Great day out near Johannesburg, saw lots of animals, great vistas and good guide and host Tshiamo
Great day out with Tshiamo, he was a good host to what was a spectacular nature reserve. We saw a good number of the animals, including very close, even Lions next to the road, though they were lazy and wouldn't get out of the long grass.
Transport from Johannesburg and back and the lunch was all really good. Price tag is not small, but I thought it was worth it for the whole day

We organized a 4 days safari in Northern Tanzania with them. They're flexible and precise in communicating and organizing the trip and payments, and our guide/driver Brian and Issa were kind, precise, available and patient, and really appreciated by our family group. We absolutely reccomend Kibo Mawenzi Safaris, if I could rate a 6 stars, I would have given them!

We did a 2-day/1-night safari in Nyerere National Park and honestly… what can I say? It was an experience we will never forget!
We absolutely fell in love with our guide, William. He taught us so much and was such a kind, attentive and caring person. I really recommend asking for William as your guide if you can, you definitely won’t regret it!
As for the safari itself… WOW! It was an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, countless different species of birds, monkeys everywhere we looked, and so much more…
Honestly, just go for it! One of the biggest advantages of Nyerere is that it is such a huge park (the largest in Tanzania), so you can sometimes find yourself completely alone in the middle of nature, surrounded only by animals and the incredible peace and quiet. That really makes the experience even more special!
We had an intense full-day safari from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the second day, we woke up at dawn to go on a boat safari. We were lucky enough to watch the sunrise in the middle of the river, the largest river in East Africa. We were completely alone out there, with an amazing guide who was driving the boat. We got to see hippos, crocodiles and some absolutely beautiful birds. It was a wonderful experience!
After that, we headed back to Dar es Salaam, which was about a 4-hour drive. It was another great opportunity to immerse ourselves in the country, with breathtaking landscapes along the way.
And finally, a huge highlight for us was the lodge where we stayed: Mloka Safari Lodge. The place is incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast… honestly, I will never forget their pancakes! 😂
The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always smiling. Staying there was a real pleasure.
So honestly, GO FOR IT — you absolutely won’t regret it, I promise! And if you have the opportunity to have William as your guide, even better. His kindness, patience and genuine care made the whole experience even more incredible. ❤️

Great 12 day safari from Zimbabwe to Botswana
A big thank you to Tatenda, Brighton, Shelton, Simon and all at Cuckoo safaris for our amazing 12 day safari across Zimbabwe and Botswana. It was a bit daunting having to choose which safari company to use from the other side of the planet many months ago but it was great. We have no regrets and the positive reviews of Cuckoo safaris are justified.
They are a medium sized local operator in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe which pride themselves on offering quality safaris and really good customer service at a reasonable price point. Everything went well with our logistics, accommodation and all the many various game drive guides across Victoria Falls, Hwange, Chobe, Elephant Sands, Planet Baobab and Okavango delta. They packaged together all the various elements, tours, drivers very well and it always felt safe. We saw the big 5 many times over and had fantastic animal encounters with the different guides at each national park. I would recommend this company.
My suggestions for improvements are 1) their communication could have been more proactive and detailed at the start of the safari (I had to ask several times for the name of the driver meeting us at Vic Falls airport) but this improved during the safari 2) it would have been good to have been informed / reminded that all families need copies of the birth certificates for children under 18 when crossing the border between Zimbabwe and Botswana and 3) one of the accommodation hotels changed between the initial itinerary and the final confirmation but to be fair we could have spotted this earlier and it was not a problem as the alternative hotel in Maun was very good. So thanks again to Tatenda and all at Cuckoo safaris and keep up the good work.

Great experience with Amazing Memories Safaris
I started to plan the 10 days Kenya safari trip for our group of 16 friends and families more than a year ago. I started with my own itinerary and hotel choices and contacted different companies. Amazing Memories was the one I picked up from comparing prices, size of the company and reviews, etc. It was not the cheapest. Titus, the representative of the company made me felt comfortable to communicate. He responded to our questions fast and with patience to explain everything. We had 4 large Land Cruisers with 4 people in each car which made us more comfortable for long day safari and driving from one park to another. Our tour guide Gorge, Simon, Joseph and Robert did their best to find animals we loved to see and looking for Great migration. We saw almost all things we wanted to see except black rhinoceros. I was in the car with Simon. He constantly communicated with other drivers on walky-talkies and cell phone to search animals and usually found good spots to look at them. He also rescued another car from different company during safari in Maasai Mara. Gorge was knowledgeable and very caring. More than half of us had food poisoning from one of Sopa Lodge. He asked us if we needed go to hospital and after we said no, he divided our group into two parts. He drove sick persons to the next hotel and rest of the group continued their journey and safari. Robert has really good eyes to spot animals and our adult children were in the car with Joseph and they loved him. We are very satisfied with our trip with our four tour guides and Amazing Memories. Highly recommend them.

They promise the big 5 (we missed rino)
Sammy promised that he would have done everything he could do to see the big 5, Unfortunatly due to traffic jam we could not visit the rino sanctuary included into program 😡… that said the rest of safari was really amazing.
The first 2 lodges where impressing with animals just feeding in front of our rooms … The last one instead there is room to improve from the rooms to the food … and yes with Wi-Fi because when you are away and there is no connection available is not a great things (no tour operator didn’t gave us the promise mobile that we could had used during the safari 🤔)
