Well co-ordinated & organised. Very responsive.
Axis Travel was clear with communication & options. The deposit amount & then meeting them at their office in Nairobi was all smooth. Our guide Mohammed was an excellent game drive navigator. He was a wealth of knowledge of the Masaai wildlife, birds & life. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to discover the gems of Kenya. Our lodge stay in Masaai Mara Chui was also beautiful with very friendly staff. Overall a great experience.

Exceptional from start to finish
From start to finish, Wagatil were exceptional! After finding the estimated quote on safari tours, booking process was incredibly easy. Pretty was very responsive and easy to discuss the different aspects of their tour options.
Martin our guide for our private mid-range 6 day trip from Rwanda to Uganda (including gorillas, chimps, golden monkeys and game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park) was truly exceptional. His knowledge was second to none, he was able to ask any questions we had (even the random ones that had nothing to do with the itinerary) and did so will enthusiasm and a smile. He showed so much passion about all of the different species of wildlife we were tracking and also of his country, we learnt so much from him about both. Martin always went above and beyond for us, from the organisation of the excursions to ensure we had the best outcome he could provide, to running the scheduled tightly to ensure we didn’t miss out on something we would have wanted to see, and from his choices of accommodation which were always strides better than we had expected to be getting, to making stops when we needed at pharmacies, ATMs and food stores for snacks on long drives, he never once made us feel like we were being a pain. This is something we were truly appreciative of, having been on many tours with many guides, and this often not being the experience.
Overall, I can’t recommend Wagatil and specifically Martin enough. We had the trip of a lifetime and one we will never forget! We will be sharing the company’s details with anyone who wishes to come Uganda on a trip and hope to return ourselves soon!

The team was able to make the most of chaotic travel arrangements and get me where I needed to be.
After a few hiccups in my travel and missing my connection, the team was able to quickly and efficiently get me to my final destination without significant hassles. I was on a new flight in a very expeditious manner. By the time I got to my final destination , everything was set up for me to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Zanzibar. Overall great experience.

Friendly Responsive Efficient
Booked my first ever safari at the travel fair with Go Touch Down - very easy and all the follow-ups were done by phone and email. Calls were returned promptly and questions answered quickly. Overall it was a great experience and the trip exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Go Touch Down Travel for family or solo travelers on their first safari in South Africa and consider add-ons to Victoria Falls. Ask for Angie.

He generously shares his extensive experience and knowledge.
We booked our game drive in Ol Pejeta with Willy, and he arrived right on time to pick us up from our apartment.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day and were especially impressed by his extensive knowledge and experience, which he shared with genuine enthusiasm. We have been travelling around Kenya for more than a week, but today we learned more about the wildlife than during the rest of our trip combined.
We already regret not booking more game drives with him. Even so, he was kind enough to give us helpful tips for our next destination in Kenya.
Thank you, Willy, for such a wonderful day. We highly recommend him to anyone.

Famous Serengeti & Legendary Ngorongoro Crater Exploring Was Excellent.
Our group recently completed a five-day luxury safari in Tanzania, visiting the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, Kaka welcomed us very warmly.
The Serengeti was teeming with wildlife, and our experienced guide helped us spot animals that we would have easily missed on our own. Seeing elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and countless antelopes roaming freely was an unforgettable experience. The highlight for all of us was descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, where we were amazed by the incredible concentration of animals in such a beautiful setting. This safari was more than just sightseeing; it was an opportunity to connect with nature, share incredible moments with friends, and create memories that will remain forever.

They get the job done!
Julius was, without question, one of the absolute highlights of our Masai Mara trip.
His years of experience shone through in every decision he made. From perfectly timed game drives to exceptional judgment on where to position the vehicle for the best views and photographs, we always felt we were in the safest pair of hands behind the wheel, even on the toughest terrain.
When it came to spotting wildlife, Julius was nothing short of incredible. He seemed to know exactly where to find the Big Five and somehow always managed to get us the best angles without disturbing the animals. Time and again, we found ourselves with front row seats to unforgettable moments.
Beyond being an exceptional guide, Julius has a larger than life personality. His charisma is infectious, and it genuinely felt like he knew everyone we crossed paths with. I would not be surprised if there was not a soul in Kenya who did not know Julius.
And then there is his sense of humor. Hands down, he is one of the funniest people I have ever met. He had us laughing throughout the trip and made every drive memorable, even between sightings.
We came to the Masai Mara expecting to miss the lions when we left, but truthfully, we are going to miss Julius even more. If you are lucky enough to have him as your guide, your safari is already off to an incredible start.

Fantastic Experience With Moonlight Safaris
My wife and I did a 10 day private mobile camping safari with Moonlight. Bogosi picked us up at the Maun Airport and took us straight to Makgadikgadi in the Kalahari. His team (Alpha, George and Jiga) had the camp already set up for us. From there we doubled back through Maun to the Mababe Depression, the Savuti Reserve, Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls, and a Rhino park just outside Livingston. The Moonlight team would pack up the camp, drive to the next site, and set it up while Bogosi took us on game drives. It was all very convenient and well managed. The pre-trip communications were very professional with prompt replies from Bogosi or his daughter Amanda, who runs the office.
I am not much of an outdoors type so I was a bit skeptical about how all of this camping would work (my preference had been to stay at a lodge) but my wife really wanted to do this so I went along with it. And I have to say it was way nicer than I had expected: the bedding was quite comfortable, the tent and private bath were roomy, Jiga cooked great meals, there was a Starlink internet connection, the Landcruiser had big fridge and power points to charge our gear, everything was clean and in working order. And the payoff was spectacular - staying at camps deep in the wilderness meant we literally started animal watching within minutes of starting our drives. It also meant watching the sunrise at various watering holes while folks back at the lodges were just getting out of bed.
We saw a ton of wildlife and Bogosi seemed to know the best timing and places to be to see it all. He is especially knowledgeable with regards to birding. It was also interesting to see him interact with guides from the other camps - they all stop to share info when they cross paths and it is very collaborative. But it was also clear that the other guides held Bogosi in high regard and were happy to pick his brain. The whole experience was just epic and of the 60 countries that I have traveled to, this has to be one of top experiences all time. Highly recommend Moonlight Safaris.
