I can’t give anything other than 5 stars to a trip that was meticulously planned from start to finish.
Uganda is full of breathtaking natural wonders to discover, and it’s no coincidence that it is known as the “Pearl of Africa.”
A special thank you goes to Ibrahim and Solomon: Ibrahim followed us from the very first day in organizing the trip, while Solomon, our guide, is a fantastic guide and an incredibly tireless driver. There are quite a few long distances to cover, but thanks to him and his great company, the many kilometres never felt like a burden.
He made sure we didn’t miss any of the wildlife encounters we had hoped for: the Big Five, chimpanzees, gorillas and, as the icing on the cake, the Shoebill!
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Dav Safaris for anyone planning a trip to Africa. They were impeccable from our very first contact right through to the last day of our journey!

We spent six unforgettable days on safari with African Mosaic Tours, and every aspect exceeded our expectations. From start to finish the trip was seamless and deeply rewarding. Our driver, Omar, deserves special recognition — his expertise, patience, and respect for the animals turned every game drive into a masterclass in wildlife viewing. He had an uncanny eye for spotting animals and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the best viewing opportunities while keeping a considerate distance and minimising disturbance.
Our itinerary took us through Tsavo East, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Taita Hills — a fantastic combination that showcased Kenya’s incredible diversity. The wildlife encounters were nothing short of spectacular: elephants roaming across the plains, majestic lions at rest and in action, a beautiful leopard sighting, and large herds of buffalo. Although we were sad not to see rhino this time, the abundance and quality of sightings more than made up for it.
The vehicles and equipment were comfortable and well maintained, and the local knowledge and professionalism of the African Mosaic team were evident at every turn. Lodges and camps were welcoming and added to the overall immersive experience.

A fantastic trip, well organized!
At the recommendation of an acquaintance, we ended up booking with Roko Safaris: and yes, they absolutely lived up to the recommendation! A major plus was being able to communicate in our own language, even in our local Limburgs dialect. The communication and service were fine. Miranda was always available for any questions or anything else we needed.
We would also like to give a huge compliment to our driver and guide, Ole, as well as our chef, Mohamed. Thanks to them, we had nine fantastic days on safari. Our trip was the perfect combination of culture, nature, and wildlife.
As for the price-quality ratio: when we first started looking online for trips to Africa, we were shocked by the prices. But as soon as we started talking to Miranda, we quickly got over that shock: a realistic price, it really is possible!
Oh, and if you do book a trip through Roko Safaris, make sure to spend a few nights at their accommodation, Maasai Guesthouse, near Lake Natron as well. It’s beautiful!

The experience I had was something I wouldn’t have expected. We saw beautiful landscapes and every animal, also due to luck, but mainly because of the fantastic drivers we had, Nick and Koshal, who made our experience even more memorable and enjoyable with their explanations about the wild life.

Availability, fast response time and problem solving
I organized this memorable safari with Duncan; from the very first moment, he has been always available to propose itinerary, provide suggestions and find solutions when issues have arisen. During our six days trip we always felt assisted by Duncan and all the “promises” agreed in our trip plan were kept. During our games drive at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli we’ve been guided in a professional but very warm and friendly way by the two Masai Nick and Koshal, who gave us the chance to spot all the big five and more, explain the Masai colture and drove long hours always with smile. Great experience!

Overivew: This is tour satisfied our all request
Tour in safari: we target to see animals as many as possible since this is the first time here, our guide Joshua did a great job, we saw big five, ugly five and some animals we were instead in.
Arrangement: we start from Anboseli to Naiwasha, Nakuru, at least Masai Mara, the arrangement is good for animal watching and very flexible. Our agent Jeal is considerable and easy to communicate.
Hotel: we stay in 5 hotels this time, the overall experience: nakuru sopa, ol tukai, muthu resort, enkorok camp and mara sopa lodge, among these muthu and nakuru sopa dont have hot water in evening, the facility and environment are good, mara sopa service is not as good as expected. Food is all okay. satisfied.
