We spent three days in Kruger National Park and had Muzi Sibiya as our safari guide. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier, more humorous, or more professional guide! Muzi went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience and felt comfortable throughout our stay.
He is a true wildlife lover and incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and the park. Thanks to his sharp eye we were lucky enough to see almost all of the Big Five (unfortunately, no leopard!), as well as many other amazing animals that we would never have spotted on our own.
Overall, it was an incredible experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Muzi. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Kruger National Park.

Outstanding Service from Start to Finish!
I cannot recommend NextGen Safaris highly enough!
From my very first inquiry, Benald understood exactly what I was looking for and designed an itinerary that perfectly matched my interests. My dream was to experience Uganda's highlights, especially gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, and safaris, while also learning more about Uganda.
Communication was excellent from the beginning. Every email and every question was answered quickly and thoroughly, and I always felt that my trip was in good hands. Benald also provided valuable advice on flights, visas, etc., making the entire planning process easy and stress-free. His website and blog also contained a wealth of valuable information.
What impressed me the most was the level of personal attention, including redesigning the itinerary according to my wishes. My initial planned budget for this trip was lower than the first proposal, and instead of simply saying it wasn't possible, Benald carefully redesigned the itinerary, suggested great alternatives, and found a solution without sacrificing the experiences that mattered to me. Throughout the planning process, he was patient, honest, and incredibly responsive to every question I had.
Then came the time for my trip. Renatus, who is the driver and guide extraordinaire, met me at the airport. Being on the road with him really exceeded my expectations. He provided tons of information about Rwanda and Uganda, their cultures, plants, birds, and wildlife, while answering every question I had. At the same time, he always gave me enough time to simply look around during the drives, enjoy the scenery, and take everything in.
He was excellent at planning and managing every aspect of the trip and also gave some great tips before the gorilla trekking and safaris. He made the whole journey incredibly interesting and fun with his stories and wonderful sense of humor, making conversation feel effortless. Renatus definitely deserves a huge and heartfelt "thank you" from me for everything.
The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking experiences, as well as the safaris, were truly unforgettable and exceeded everything I had hoped for.
I'm also very glad I had the opportunity to experience the Bigodi community and its surroundings on guided walks with Godfrey, a local community guide from Bigodi. He truly is a treasure trove of fascinating facts and stories about the local community, wildlife, plants, and birds. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and learned so much from him. Spending time with him was one of the unexpected highlights of my trip.
After this trip, I can honestly say that NextGen Safaris truly values its guests and goes the extra mile to make their trips more than worthwhile.

Flawlessly Planned 3-Generation South Africa Safari!
Kathi planned the most epic trip to South Africa for our family, and we couldn’t be more grateful! From start to finish, we didn't have to worry about a single detail, all we had to do was show up and enjoy exploring this beautiful country. Everything was seamlessly arranged: flights, ground transportation, accommodations, tours, and incredible experiences.
Planning for a large group with an age range from grandparents down to a 5-year-old grandchild is no small task, but Kathi hit it out of the park. She managed to check off every single person’s bucket list items!
Our stays in Johannesburg and Cape Town were fantastic, super convenient to shopping and top-notch dining. But the game reserves Kathi selected truly blew us away. She chose two distinct reserves that gave us a genuine appreciation for South Africa’s diverse terrain:
Madikwe: Our 5-star private reserve and lodging were unmatched. Our safari guides were incredible, teaching us about bush plants and wildlife while delivering mind-blowing animal sightings, all with immense respect for the animals.
Kariega: The Homestead felt like our home away from home. The experience here was unforgettable, featuring both land safaris and river boat drives. Our guides gave us deep insights into the land, local culture, and crucial conservation efforts. Saying goodbye was so hard!
To top it all off, our Cape Town adventures were led by an exceptional local tour guide and driver who gave us such rich context on South Africa’s history and people.

These are people who know and love Tanzania
You will be well prepared even before you leave with the information provided by Tanzania Choice. Once you arrive, you will feel the honored guest. The lodgings are comfortable and grounds are beautiful. Meals are plentiful and food is very good. Your safari guides will be prompt, knowledgeable and very hospitable (also very protective). You can let them know the animals (including birds) you are interested in and they will find them for you. They are also knowledgeable about the local plants. Highly recommend this Tanzania Choice Safaris.

Go Makini is a reliable tour operator on the cheaper end of the scale, and Nancy is always available
We had a great experience with Go Makini. We chose a budget option, and we got exactly what we expected.
We spent 9 days in Tanzania, 6 doing Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and 3 in Arusha.
The Safari was beyond our expectations! The central Serengeti was definitely the highlight of the trip; in hindsight, we would have avoided visiting the northern part to spot the migration (July is not the best season) and we would have spent more time in the central part. Surely, Nancy (our tour operator) would have been happy to arrange this. The budget camping accomodations were spartan, but the game drives in the parks were priceless.
In Arusha, we visited the Chemka hot springs and lake Duluti, and they were both fun experiences. Maybe we could have spent only 2 days in the city instead of 3.
Our guide Elisha was a great travel companion, and we spotted all the animals with him (black rhino and turtle included).
We were pleasently surprised with the food cooked by our amazing chef side, especially his vegetable sauce and sausage.
The accomodation in Arusha (Serengeti Villa) was a nice and confortable place to rest after the Safari.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we got exactly what we expected (and maybe more) with Go Makini.

Gilbert was knowledgeable, kind, and amazing at spotting wildlife - highly recommend!
Our experience with Lion King was top notch! Ozzy and Gilbert were awesome - so friendly and knowledgeable. The jeeps were clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Lunches out on safari were delicious! They truly gave us a once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend!

Responsive tour operator with the best itinerary with experienced guide at a good value
After a lot of time and research, I narrowed it down to 5 tour operators and itineraries, but it became clear that they were all similar except Kilimanjaro Heroes, who had the best 5 day itinerary with solid all-day game drives each day. The others just drop you off at a lodge the first day (only 3 real days of game drives). Evarist the owner was also the most responsive in our communications compared with the others. They are a medium sized tour company with 15 years experience and had the better value of what you get. We also got an experienced guide with 10 years experience that is well known with the other tour guides. They all work with each other to locate pride of lions, or a leopard, and other animals to get as many animal sightings as possible, which saves a lot of time just randomly driving around looking for them. What makes a good safari is the right combination of the itinerary, the lodging, and the expertise of the guide. This to operator had the right mix of all of them!

Amazing tour!
Filex and Amiri were absolutely phenomenal! They made the entire experience enjoyable, informative, and seamless from start to finish. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five and so much more, while learning a great deal about the wildlife, the parks, and the local environment along the way. Their communication was excellent throughout the tour, and their professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the trip truly unforgettable. An unforgettable safari experience from start to finish!
We booked a 4-day, 3-night safari to Sarova Salt Lick Safari Lodge with Parabolic Safaris, and they truly exceeded our expectations. Punctuality is everything, and our guide, Isaac, went the extra mile by arriving right on time to pick us up from our house. The tour van was impeccably clean, complete with complimentary bottled water for the road.
The drive from Nairobi was smooth, with Isaac keeping us well-informed throughout the journey. Upon arrival, he maintained the highest level of professionalism, clearly outlining the game drive schedules while remaining wonderfully flexible with our pace. Our entire stay was unforgettable, and I wholeheartedly recommend Parabolic Safaris to anyone looking for a top-tier adventure.
