Excellent choice for safari
We did a 4 day safari in Ruaha NP with Destiny Explorers.
Our driver / guide, Sam, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, punctual and patient. The vehicle was reliable, comfortable and well-maintained.
Issa at DE did a great job with the itinerary, giving us a chance to maximise our time in the park and see as much as possible.
Our accommodation and board (all meals) was arranged with the park itself. Staying in the park cottages was a good choice as it meant we could start morning safaris early and finish later in the afternoons. The cottages were comfortable, quiet and spacious, but hot was definitely not reliable.
Overall, we had a great trip and definitely recommend Issa and DE as a safari operator.

Our driver, Jeremy, made this trip so special for us. He has an amazing eye for wildlife and somehow managed to get us incredible views of lions, elephants, and even a mother cheetah with her cubs. Jeremy was exceptionally polite, knowledgeable, and always ensured we had the best angles for photos while keeping the vibe relaxed and romantic. The land cruiser was spotless, super comfortable for just the two of us, and stocked with cold drinks every morning. The lodges chosen for our 4-day itinerary were cozy, romantic, and had outstanding food. We couldn't have asked for a better romantic getaway in the wild—huge thanks to Jeremy and the whole team!"

Gerard was an excellent guide and driver who made our Suricata Safari an unforgettable experience.
Our safari with Suricata Safari was made truly exceptional by our guide and driver, Gerard. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and had an incredible ability to spot wildlife that we would never have seen on our own. He always made us feel safe, answered every question with enthusiasm, and ensured we had the best possible experience throughout the trip. Gerard is a real asset to the company, and I would highly recommend requesting him if you book a safari.
That said, there were two aspects of the overall experience that were disappointing. First, the company applies a 5% surcharge for card payments, which was not clearly communicated upfront and felt like an unnecessary hidden cost. Greater transparency about payment fees would improve the customer experience.
Second, the pre-safari stay at SG Hotels in Arusha did not meet the standard we expected. The hotel felt dated, and the rooms and overall hospitality environment were old and uncomfortable. Given the otherwise premium safari experience, choosing a better partner hotel would make a significant difference.
Another drawback was that the company mixed mid-range and camping guests in the same safari vehicle, resulting in unnecessary delays and logistical inefficiencies at nearly every stop as different accommodation drop-offs and pick-ups had to be coordinated.
Overall, the safari itself was fantastic thanks to Gerard, but improving payment transparency and upgrading the accommodation in Arusha would make the experience even better.

With John hagiah‘s help, our trip has been absolutely wonderful. i want to go here again！
My English makes me to communicate with some difficulty. Under John hagiah’s guidance, he always uses simple words to introduce wildlife. I could understand nearly all the animal names and their behaviours.His service is excellent. provided free bottled water in the vehicle.
All meals were included, tasted good, and we had no stomach issues. The accommodation was generally nice as well. We are really satisfied with company‘s service.

Excellent price-quality service
We booked a 3-day safari with Uwanda from Dar es Salaam, including transfers, a boat safari, a game drive, and a bush walk. As it wasn't our first safari, we were looking for a good price-quality service, and Uwanda delivered exactly that.
Everything was excellent, especially the game drive with Jafari and Fadhili, who were both professional and attentive. We really enjoyed exploring the park with them, they knew the area incredibly well and shared their knowledge throughout the day.
We would definitely recommend Uwanda to anyone looking for a well-organized and great-value safari experience.
