We had a really positive experience with Tazama, especially our guide, Martin. We traveled with Tazama to Masai Mara to see the great migration and wildlife of the Mara, and the whole experience well surpassed our expectations. Martin was both fun and incredibly knowledgeable, and his experience showed as his instincts helped us find some truly incredible wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. We appreciated that it was both structured and flexible, so even though there was a plan to make the most of things, we were able to work with Martin to tailor our experience in a way to follow our priorities and preferences.

But what added to those qualities was his fun and adventurous personality. We believe this and his immense Maasai pride gave us the trip you won’t find with other safari tours. He taught us about the rich Maasai traditions and culture, not to mention he knows the geography of the Maasai Mara like the back of his hand. He made sure we saw as many different animals as possible and gave explanations for each of their different behaviors.
