Great experience for us!
We compared several safari companies before making our decision, and Sereland Africa Safaris stood out from the beginning. They provided the clearest overview of what to expect and had already prepared a detailed itinerary for us to review before booking.
The booking process was also incredibly smooth. Every question we had was answered extremely quickly, usually within just 1–10 minutes.
When our safari started, our guide, John Boma, came to pick us up. It was immediately clear that John is a very experienced guide. He explained what we could expect over the next few days and made it clear that if we wanted to change anything along the way, he would take care of it.
We had a private safari, which made the whole experience very flexible. Throughout the days, we could decide when we wanted to eat, how long we wanted to stay somewhere, and whether there were any particular animals or places we still wanted to see.
John knew every national park we visited incredibly well and always seemed to know exactly where to take us to find the action. During our three-day safari, we saw more wildlife than I could ever have hoped for!
Throughout the trip, I jokingly kept giving John new “challenges” by naming rare or special animals we wanted to see next – and somehow, he always managed to find them. Among many other animals, we saw five huge rhinos, three male lions, several giraffes, and enormous elephants together with their young. It was incredible.
The meals during the safari were also handled very professionally. Compared with other groups we saw, the difference was noticeable. We always had a beautiful table setting and a proper warm meal. I didn’t see any other groups having the same kind of warm, multi-course meals that we had. The food was always excellent and clearly prepared with respect for local flavours and traditions.
We stayed both nights at Ikumbi Lodge, which was also an excellent choice. The staff were extremely welcoming and the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Overall, I can warmly recommend Sereland Africa Safaris, and especially John Boma. He genuinely cared about making the safari a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, and he absolutely succeeded.
Although, calling it “once in a lifetime” might not be completely accurate – because after this experience, we will definitely be coming back!

Above and beyond
Excellent experience. We have simply had the most amazing, wonderful, and peaceful time booking with Jacmiya Safaris and in particular our liason Jael, and most importantly our guide Joshua. We chose Jacmiya after reading online reviews for our honeymoon and our first time in Kenya.
Our journey through the Mara has been filled with so many animal spotting, learning about facts and taking so many detours to look at majestic elephants, and elusive cats. We have spend all of our time in the Mara being treated so well and are really grateful for the time and experience.
Lastly thank you so much to our guide Joshua. He is simply above and beyond. He has made our journey comfortable and memorable. We have learnt so much and enjoyed all the animals so much that I know both me and my wife will leave feeling extremely satisfied and hungry for more next time!

Jaqueline is amazing at what she does. She is responsive and knows what she is talking about. I was shopping around and she was more responsive and had a better price, no brainer.
I did volcanoes NP + Bwindi NP. This trip changed my life. It was absolutely amazing
Brian was my tour guide. I highly recommend you ask for Brian as your tour guide. He was 20 out of 10. He knew people on the ground everywhere we went and made sure I got the best experience possible.
He is also a spectacular driver and if you come, you need a driver that knows the roads and handles stress well.

An Absolutely Outstanding Safari Experience!
Just finished a 9-day safari with this company, and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal.
From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized, thoughtfully planned, and taken care of down to the smallest details. The camp team was amazing, surprising us every day with new experiences and a wonderful variety of fresh, healthy meals.
The itinerary was equally impressive: exceptionally well designed, with every day bringing something new and exciting. And, of course, the wildlife encounters were simply unbelievable.
A special mention goes to our guide, Jame, who truly made this trip unforgettable. He was professional, responsible, reliable, knowledgeable, sharp, funny, and incredibly easygoing. He struck the perfect balance between making us feel safe and well taken care of while ensuring every day was exciting and memorable.
We would also like to thank David for his patience and relaxed, accommodating attitude throughout the booking process. His approach gave us great confidence in the trip, even when we experienced some delays with the payment.
Overall, this was an exceptional experience, and we cannot recommend the company highly enough. Thank you to David, Jame, and the entire crew for making these nine days so special!
