Incredibly knowledgeable, fun & personable. Went above & beyond to make sure our experience amazing
5/5

When booking an African safari it can get so daunting with all the options. Wild Horizon Safari was an amazing choice, I highly recommend! They are reliable, personable, so knowledgeable and truly went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure we had an amazing trip, I could not recommend them enough!!

Disappointing organization and poor communication; agreed arrangements were not respected.
1/5

Unfortunately, our experience with Meru Slopes was disappointing. Despite this being a private safari, the timings we had previously agreed on were not followed. More importantly, on our first night we were taken to a completely different accommodation from the lodge we had confirmed. Instead, we were placed in a very isolated tented camp where we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. We clearly said we did not want to stay there, but were told there were no other options.

Our guide was excellent and we were very happy with him, so our concerns are specifically about the tour consultant and the organization. For a private safari, we expected much better communication, attention to detail, and respect for the arrangements we had agreed upon in advance.

With Elias & Frida, the safari was perfect—complete with great explanations, photos, and a cheerful
5/5

Our safari with Elias & Frida was a truly special experience—one we won’t soon forget.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly friendly, warm, and full of good cheer.
They shared so much information about the animals and nature with genuine enthusiasm.

We had a fantastic time together and shared plenty of laughs.

Elias & Frida knew exactly where to find lions, elephants, zebras, and many other animals.
They dedicated plenty of time to us and even took beautiful photos—a wonderful memento of this special day.

Another highlight was the delicious lunch served right out in the savanna, surrounded by nature. The food was truly tasty and made for a lovely break during our safari.

Thank you, Elias & Frida, for a fantastic day, your warmth, and so many wonderful memories! We would happily go on safari with you again anytime and wholeheartedly recommend you to others.

Incredibly knowledgeable and kind as well as organized and perfectly planned
5/5

Incredible experience, which would have been impossible without our gracious guide Raphael! He was very flexible with us but also pushed us when we needed because his goal was for us to have the best experience and did not want us to miss out! Bottom line: listen to your guide, they know what time to go and where to go! My friend and I booked this relatively last minute and Titus was amazing and get us booked for great lodges.

Ozon goes above and beyond
5/5

Our safari experience with Ozon was fantastic. From walking us through booking to answering our million questions to sorting out a dinner mixup, the communication and attentiveness was impeccable. Our safari guides, Dennis and Augustine were phenomenal. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible, and their knowledge was like an overflowing fountain. Dennis was able to find and identify so many different species of bird and butterflies based on memory alone, and for the birders in our group it made the trip even more spectacular. Our accommodations and meals were great even the tented lodges were better than your average hotel in the states. During our stay in a tented lodge in Serengeti, we even had lion cubs take the seat cushions from our outdoor seats and rip them all up. Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro were all spectacular each with their own unique identities. Lake Manyara may not be for everyone, but we personally enjoyed it. Our hike of Kilamanjaro with Juma and Kila was a great capstone to our trip, and a good option for those looking for alternatives to zanzibar. Overall, the experience with both Ozon and the beauty of Tanzania was magnificent.

An unforgettable experience with a hardworking team
5/5

I can’t say enough good things about Serengeti Sunrise Safari. They were absolutely remarkable and provided such a fantastic Safari experience. From beginning to end Didas was there to answer all my questions, take all of my calls and respond to all of my messages. I handled a group of 14 travelers and there were a lot of needs and a lot of questions. Didas answered everything adequately and in a timely manner. His team of drivers were so lovely, so kind and really great guides for us throughout our safari experience. Kevin, Augustine and Ali gave us great views, we got to see some incredible animals - hippos, lions, elephants, zebras and so much more. We really got to see the fullness of the Serengeti and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I highly recommend Serengeti Sunrise Safari to anyone who's looking to plan a Serengeti Safari experience you will not be disappointed.

Perfect
5/5

It was a very successful trip with Kalanga Travel. They easily and excellently selected our dietary plan, and the accommodation arranged by our representative was absolutely wonderful, beautiful, and comfortable. As for our excellent guide and specialist John ( shoes) did a fantastic job organizing our trip to the wonderful Kruger. We returned home extremely happy and delighted, It should be included in travel plans for families with children especially with a company like Kalanga.

Wonderful experience!
5/5

We went for a 6 days Safari to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. It was a fantastic experience and even better than I imagined. It was a long way between the 3 sites, another time we would rather do Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru alone to avoid the long rides. We got to see so much of Africa’s fauna. John Mwangi Was our guide, he was very friendly, service minded and told us many interesting things along the way, always calm and patient. The car was clean.

Agile and hard working
5/5

We used Tourgy Tourz for a two week trip to Kruger, Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls, and Chobe. Several other agencies were not interested in helping due to our short notice (less than one month) booking. However, Emmah went into action answering numerous questions and offering plentiful clarifications. Her recommendations and bookings were top tier especially with such short notice. Despite our last minute, and rather dynamic ideas, she was able to arrange every thing we needed and it went off without a hitch. I’d highly recommend flying into Skukuza (SZK) as the airport is actually inside Kruger National Park. Our guide picked us up from the airport and we went right into a safari drive! Why go to the hotel and drop bags when you can’t even check in yet? Much better to simply hit the park. Any time we had a question or concern she would answer quickly or come up with a wonderful resolution.

The pace the guides set for Kruger and the Panorama Route were perfect. Her coordination for transfers between parks, airports, and lodging combined with her handling of external logistics to her contacts in Zimbabwe and Botswana truly made our 7th anniversary trip a seamless and wonderful experience.
