Gorillas, Crocs, Hippos and More!
5/5

had an exceptional experience with Lion Safaris of Kigali, Rwanda, from my initial online booking through my final airport drop-off.
The owner, Emile, and my multi-day guide, Danny, both have extensive backgrounds in wildlife, professional guiding, and ecotourism. Before Lion Safaris, both worked at Akagera National Park as registered wildlife guides or rangers, and that depth of experience was evident throughout my trip.
I booked everything online, and Emile was responsive, communicative, and professional from the beginning. Pricing was transparent, and after experiencing the trip, I felt it was absolutely worth it.
My package included a gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park, followed by 2.5 days in Akagera National Park. Transportation and logistics were handled seamlessly, but what really distinguished the experience was the amount of knowledge shared along the way—not only about wildlife, but also about Rwanda's history, culture, communities, and conservation efforts.
At Akagera, I had the opportunity to see the Big Five and so much more. My stay at the beautiful eco-focused Ruzizi Tented Lodge was another highlight, with fantastic service and food. I experienced both day and night game drives, as well as a boat safari on Lake Ihema, where I saw an incredible variety of birds, crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife.
My trip concluded with a seamless airport drop-off. I was so impressed with both Lion Safaris and Rwanda that I am already considering returning, this time with a greater focus on the country's birdlife and aquatic wildlife.
I also appreciated that so much of what Lion Safaris does is connected to conservation, ecotourism, and local community development. This wasn't simply a safari—it gave me a much deeper appreciation for Rwanda, its wildlife, its people, and the extraordinary work being done to protect both.
Professional, knowledgeable, transparent, and genuinely worth it. I would absolutely book with Lion Safaris again.

An Unforgettable African Safari by an incredible agency
5/5

In August, 2026, we did one 8-night/9-day African Safari adventure as a group of six with Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. The trip began as a long-held dream to see the Big Five in African (not in the Zoo) turned out 9 days of natural beauty, exciting, breathtaking and heart-pounding experience one could never forget. All people of Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club are incredible and exceeded every expectation we hoped from booking the trip to helping us to obtain delayed luggage, to see all the legendary Big Five, to catch the Great Migration, to spot the hunting of Cheetah to antelope. We started a classic route through Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve (2 nights), Tanzania’s Northern Serengeti National Park (2 nights), Central Serengeti National Park (2 nights), Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park (1 night).
For Kenya’s Maasai Mara part, Mr. William Githieya was our guide and driver, and he is truly an experienced, knowledgeable, and veteran guide. Not only did he help us see four of the Big Five—lion, buffalo, elephant, and leopard (you cannot find rhinos in the Masai Mara), he also advised us to be patient and wait to see a sleeping leopard and a resting cheetah wake up and walk around. William was very nice to accommodate our every request for frequent stops, going back and forth to get a good angle for photographs. Also at the last day at Kenya and right before driving to Tanzania border William and his partner drove us to local air strip, waited for small airplane and carried the delayed luggage. We are also very grateful that Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club people in Nairobi constantly contacted the airline to track our two missing luggage.
For Tanzania’s Serengeti part, Sifuni and Gerson were our guides and drivers. I was in Sifuni’s vehicle for all trip. Sifuni has 20 years experience in Safari adventure and I believe it is true because on the last day in Serengeti North before driving to Serengeti Central, Sifuni drove on one not so popular route which we saw 2 lion moms with 4 cubs and one mom was hunting a zebra partially as view was blocking by small rock mountains. Sifuni also made an incredible fast driving to rush to the river bank for the great migration which happened on Saturday after no crossing was observed the whole week. We are very lucky to see a part of the first group and the whole crossing of the second group of both wild beasts and Zebras. The third group stayed at river bank and went back to grass plain.
We also saw a Cheetah hunt antelope at Serengeti Central and the scene only lasted about
3-4 seconds without any time to grab phone. Overall this African Safari adventure is incredible, overwhelming and unforgettable, so are all people in Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club.
While luck is playing a critical role to decide if you can see the most hard part: leopard, great migration and lion and Cheetah’s hunting, a great guide and driver with patience and Knowledge can certainly increase your chance to see. Both William and Sifuni helped us to see all. Personally I strongly recommend William and Sifuni at Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club.
A few small suggestions:
1. As visitors are not allowed to go out all the trip except toilet time at the back of the car, it is strongly suggested not book full 6 people in one vehicle, ideally 3 – 4 people. You will have more space for your luggage as well as more room to take photos of yourself. There are many vehicles only with two people.
2. Bring as many as US$1 bill for tip, you are not allowed to walk alone during dark at any camp and there is always someone accompanying you to everywhere. Also these people may carry your luggage for a long walk to your room at camps.
3. If you like photograph, try to find a patient and willing guide/driver so you can get satisfying position since you are not allowed to get out the car and walk around to select you own angle.
4. If you are crazy about the great migration at Mara River, you may schedule 3 night stay at Serengeti North to increase your chance and remove one night at Tarangire National park as we did not see anything new.

What a breathtaking journey across Tanzania! Suricata Safaris handled every detail with care, making the whole trip stress free. We loved winding down at Suricata Lodge after our daily adventures. Jeremy was such an amazing guide—incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always welcoming. We saw incredible wildlife sights every day and felt totally looked after throughout the drive.

We booked with Mara Wanderlust to Amboseli during August School Holiday. Our kids wanted to see Mount Kilimanjaro and I can say it was a great experience. The driver guide was kind and a good storyteller. Our kids were not bored at all.

Excellent safari experience
5/5

We have booked our safari with Kenya Bush track safari half year in advance. Manager Maureen gave good advices how to plan our trip in better way, responded very quickly and was in touch all the time. We were met in the airport by Maureen and our driver Mosas, we stayed overnight in Nairobi and next day our safari started for 4 days. Everything was organized very well, precise, we were filling safe and that Maureen and Mosas are taking good care of us.
Mosas was amazing driver-guide, we unlocked big 5 quite quickly, got the best spots for pictures and videos. During the long drives between parks, we were entertained with facts about country and got a lot of interesting information.
Our places for nights, recommended by Maureen, were really fancy, with good location, we loved them.
So, definetly, recommending this company for safari trips. They are having individual approach and caring of customers a lot.

An Amazing African Adventure
5/5

An Amazing African Adventure

Our 10-day holiday in Uganda and Rwanda was an overall extraordinary experience. The trip offered an ideal combination of exciting safari drives, beautiful scenery, fascinating boat trips, and unforgettable encounters with chimpanzees and mountain gorillas.

Wild Uganda arranged everything exceptionally well. Ernest put together a thoughtful and well-balanced itinerary, ensuring that we experienced the highlights of both countries without ever feeling rushed. Murchison Falls, the Nile cruise, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the Kazinga Channel each provided wonderful and varied wildlife experiences. Seeing the Big Five was a particular highlight, but the elephants, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and countless birds made every excursion memorable.

The chimpanzee and gorilla treks were undoubtedly among the most meaningful experiences of our lives. Exploring Volcanoes National Park and meeting the gorillas in their natural habitat was a privilege we will never forget.

Our guide, Shafik Topkins, played a major role in making the journey so enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable, dependable, considerate, and patient. His calm nature and careful attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully appreciate every moment.

We are very grateful to Ernest, Shafik, and the entire Wild Uganda team for an outstanding holiday. We would gladly recommend their services to anyone looking for a well-organised safari and primate adventure in Uganda and Rwanda.

Absolutely wonderful!
5/5

Thank you so much to Shirley for arranging my 11-day Safari trip in Kenya and Tanzania!
From the very beginning, Shirley was very quick and helpful with communication and planning. The itinerary and price were both well suited to what I was looking for, and whenever I had any questions or concerns, she was always willing to help and find a solution.
Everything turned out even better than I expected.
My Kenya guide was funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He made the Safari fun and interesting, and even showed me the famous water experiment at the Equator. Most importantly, I always felt safe during the trip, from going out to returning home.
But Tanzania was beyond my expectations! The experience was so amazing that it is hard to describe in words. Having a whole villa and swimming pool all to myself was such a special and unforgettable experience. And of course, the Safari itself was absolutely wonderful!
This was truly a trip I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you, Shirley, for making my Kenya and Tanzania journey so special. I really appreciate all your help and wonderful arrangements!
