An Unforgettable Safari Experience
It was an absolutely wonderful safari tour!
Our guide showed us so many different animals up close, including lions and elephants. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience even more special.
All the meals were also delicious throughout the trip.

Great Safari
Our safari was an incredible experience from start to finish, and a big part of that was thanks to Gasper. As a young couple on our first safari, we really appreciated having someone we could completely rely on throughout the entire trip.
Gasper organized everything for us and made sure that every detail was taken care of. Communication was always easy and straightforward, and whenever we had a question or needed help, he was there for us and responded quickly. We especially appreciated how friendly, honest, and trustworthy he was throughout the whole experience.
The lodges and accommodations he selected for us were also fantastic and made our 6-day safari even more enjoyable. Everything was well planned, and we never had to worry about a thing.
This trip gave us so many unforgettable memories, and we are incredibly grateful for the effort and care that went into organizing it

Unbelieveable experience!
The safari was perfect planned and executed. :-) From the airport pickup until the drop off to the hotel on the last day of the safari.
The Guide was a perfect for us. He will provide you with everything you need on the safari. He knows the perfect spots, timeline always in his head and cares about you so you dont have to do anything then look/photograph the animals. ;-)
All was very uncomplicated. Really loved it.

Overall: absolutely fantastic company that catered to my changing mind very easily and I couldn't be happier. I'll go into detail about the tour operator and my guide.
Having discussed with Pilly the tour operator over WhatsApp my two day safari in the udzungwa mountains from Dar, which is already not the most common package available, she helped me cut cost to what was affordable to me. Later during the holiday I decided last minute on the night before my second day that I wanted to extend my trip to include a safari at mikumi. The next morning this was arranged, confirmed and paid for. I couldn't be happier.
My guide, Willy was a fantastic, welcoming, fun and informative guide. Im udzungwa he helped arrange multiple things including meals and multiple guides as well as keeping them happy. At mikumi he showed a wealth of knowledge of the animals, used his connections with the other guides and rangers to help locate the animals and had no trouble maneuvering the car over very tough terrain whilst simultaneously giving me the best angle to take photographs, all whilst having fun and a good time.
Special mention regarding the accommodation and food organised by the company:
Camp lilac at mikumi was by far one of my favourite safari/national park accommodations I've been to. Its still new and a bit further away from the national park but I adored the accommodation itself, really elegant large tents that have hardwood flooring with fantastic and very clean amenities. The rooms were so elegant and simple i loved it. They're currently building what I think will be a lobby of sorts or an eating area but for now I got to eat outside with a great view of the uluguru hills.
Where Willy took me and the guide for the udzungwas for lunch was by far the best meals I've had on safari. Often safari accommodation try to imitate western food for the western palate and whilst I understand it, I kind of hate it. This place had fantastic good samaki makange na wali na maharagwe and I LOVED it and their chicken was fantastic too.
Thank you so much for a fantastic time and my final message is if you like monkeys please do go to udzungwa and if you want to see the sanje mangabey id recommend doing two days at udzungwa and go on the njokamoni trail the morning of the second day.

Tshiamo is the best guide! Funny, and really sharp at spotting wildlife. He even spotted a leopard
We had a wonderful time with Moafrika tours at Pilanesburg national Park, we saw animals at nearly every turn, including a leopard, which is very difficult to spot at Pilanesberg National Park. Even our Braai was amazing. Highly recommended

An unforgettable first safari experience!
A special thanks to our driver and guide, John Mwangi. He was very kind, attentive, and always made sure that everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. He was also excellent at finding animals and choosing great viewing spots during the game drives.
Everything was well organized, and all the hotels were exactly as booked. The accommodations were comfortable and in good condition, so I had no issues throughout the trip.
I traveled to Kenya alone as a female traveler, and I felt safe and well taken care of during the entire safari. I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris to other travelers, including solo female travelers.
One small tip for future travelers: game drives can get very dusty, so I highly recommend bringing a good protective face mask, like the ones we used during COVID. It will make the drives much more comfortable.
I actually bought a camera specifically for this trip, and after experiencing the safari, I have absolutely no regrets! It was such a memorable experience and a wonderful introduction to Africa. I would happily recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Excellent service, reliable communication, and an unforgettable safari experience!
Our safari experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The communication was clear, professional, and prompt, and the entire trip was very well organized.
A special mention goes to our excellent driver and guide, John Mwangi, who made our safari truly memorable. John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, professional, and always made sure we were comfortable. His knowledge of the wildlife, excellent driving skills, and ability to spot animals made every game drive an amazing experience.
The tour operator was reliable, flexible, and very supportive throughout the trip. Everything was well planned, and the service provided excellent value for money. We had an amazing time in Kenya and created unforgettable memories.

Tom our guide was wonderful
We had an amazing experience on our Maasai Mara safari, and a big part of it was because of our wonderful guide, Tom.
Tom was an excellent guide who explained everything in great detail and shared so much interesting and useful information with us throughout the trip. He knew all the routes very well and had an incredible knowledge of the area and the animals. He always knew where to go and where we had the best chances of spotting wildlife.
The safari itself was absolutely amazing and very special. We got to see so many incredible animals and learned a lot about the Maasai Mara and its wildlife. Tom made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his knowledge, patience and friendly nature.
Our stay was also excellent and everything was very well organised. Overall, it was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. We would definitely recommend Tom as a guide to anyone visiting the Maasai Mara. Thank you, Tom, for making our safari so special!

Reliable, friendly, supportive
The two of us went on a 6-day shared safari with Tanzania Pilgrimage, and we are thrilled with the experience. Ultimately, there were four of us plus the guide for the entire trip. On two of the days, other travelers joined us in our jeep.
The organizers supported us whenever we had questions, and everything ran smoothly. They really do everything to ensure you have a wonderful experience. A huge thanks to Yohanes, who organized our safari and handled every matter quickly and reliably.
Our guide, Julius, was also very friendly and always ready to explain the unique features of the savanna. Despite the dusty and bumpy roads, we felt we were in good hands with Julius.
With a bit of luck, we saw the Great Migration, all of the "Big Five" and countless other animals.
On the last day, we drove to Lake Natron. The lake is beautifully situated with a view of Ol Doinyo Lengai. However, the drive was too long and exhausting for a day trip, so it is not something we would do again.
The highlight was definitely the Serengeti with its vast, endless landscapes - we would certainly recommend spending three days there. But we were also constantly amazed during the day trips to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater.
A dream came true for us, and we are glad that Tanzania Pilgrimage made it possible.
