tour with suricata safaris that took us through Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro. We came in with high expectations and somehow the experience still blew our minds. The tour is well organized, with great accommodations and delicious food everyday. Most of all, our guide Elias was so knowledgeable and answered every question we asked. His passion for animals was inspiring and made us appreciate every scenery and sighting. His experience in navigating each park also allowed us to see the big five and 81 lions throughout the trip! Definitely choose suricata safaris as your safaris operator and request for Elias for an unforgettable experience!
