Nyiko was an excellent driver, good to chat to, and made the transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger a pleasant one. All schedules were met without issue, and a pickup to and from our accomodation was arranged.

My partner's and my experience with Safarilink was great. Our driver from and to Johannesburg, Nyiko, was very friendly and nice. He's an excellent driver too.
We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation, which was a big plus.

Perfect 7 day safari with a wonderful company
I was lucky enough to experience the Serengeti on an all expenses paid 5 star work trip back in 2024. This inspired me to take my family.
But when we started lookng at all the options and budgets it all became quite daunting. Then we found Making Memories!
As soon as we spoke to Ally it all started to become so easy and friendly. We quickly felt that we could trust him and his advice. He tailored the schedule and the budget to our needs perfectly.
We arrived and stayed at his lodge Roots & River in Arusha where we received a very warm, fun and friendly welcome from our guide Josef and chef Mr Delicious!
The lodge is lovely quiet place to relax before and after the epic safari adventure.
And the food prepared by Mr Delicious is super tasty!
We spent 7 days exploring all the national parks in the area. The best was 3 days in the Serengeti! 7 days in the 4x4 with our excellent guide and companion Josef. His experience, kindness and knowledge made this trip even more magical. And we had many laughs with him too. All the time feeling very safe and welcome.
Another good point when deaking directly with a local company is the price is much more competitive.
Making Memories in Africa are a truly professional, kind and warm hearted team who are fully comitted to making your stay in Tanzania a wonderful experience.
We are already making plans to visit again.

An Unforgettable Safari With an Exceptional Guide
We had an amazing 5-day safari through Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
Everything was well organized from start to finish, but what really made the trip special was our guide. He was absolutely outstanding — professional, friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the areas we visited. He genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience rather than simply following an itinerary.
During the game drives, he always seemed to know where to go and made a real effort to help us see as much wildlife as possible. He explained the animals, their behavior and the surroundings in a way that made the safari much more interesting. He was also a very good driver, which matters a lot when you’re spending several days and many hours on the road.
What impressed me most was his attitude throughout the entire trip. He was always positive, accommodating and willing to go the extra mile for us. We never felt rushed, and he made the five days feel like an adventure with a friend rather than just a guided tour.
Masai Mara was incredible, and Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru each brought something different to the experience. Overall, the trip was excellent value and created memories I will keep for a long time.
I would absolutely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, and especially our guide. If I return to Kenya for another safari, I would genuinely want to travel with him again. 10/10 experience.

Five Incredible Days and a Guide Who Made the Trip
Axis support team were very incredible, helpful and making booking easy,
We spent five days exploring Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru with Axis Africa, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya.
The safari was very well organized, communication was easy, and everything went smoothly throughout the five days. Each destination had something different to offer, but Masai Mara was definitely unforgettable.
A huge part of why we enjoyed the trip so much was our guide. He was exceptional from the first day until the last. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great experience.
He put a lot of effort into every game drive, constantly looking for wildlife and taking us to the best possible spots. His knowledge of the animals and the parks was impressive, and he was always happy to answer our questions. You could tell that he wasn’t simply doing his job — he actually wanted us to experience the best of Kenya.
We also spent many hours driving together over the five days, and his personality made a huge difference. He was easygoing, funny and patient, and by the end of the safari it felt more like we had been traveling with a friend than just a tour guide.
The whole experience was worth it, but our guide is what turned a very good safari into an unforgettable one. I would happily book with Axis Africa again, and if I had the choice, I would specifically ask for the same guide.

Excelent
I had an amazing three day safari with John. He was always punctual, cheerful, attentive, and an incredibly careful driver. His knowledge of wildlife is impressive, and you can really tell how much he loves and respects the animals and his work.
Throughout the safari, he made a real effort to find the best spots and give us as many opportunities as possible to see different animals. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five! He explained so much about the wildlife, shared stories with us, and guided us throughout the entire experience.
John is also such a fun and friendly person. We laughed a lot, and we even ended up making a TikTok and dancing together! 😂 I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely recommend him to anyone going on safari.

It was a wonderful, well-organized adventure
Tai Adventures handled the organization of our safari, including all transport and amenities. They placed us in the care of our guide, Jackson—a fantastic, young, and energetic guide who ensured we had an amazing safari experience. The only downside was the lack of communication regarding the itinerary during the trip. One thing worth noting: the roads in Kenya are like a rollercoaster!

Great Experience!
The communication was really good, both with the organizer and with the driver throughout the whole Safari.
The schedule was clear, but open for flexible requests.
We felt well taken care of.
Sleeping in the tent was comfortable and brought exceptional experience (elephants or girrafes visitting us nearby!).
100% recommended!
PS. The only thing that could be a plus, there could be more stories / interesting facts from the guide, about the animals that we were seeing.
