Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours is highly professional, well organised, friendly and 100% local.
It was my first Safari in Africa and the whole experience exceeded my expectations by far. The whole tour was well organised from the start and Alex and his team are highly professional.
After one day of relaxation we had well picked tours from the waterfall to the safaris. We wanted to focus on the nature and safaris but even the authentic impression of culture and people we saw were really pleasent and didnt feel fake or uncomfortable and completed the whole experience. As mentioned we were extremely excited about the nature and wildlife and we saw everything and more. Big5, all cats closely, the big migration on the mara river (thanks to the amazing intuition of our driver MJ we had the perfect spot to watch one of natures biggest events). What was especially surprising to us were some of the accommodations. I felt sometimes like "is that really for us ?!", as it was truly luxurious sometimes. Situated in the parcs we were able to start right away in the morning, which opened the door to have some really special sighting as animals are more active at this time. Our guides were warm, friendly and with great knowledge and the right timing bringing us in best positions. And sometimes they joined for the dinner giving us a lot of insights into Tanzania and its culture outside of safari as well. I have seen some places but this holiday was truly exceptional and we made unforgettable experiences as a family.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania
Our 3 day safari in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!
We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, and our guide Victor made the experience even more special. He was fantastic — very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. We always felt in great hands with him!
The camps we stayed at were also a real experience in themselves. Staying in such beautiful locations, surrounded by nature and wildlife, was truly unforgettable.

A safari company that truly cares — about its guests, wildlife and the experience.
From our very first contact back in the Netherlands, we had a really good feeling about this company — and our trip only confirmed that.
Before the trip, everything was easy to arrange via the app and by phone. They were flexible, helpful and even picking us up from the friends we were staying with in Kenya was no problem at all. The price also stood out in a very positive way. We compared several safari companies, and their price was significantly more competitive and, above all, realistic — without compromising on quality.
And then we got Evans Ngeno as our driver and guide.
For six days, he was there for us and took care of everything. What impressed us most was his incredible knowledge of nature and animal behaviour. He knew how to read the animals and could often predict where they were going to move next. As a result, he was often in exactly the right place at exactly the right time — and so were we. This led to some incredible wildlife encounters and amazing photo opportunities.
He also showed genuine respect for nature, the animals and his fellow guides. There was no chasing animals just to get a photo or trying to get to the front at all costs. Instead, there was patience, knowledge and respect. Exactly how we believe a safari should be experienced.
When we ran into problems with one of our accommodations, Evans was immediately there for us. He helped us think through the situation, made calls, tried to arrange solutions and made sure we were not left to deal with it on our own. It is in moments like these that you realise someone is not simply doing their job — they genuinely feel responsible for the people in their care.
We had six fantastic days and look back on a safari we will never forget. The combination of personal attention, flexibility, knowledge, respect for nature and excellent value for money means we can absolutely recommend this company.

Knowledgeable guide, great experience
We found this safari to be great value for money. We spent 3 days in Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater with the guide Victor. Victor was able to show us all the animals we could’ve hoped to see and had a lot of information about all of them. He was helpful when we needed it, allowed us to take good photos and definitely an unforgettable once in a lifetime adventure. Recommend camping, saw elephants, giraffe, and zebras at the campsites.

An unforgettable Tanzania safari with an incredible guide
Our trip to Tanzania with Big Five Trails was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was very well organized and allowed us to experience some of the most beautiful places in the country, with incredible wildlife sightings and unforgettable landscapes.
A huge part of what made the trip so special was our guide, Tony. He was simply incredible: professional, friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the animals, nature and Tanzania. He is also an exceptional tracker — it honestly felt as if he had some kind of direct communication with the animals! He had an incredible ability to spot wildlife from a distance, read tracks and signs, and somehow always seemed to know where the animals were going to appear. Thanks to him, we were able to see an amazing variety of wildlife and enjoy some truly unforgettable encounters.
He made every safari drive exciting and interesting, and was always attentive to the group, making us feel comfortable and safe throughout the whole trip.
Everything was well coordinated, communication was easy, and the overall experience felt very personal rather than like a standard organized tour.
Tanzania was already an incredible destination, but Tony and the team made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend Big Five Trails to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, and I would especially recommend asking for Tony as your guide. I would travel with them again without hesitation!

Amazing 3-Day Kenya Safari – Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha
We had an absolutely fantastic 3-day safari visiting Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
A special mention has to go to our guide, Joe, who really made the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and patient, and clearly passionate about Kenya and its wildlife. Joe seemed to have an incredible ability to spot animals from miles away and always knew where to go to give us the best experience.
Each destination offered something different. Lake Naivasha was beautiful and peaceful, Lake Nakuru offered incredible wildlife and stunning scenery, and the Masai Mara was simply spectacular. We saw so much wildlife and had some truly magical moments that we'll remember for a long time.
I also want to give a big shout-out to Beyond The Plains Kenya Safaris. They were fantastic to deal with from the very beginning. Communication was excellent, they were very prompt with their responses, answered all my questions and kept me informed about everything throughout the planning process and during the trip. That made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free.
And of course, Joe went above and beyond throughout the safari, making sure we were comfortable, answering all our questions and adapting the experience to make the most of every opportunity.
The landscapes, wildlife and overall experience were amazing, but the combination of a great safari company and an exceptional guide made it even more special.
