🇰🇪 Kenya — Highly Recommended
▸ Masai Mara is smaller than Serengeti — animals are concentrated and encounters are close. Book at least 3 days.
▸ Guide Symoh was excellent and well-connected — could quickly reach fresh sighting spots.His Land Cruiser needs an upgrade though — bumpier and less comfy than other operators.
▸ Amboseli was great — request Osutua Rafiki Camp over Nyati Safari Camp.
⚠️ Ask for Flair Camp in Masai Mara than Manyatta Camp — Derrick arranged the wrong one initially but fixed it quickly.

▸ Actually operated by a third party — pricing markup is significant. Get independent quotes.
▸ Guide Tony was great, but a broken walkie-talkie limited wildlife updates.
⚠️ Avoid tea/coffee with bush chef if you have a sensitive stomach — two of us got sick.

▸ Poor communication between handoffs — we often didn't know who our next guide would be
▸ Pickup times on day one was not confirmed before arrival — a heads-up the before would help not to book breakfast buffet from hotel
▸ Driver in chief Jacob was friendly but occasionally inflexible with scheduling
