One of the best South African Safari destinations.
PGR is one of my favourite destinations in South Africa. It boasts great numbers of game including the Big 5. One can do self drives or go on a game drive with knowledgeable guides.

We stayed at Pom Pom camp and although we did not see much on the 3 game drives during our 3 night stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride on the delta as well as the makoro experience.

We stayed in Sango and were disappointed overall. game drives with the exception of the first morning were very long and not much wildlife. Guide was not very interested. Overall we would have skipped this one.

Review about Makgadikgadi Pans National Park by C H
Very difficult to see wildlife. Due to the rains we were unable to quad and sleep under the stars. However, the brilliant part were the meerkats. Amazing creatures. I would also suggest the bushmen walk was very contrived and some of their group even seemed to be a bit bored. I felt this was a way for them to make money and felt obliged. The explanations were interesting but I would have rather donated to a cause.

Amazing elephant river crossings
Guide was great. The boat ride on the river was an amazing way to see the wildlife from a different perspective. Wildlife was a bit scarce but we did have two river crossings to watch with elephants which was the key highlight. Great sunsets. Chobe Elephant Camp was great, the staff were very accommodating.

We went in November and the wildlife was mostly gone from the park. The scenic beauty and solitude of the park are unmatched though.
