Outstanding planning/logistics and stunning wildlife made our safari the trip of a lifetime!
Our family of six had never been to Tanzania or on safari, and Dancing Zebra Safari made it a huge success. We went to three national park sites (Ngorogoro, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti) and saw an amazing array of animals up close – it was just magical. Lions (hunting and feeding!), elephants (mating!), giraffes (necking!), rhinos, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeests, zebras, 8 types of gazelles, flamingos, ostriches, crown cranes, the list goes on and on. The scenery was stunning, with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Our driver, Frank, had encyclopedic knowledge of the area and the animals and was great fun; he was a wizard navigating the Land Cruiser through tricky terrain. He was also a fantastic photographer, and shared his photos with us after the trip. We stayed at three Lemala camps (Ngorogoro, Ewanjan, and Kuria Hills) and loved them all – the staff was uniformly wonderful and we all agreed the service was the best we have ever experienced anywhere. And the food! No idea how the staff created such varied, delicious, and beautiful food in the bush. “Sundowners” were a favorite pastime, enjoying a cocktail by the fire while the sun went down and getting to know the staff and other visitors. Dancing Zebra made the whole process easy – Jess created a terrific itinerary, answered all our questions, and provided detailed written materials to help with packing and trip prep. When our return flights changed, she worked with her team to restructure our last day, including rebooking our flight out of the bush, gaining us one more day in the national park rather than spending the time in the airport. Our adult kids loved the all-inclusive food and drink! The trip was perfectly planned, well-executed, and a great value – we brought home incredible photos and memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing 1st time trip to Africa
Emmanuel at Almasi Africa did an amazing job ensuring that we had an incredible experience. From the pickup, to the wildlife safari, to the Zenzibar beach time, it was fantastic. Michael, our wildlife safari driver, found lions, a leopard eating a wildebeest in a tree, python, but my favorite was the male elephant that walked right up to the jeep and stared us down. I 100% recommend this tour agency.

We booked a 10 day private safari from Nairobi through to Arusha with Rafiki Tembo Tours & Safaris and it was fantastic. Everything was well organised, with all the guides/drivers booked, accommodation and park entries all sorted ahead of time. Lowassa was extremely helpful in the lead up to our safari and checked in with us during the safari to see how things were going. We were collected at the airport in Nairobi by George (our Kenyan guide/driver) and taken to our privately booked accommodation, where we spent 2 nights recovering from our flights before starting our safari. Our guides/drivers(George in Kenya and Simba in Tanzania) were knowledgeable and did their utmost to ensure we saw as much as possible. Both George and Simba seemed to know just where to find certain animals.
It was a fantastic experience and we feel very privileged to be able to see these magnificent animals in their natural surrounds. It did make us think though about how tourism and the number of people visiting these areas might impact the animals. We got so close to some of them, that sometimes it seemed as if the animals might have been thinking 'oh it's those humans again, can I go now?', especially when there were 10 or 20 or more cars all around them.
We enjoyed the Tanzania side of our safari a little more, for us it just seemed a little more relaxed.
Tracks in and between the parks are pretty rough, so be prepared to be bounced around and to have everything with a coating of dust, despite best efforts otherwise.
Overall, a fantastic experience that we will treasure.

The safari itself exceeded our expectations. The vehicles were comfortable, the food was great, and the mix of lodges and tented camps provided a memorable and authentic safari experience. The hospitality at every accommodation was outstanding.
Our guides were highly knowledgeable, experienced, and patient, helping us spot all the wildlife we hoped to see while giving us plenty of time to enjoy the experience and take photos. The entire journey was something we didn’t have to use our brains for, so good!
They provide extremely good guide/host, the stays were very clean and inclusive and so comfortable, food was taken care of as per our needs, everything in their hands was performed timely. The over all experience was true to the expectations, stays being more than that.
