Professional and affordable Lifetime-Experience
We‘ve booked the 3-Day Massai Mara-Tour, based on a recommendation of some Friends. Communication was easy from the beginning via WhatsApp and Mail. Replies came almost immediately. Started in Nairobi in the morning, we had our first Game-Drive already the same afternoon until Sunset. Our Guide Gilbert was incredible and managed to find the Big 5 and much more Game along the route within the first 3 hours. The second day then was really what you can call „Once in a liftime“! From the pure Beauty and Grace of so many animals like Giraffes and Elephants which created so many heartwarming moments, sometimes only a few Meters Away, up to the pure brutality of the Circle of life when we witnessed a complete and successful Hunt of 3 Lioness on a group of Wildebeest, lasting for about 1/2 hour and letting our hearts stop beating when they finally attacked at close range. One kill for that day was enough and we all were therefore happy when a group of Zebras crossed the Croc-infested Mara-River und reached the other side unharmed, despite some Crocs were visible very close to them. Only a few stories of what we were blessed to experience. As I said: Unforgettable moments, thanks to our great Guide Gilbert!

Quick communication and problem solver
Initially, we were a bit uncertain because of the small number of reviews, but all our doubts quickly vanished.
Mike from Big Bull Safari was exceptionally communicative and always responded to our inquiries within a very short time. Due to illness during our trip, we faced a few unexpected issues and needed assistance along the way. Big Bull Safari stepped in every single time without delay, providing quick support and outstanding solutions.
The safari tours themselves were wonderful. The guides were consistently friendly, helpful, and took plenty of time at every sight—we never felt rushed at all. Our accommodation, the Umbhaba Eco Lodge, was also beautiful. A special highlight was the dinner: the buffet offered exceptionally high-quality and delicious dishes.
We can highly recommend Big Bull Safari and would definitely book with them again!

Great safari experience
Our guide Raheem Mwema was exceptional - knowledgeable about wildlife and patient. We were lucky to see four out of five big five animals (except rhinos).
Whole trip was perfectly paced, a lot of time to take photos of the animals.
Highly recommend the guide and the company.

By far the Most complete, organized, informed, connected and attentive travel organization
Super attentive, complete and reliable. Amazing value (if anything… they are too inexpensive ) when you see other “discount” groups out there on the trail… we found ourselves remarking how lucky we were as often as we remarked about what we were seeing. Outstanding service, guides, clean new vehicles, perfect lodging partnerships. Every day was literally a step up from the previous day. Patience, knowledge and attention turn to detail and Altezza never failed.
We did a Kilimajaro climb and a follow up safari … wild extremes … and Altezza never missed a step. Altezza owns that mountain when it comes to success, safety and support. Turn the rating scale up to 11+ because a 10 of 10 isn’t enough .

I really liked my guide Davy Mnyama and would love to work with him again. He was excellent over the two days I was with him. It was incredible how much we could see in such a small time.
For Jocky overall, I feel they can communicate things a lot better. Overall everything went well, but you really have to chase them for answers or responses. Based on chatting to other safari tourists I felt the prices were good.

5 Day Serengeti Safari
We had an outstanding experience with Long Way Expeditions from start to finish. Ann made the booking process incredibly easy, communication was excellent, and every detail was well organized. She even came to our lodge the evening we arrived to personally ensure we were informed and prepared for the adventure ahead.
The next morning, we met Maila, and from that moment on, he made sure we were exceptionally well taken care of. During the five days we spent with him, we saw and learned so much. Maila was engaging, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure we had the best possible safari experience.
Thanks to his expertise and persistence, we witnessed incredible wildlife, including a cheetah immediately after a successful hunt, lion prides, elephants, leopards, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and so much more. His ability to spot animals and share insights about their behavior truly took our safari to the next level.
We highly recommend Long Way Expeditions to anyone planning a safari. And if you have the opportunity, be sure to ask for Maila as your guide. He is simply the best!

Professional, reliable and experienced
We had an absolutely wonderful trip to South Africa, and a huge part of what made it such a memorable experience was Tammy and the team at Pembury Tours.
This was our first trip to South Africa and our first safari experience. Tammy helped us put together a fantastic 12-day honeymoon trip covering the Sabi Sands, Hermanus, Cape Town and the Winelands.
We were planning the trip relatively last minute, and Tammy did an amazing job helping us customise everything around what we wanted. She made great recommendations based on her experience, helped us find the best packages, and managed to secure all the bookings we needed despite the shorter lead time.
