Claire was quite simply wonderful from start to finish. She took the time to understand our requirements, made great recommendations and was super amenable to making changes when we wanted to tweak things. She was a pleasure to deal with at every turn. Communication was so easy and she was always responsive. The trip she helped us put together was absolutely the trip of a lifetime. Until we did it and now we can’t wait to do another one. She was so great at the personal touches and even checked in with us along the way to make sure it was all going to plan. My husband and I booked our elopement/honeymoon with Lion King Adventures for our safari and we had an amazing time! Communication prior to the travel was super easy (even with a significant time they were so responsive!) we got all our questions asked and felt super comfortable and excited to embark on our trip. We had mentioned wanting to add in a specific elopement ceremony and they were super accommodating and really exceeded our expectations. Very reliable, supportive, minimized stress, and made our long journey to Tanzania so easy!

Honestly, the best
Cant recommend enough. Firstly, Uganda is unreal. It was the perfect safari trip where we saw the big five, but also had loads of major bucket list tickets on top like chimp, rhino and gorilla trekking.
It wasnt your typical 5 day game drive. We also got to do river safari tours down the Nile where we got up close to hippos. Walking safaris where we went up close to rhinos and giraffes. And then the main event of trekking through the rainforest to see chimps and gorillas, which was unreal. There were loads of them, all playing on the floor.
Wild Uganda organised everything like clockwork. Super easy and really knowledgeable. Our guide Derick was the nicest guide and made the whole trip so fun and special for us. Took us on night game drives, found loads of animals and was super helpful. I’d ask for him personally if i was coming again. Great guy and really fun to travel with.
We just got back from Tanzania and this was way better. So much variety, instead of just being stuck in a truck. Really enjoyed and would definitely recommend to others.

Probably the best Safari we have ever done and most of that was down to Derrick our driver!
It’s honestly difficult to put into words just how amazing our trip to Uganda was, and a huge part of that is down to our incredible driver and guide, Derrick.
From the very first day, Derrick went above and beyond to make sure we had the most unforgettable experience possible. He wasn’t just our driver — he was our guide, wildlife expert, problem solver and, by the end of the trip, a friend.
We had some absolutely incredible wildlife encounters during our trip. We trekked to see mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, which were both completely unforgettable experiences. But one of the biggest highlights was when Derrick helped us find a leopard — something we were desperate to see! His knowledge, patience and determination made such a difference, and finding that leopard was a moment we’ll never forget.
There were also so many unexpected and magical moments that Derrick helped make possible. At Nile Safari Lodge, we somehow ended up having the entire hotel to ourselves, which made the experience feel incredibly special. Derrick also organised a private bush BBQ dinner right beside the River Nile, which was honestly one of the most amazing and memorable evenings of our entire trip.
And then there was the elephant… 🐘😂
While staying in Queen Elizabeth National Park, an elephant wandered over to the lodge and came down to drink from the swimming pool. We were so ridiculously excited that we literally jumped into the pool in our shorts to get closer and see him! 🤣 It was one of those completely surreal wildlife moments that you couldn’t plan if you tried.
What really stood out about Derrick was how much he genuinely cared about making our trip special. He listened to what we wanted to see, knew where to go, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and always seemed to be thinking one step ahead. He was also great company throughout the whole trip, and his calm, friendly personality made us feel completely comfortable and looked after.
We came to Uganda hoping for an incredible safari, but we left with memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
If you are booking a Uganda trip, ask for Derrick. Seriously. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He made an already amazing country and itinerary into something truly unforgettable.

Great communication and perfect guide (Ringo)!
I originally requested different quotes and Nkollo tour came back with competitive pricing and what I realy appreciated, different accommodation options in each location within the budget range we specified. When I enquired about the pros and cons of different lodges, I got quick useful info back and the booking process was very straightforward.
As it was our first safari and was travelling with my 11 year old daughter, I was a bit worried if all going to be ok, but it was!! All so well organised and smooth!!
And than the safari...our guide, Ringo was a star!! Made sure we have all what we need in the car from snacks to drinks etc. ( my daughter got nut free snack packed as she is allergic)!
He checked what animals we are excited to see and made sure we spent lots of times with them ( a lot with hippos for my daughter!!:))
Gave interesting information, took us away from the crowd ( being high season in August) so we could experience lion/ hiena hunt by ourselves.
We saw everything we wanted and more!
Accommodation everywhere were very comfortable and high standard. Very good food!! Even the packed lunch was nice cooked meal.
We thought this safari will be a one of a lifetime experience...but we are already thinking about when we could return!!:)))
