Oh my, what a spectacular trip, full of wonder filled days and lifetime memories! Leadwood Holidays and our tour guide, John Phillpo did an outstanding job to make this an "out of this world" experience for us.
From the moment he picked us up to our departure, he was always there for us ...thinking ahead to our every need. John's tracking skills are superb (as an example, he tracked down a leopard that had escaped others attempts). Each day gave us a new and exciting memory. We often heard from other guides that John was truly the absolute best in the industry (having mentored or taught others) and we were privileged to experience it.
We had been on a safari before (which was grand), but John far surpassed our previous time and made this exceptional!

Our Tanzania safari was nothing short of amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to Richard at Timeless Tanzania Safaris. He guided us well with the great migration and we spotted the migration on the day we landed in Serengeti.
Planning a safari from another country can feel overwhelming, but Richard made the entire process incredibly easy. His prompt responses, attention to detail, and thoughtful recommendations gave us complete confidence before we even arrived.
Once we landed, everything was executed flawlessly. Every arrangement was smooth, every transfer was on time, and our guide was exceptional -experienced, warm, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. We never had to think about logistics; we simply enjoyed every moment.

The incredibly friendly and prompt communication made our trip very straightforward. From the airport pick-up to the various hotel transfers, the whole organisation was taken care of for us. The safari part of our holiday also went really well; we set off on our first game drive straight from the airport. Our guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable – we even managed to spot all of the Big Five – which made the safari an unforgettable experience. Even during the safari, we didn’t have to worry about a thing: everything was organised, from drinks and meals to the itinerary. Our stay at the Blue Moon Resort (Zanzibar) was wonderfully relaxing and just perfect for unwinding; we were even able to store some of our luggage there for the duration of the safari.
Next time, we’d just allow more time for the safari – our four days across three national parks turned out to be rather tight.

An unforgettable safari with the very best guide!
What an amazing 7-day safari we had! We visited Tarangire, the Serengeti (Central and Northern), and the Ngorongoro Crater. It was an incredible itinerary with so many beautiful moments and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
And yes… we saw the Big Five! 🐘🦁🐆🦏🐃 An experience we will never forget.
Our trip was made even more special by our wonderful guide, Simon. Thanks to his incredible knowledge, expertise, and love for Tanzania, he showed us so much and taught us a great deal. He always seemed to know exactly where to go and shared fascinating stories and facts about the animals, nature, and the country along the way.
But Simon was not only a fantastic guide; he was also incredibly friendly, fun, and full of humour. We laughed so much together, and thanks to him, we even learned quite a few Swahili words along the way. This made our safari not only special, but also a lot of fun and very personal.
We had a truly unique experience during these seven days and enjoyed every moment of it. The beautiful landscapes, incredible wildlife, and especially Simon’s personal guidance made this trip an unforgettable experience.

Thank you for such an incredible trip which, from the start, was smooth and professional. The responsiveness and clarity during the booking phase was excellent. I flew from the UK and my flight was cancelled which resulted in me arriving to Nairobi 1 day later than planned. Liz in the office simply slid everything back and reschedule my hot air balloon trip without question - I’d paid a deposit for everything so she didn’t need to do this. Upon arrival in Kenya, everything was perfect - our driver James was knowledgable and punctual at all times. Don’t forget to leave him a tip - he deserves it!

3-day friends' trip across Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro!
Four of us booked a quick 3-day circuit with Suricata Safaris, and Jeremy was an absolute masterclass of a safari guide. He didn't just drive us—his deep environmental knowledge transformed the entire experience. On our first afternoon, we spent five hours traversing Lake Manyara, where Jeremy guided us directly to tree-climbing lions perched in acacias and massive baboon troops. The next day, after driving into the Serengeti for an eight-hour stretch across the plains, his instincts brought us face-to-face with a leopard resting on a kopje alongside vast herds of wildebeest. We wrapped up the trip with five hours inside Ngorongoro Crater, spotting rare black rhinos, wallowing hippos, and lions lounging right beside our vehicle. The extended land cruiser fit our group and camera gear easily, and the coordination was flawless throughout!
