An Unforgettable Day Trip to Debre Libanos with Ethiopian Landscape Tours
We had an absolutely wonderful day trip to Debre Libanos Monastery and the Portuguese Bridge with Ethiopian Landscape Tours. The experience was excellent from beginning to end!
We had originally booked the trip just for my wife and me. The evening before our tour, we met a lovely couple from the UK who had no plans for the following day. During our conversation, we told them about our planned trip to Debre Libanos and the Portuguese Bridge. They were interested in joining us, so we contacted Birhanu, the owner of Ethiopian Landscape Tours, to ask whether it would be possible.
Birhanu responded incredibly quickly and warmly agreed to welcome the extra guests. He even arranged a suitable 4x4 vehicle so everyone could travel comfortably. We were impressed by his flexibility, excellent communication and professional organization.
The next morning, our guide AD and driver picked us up, and we set off for a truly unforgettable day. AD was excellent, very knowledgeable about the area, its history and culture, and always happy to share interesting information. The landscapes were beautiful, and seeing the amazing Gelada baboons in their natural habitat was one of the highlights of our trip!
A big thank you to AD for making the day so enjoyable, and to Birhanu for his outstanding organization and hospitality. It was a pleasure to experience Ethiopia with such a professional and welcoming local team.

Perfect
We just did the 6day tour through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and had a fantastic experience end-to-end with Axis Safari. Organizing the tour via whatsapp with Maurene was super easy, she was helpful in providing tipps and answering very fast and we were able to select our own hotels (which is a nice perk compared to other tours). We were lucky to only have 3 other guests at the tour so we had plenty of space in the car. The hotels were very beautiful, comfortable beds and good bathrooms (decent water pressure incl). Food was great as well, vegetarian was never a problem (mostly panner/veggie curries, stir fried veggies, samosas). Our tour driver Kelvin was amazing as well. He drove us around for hours, yet never seemed tired. On our game drives he had a good network of other guides, rangers for hints and was a great spotter himself. We were able to get to many animals as the first car and had them for ourselves for quite a bit. He always made sure we had a good spot to see the animals without compromising the animals personal space. For every animal and bird he had facts ready so we learned a lot. He was a genuine nice guy, always with a smile on his face and happy to answer our questions. We are very happy about our trip and fly back home with great memories and pictures.

An amazing adventure
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Rioba Safaris! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised and exceeded our expectations.
The communication beforehand was excellent, the service was outstanding, and everything was handled professionally and reliably. The entire trip was very well organised, starting with our pick-up at our hotel in Zanzibar, the transfer to the airport, and our arrival in Tanzania, where our adventure began.
A special mention goes to our wonderful guide and driver, Hakeem. He was fantastic: very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and always made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, we saw so many amazing animals, including giraffes, hippos and even a black rhino. And one of the absolute highlights was seeing a lion from just 2 metres away! An incredible experience we will never forget!
We visited Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, both absolutely beautiful places with breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife.
The accommodation was also amazing. We stayed at Escarpment Luxury Lodge, which was truly beautiful. The atmosphere, surroundings and comfort were wonderful. If we could have, we would definitely have stayed a little longer!
Everything was worth the money, and we couldn't have wished for a better organised safari. We are extremely grateful to Rioba Safaris and especially to Hakeem for making this such a special and unforgettable adventure.

The communication was good, the quotation was clear and there were no unexpected charges during the trip.
Brian arrived on time and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. We saw lots of elephants and enjoyed the scenery around Mount Kilimanjaro.

The ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
Tanzania was on top of our bucket list for years; a trip like this is so special and mostly done as a honeymoon or special occasion/family vacation. But we decided to do this once-in-a-lifetime experience together: two young sisters chasing the dream to get to know the amazing culture, people and of course the animals! We compared a lot of companies through Safari Bookings to arrange our dream trip and Ozon Light Tours was the best match for us. They were really looking for a local company with the best interest for the people, country and wildlife. They were very quick in communication, gave us recommendations to make our trip more special and made an amazing initiary. We had quite some wishes, like visiting the Hadzambe tribe and visiting a local school to gift them school supplies (which I can truly recommend, because they were SO happy with the help) and Ozon helped us, gave us recommendations and arranged the best trip for us. Also during the trip they were very fast with making last-minute changes or solving things.
The most important thing during the safari is your guide. We were very nervous to meet our guide, because you're gonna spend a few days with them and also since we are two girls traveling alone we really hoped for someone kind and safe. It's safe to say that we had the BEST guide EVER!! When we met our guide George we instantly knew that he was going to make our trip even better. George has years and years of experience and you can notice this in everything. His knowledge about animals (and spotting them), but above all: his respect and passion for nature, animals, culture and people. Someone who really has love for what he does everyday, which you can truly notice during the safari; it made our trip unforgettable.
Time flew by during our safari: we had so many fun, beautiful conversations, hours of sharing music, shared amazing dinners (he even showed us amazing local places) and lots of laughter. George took time to explain a lot about the animals and nature, waited patiently while we took thousands of pictures or when we two sisters were slow in the mornings haha. He also respected nature and the animals during game drives instead of chasing the best view; we would even say we had great karma for that. We saw the Mara riving crossing, the Great Migration, an amazing sunrise during our balloon flight and the Big Five (and also saw both the Black and White Rhino in one view, so special). So If I could recommend anything, I would recommend to ask George to be your guide!
