Helpful and friendly
I'd rate my experience overall as about 4.5 so rounding up. Given the chance, I would book the trip again as it was great at a very good price compared to the other quotes I received.
We booked a 12 day safari for my two kids (10 & 9) and I which covered Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Hell's gate.
Overall we were happy with camp selection which included Samburu Intrepids (our least favorite), Maisha Sweetwaters (our favorite), Mara Intrepids, and Lake Naivasha Sopa. See my Google reviews of each for more details.
Our guide was Charles and he did a great job driving and finding us all the animals (we saw the big five and lots more). He was good with the kids and very accommodating.
Henry helped us book the trip and was helpful in answering questions and making adjustments to the plan. Overall communication before and during the trip was fine.
The one thing I would change, and that I would have been willing to pay a bit more for, would be a vehicle with a better suspension. The one we were in was pretty rough and you felt every bump which there are so many. One day we took a balloon safari and got picked up in a similar model vehicle but the suspension was so much better and made the bumps much gentler. Additionally the drive between Ol Pajeta to Masai Mara was very long (over 11 hours) and bumpy. Having a nicer vehicle would have made it more pleasant but I would consider booking flights for this one transit.

Amazing experience
Great experience overall! The tour was well organized, and I really enjoyed getting to experience the local culture. My favorite parts were visiting the village and the hike, both were unforgettable and gave us a chance to see the area from a different perspective. The guides were friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and authentic local experiences.

Magical Trip in Tanzania

Courteous and fun giving excellent info and the best at finding hidden gems
They were absolutely brilliant—from meeting us at the border to organizing safaris, waterfall excursions, hot springs, and cultural experiences around Kilimanjaro. Extremely courteous and highly knowledgeable, they even went out of their way to find a unique restaurant serving exceptional gazelle meat. Highly recommended for their outstanding service and expertise.

Life changing safari experience - Highly recommend Daniel Mbise
Just finished an incredible 10-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Daniel Mbise was the most knowledgeable and experienced guide we could have asked for. He taught us so much about the wildlife, local culture, and history. His spotting skills on our game drives were amazing, we saw multiple lions, leopards, cheetahs and even a rhino! As a photographer, I was especially grateful that Daniel was very patient and helped me to get the best angles for shots.
The entire trip was very well planned by Meru Slopes. Kelvin was super responsive and answered my many questions and fully customized the itinerary to fit exactly what we wanted. The accommodations felt luxurious, the food was excellent, and we got to see pretty much everything on our bucket list. I highly recommend booking with Meru Slopes and asking for Daniel Mbise!

Wonderful Safari
We were hesitant to book with Toilo Safari at first because it seemed like a new and small company. However, after reading a few excellent reviews, we decided to trust them and give them a chance and we’re so glad we did.
From the beginning, Julius was incredibly kind, responsive, and helped us plan a fantastic safari. He personally picked us up from the airport and made sure everything was well organized. Our guide, Khaleed, was outstanding. His knowledge of wildlife and his ability to spot animals were amazing. Thanks to him, we saw so many animals and had an unforgettable safari experience.
The food throughout the trip was excellent, and we especially loved trying the delicious local dishes like ugali amd pilau. Every part of the safari exceeded our expectations.
Based on the exceptional service we received, we highly recommend them. They are professional, reliable, and offer excellent value for money. We would definitely book with them again.

Nothing is too much trouble
Michael arranged our lodgings and Paul our fantastic guide met us at the airport. We had a 3 day 2 night tour in Ol Pajeta and it was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and saw everything and more. Would highly recommend Leopard Orchid to anyone thinking of Kenya for safari

A must do!
Picked up my hotel by my guide Delight.
He was nice and talkative which is great. I asked a lot of questions and he had a lot of knowledge. He was polite, before starting the tour he went through the various maps and preempted what we were going to see. Allowed me a rest room stop before starting the 1.5mile walk. Those that hate getting wet get a raincoat. I didn’t and had the full experience drenched but omg the weather was so nice that I dried on walk back. Delight gave me a wonderful tour, took pictures for me, carried my bag. He so knowledgeable and explained as far as how the gorge formed, info about the bridge, the statue and about the animals
