The best safari we made
After three safaris, I can honestly say that our experience with Luxus in Africa was the best one we’ve had.
Obby took the time to understand exactly what we wanted from the trip and built the itinerary around our expectations. We chose a private safari, and I had a very specific idea of the kind of experience I was looking for. Everything was adapted to that, which made a huge difference.
Our guide, Alfred, was excellent. He knew the environment extremely well, but also understood animal behavior, which allowed us to observe wildlife in the best possible conditions while always respecting the animals and their space. I really appreciated his approach: patient, ethical, respectful of nature, and never focused on disturbing an animal just to get closer.
As photography was an important part of the trip for me, Alfred also paid attention to positioning the vehicle as well as possible whenever he could, taking the light, the angle and the animals’ movements into account so I could get better photographs. That was something I really valued.
We also travelled with Soka, and we had such a good time with him. We laughed a lot throughout the trip, and the whole team made the experience feel both professional and genuinely enjoyable.
We came back extremely happy with everything we experienced. If I ever return for another safari, I would absolutely travel with Luxus in Africa again.

Our group had so much fun seeing all the animals on the game reserves and we were taken to amazing restaurants full of culture. Fantastic tour with a lot of animals
We had an absolutely amazing five-day safari with Suricata Safaris and our guide, Jeremy. The whole experience was truly impressive, and we were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of animals — including all of the Big Five!
Jeremy was always very committed to finding animals for us and went above and beyond to make the safari special. Thanks to his many years of experience and excellent knowledge, he knew exactly where to look, how to approach the animals, and how we should behave around them. He was extremely professional throughout the entire trip.
Of course, you spend a lot of time on the road, so you should be prepared for dusty conditions, hot temperatures, and some very bumpy roads. But honestly, it is absolutely worth it!
The accommodations were very good, with delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. One of the highlights was definitely spending a night at the bush camp, which made the experience feel even more authentic and adventurous.
Being able to observe so many wild animals from such a close distance was an unforgettable experience. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire safari.
Looking back, we also think that a three-day safari would have been enough to have an amazing experience. If you are short on time, we would recommend focusing on the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. In our opinion, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park could be left out if you prefer a shorter trip. This would give you more time to enjoy the highlights without spending quite as much time on the road.

We had an absolutely amazing 2-day safari in Tanzania! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations.
The landscapes were absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to see so many animals throughout the safari. It was truly an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania.
The lodges where we stayed were also fantastic, very comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly chosen for the safari. The whole organization was smooth and professional, so we could simply relax and enjoy every moment.
