Very kind and helpful
Overall, my 6-day safari in Kenya was an incredible, bucket-list experience. Seeing animals in their natural habitat was simply breathtaking, and I truly enjoyed the trip despite a couple of minor setbacks.
First and foremost, I want to give a special mention to the tour operator agent who handled my trip preparation. She was exceptionally kind, responsive, and supportive from day one. Every question I had before traveling was answered promptly, and she even checked in on me via message during the tour to ensure everything was going well. Excellent customer service!
The tour itself was super interesting, but there are two main areas where the agency could improve:
The Packed Box Lunches: While breakfasts and dinners at the camps and hotels were great, the packed lunch boxes provided for full-day game drives were very disappointing. Out of 4 days, we only received 2 repeating options. The main items lacked quality: the sandwiches were mostly bread with butter, a thin slice of tomato, cucumber, and a tiny piece of cold cut (or no meat at all in the second variation), paired with very dry chicken. While it came with juice, fruit, and yogurt, the main lunch portion was poor for long days out in the wild.
Vehicle Capacity & Comfort: For the first 3 days, we had 6 people in a 10-seater vehicle, which was very comfortable. However, for the last 3 days, the vehicle was packed to its full 10-person capacity. Driving for 6+ hours in August heat without air conditioning, stuck in a tight space where you cannot stretch your legs, made the long transfers very exhausting. I strongly recommend capping these long-haul vehicles at 6–7 passengers for customer comfort.
Note for future travelers: If I could tweak the itinerary, I would skip Amboseli and add an extra day in the Masai Mara instead, as the long drive to Amboseli didn't feel entirely worth it compared to the Mara.
At the end of the day, these were minor drawbacks that did not take away from an otherwise spectacular journey. I still recommend this experience and this company tour!

Unforgettable safaris and wonderful wildlife!
Our experience with Giant Holiday Safaris was wonderful. We participated in beautiful safaris and saw a great variety of animals from very close by, while always feeling completely safe. Wonderful Safari with an Excellent Guide
I had a wonderful safari experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris. Everything was well organised, and the communication throughout the trip was smooth and reliable.
A special thanks to our guide, Jumbe. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. He was always patient and made a real effort to help us spot wildlife, while also giving us enough time to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
The whole safari was comfortable, enjoyable and well planned. I really appreciated Jumbe’s help and enthusiasm throughout the trip. Overall, it was a great experience and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris and Jumbe to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Daniel made our Tanzania safari an unforgettable experience! From the moment we met, his warm and caring personality and deep knowledge of the area and wildlife parks and camps we visited put us at ease. He always gave clear instructions for departure times, and what we should expect to see each day. We had a bucket list of things to see and do and Daniel meet our expectations 100% - how lucky were we !!
Your love of your country is genuine and contagious and it was a privilege to experience it through your sharp and observant eyes which spotted wildlife we never would have seen and he was always able to answer our questions and elaborate on animal behaviors and local history. Daniel always made sure our comfort and safety came first in the vehicle. An experience you’ll never forget
This experience had been on my bucket list for such a long time, and we wanted it to be absolutely perfect. Kinfolks met our expectations and more!!
It was 3 girls travelling, and we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. We absolutely loved our driver — shout out to Tom! He made us feel so comfortable, was so knowledgeable, and stayed with us throughout the entire 7 days. The car was great, and I’d definitely recommend doing a private tour as the car and driver are with you the entire time.
Also, a huge shout out to Bridget for being so accommodating and really effective with her responses. Everything went so smoothly and was extremely well organised.
I would definitely use them again!

Professional and amazing people!
An absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish! Jackson and our guide, Michael, made our safari completely unforgettable. They know the parks inside and out, their professionalism is top-tier, and they took care of absolutely every single detail for us. Our recent 8-day safari with Gosheni Tours was an absolutely phenomenal experience, thanks in large part to our exceptional guide, James.
James's profound knowledge and intuitive understanding of wildlife transformed our journey. He effortlessly navigated us through Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the vast Serengeti, consistently placing us in prime positions for incredible sightings. We were awestruck by everything from the Big Five to a rare Serval cat to the dramatic wildebeest migration crossings on the Mara River. His patience and foresight ensured we witnessed unforgettable moments, even catching crocs in action!

Perfect
Everything about this 10 day trip was perfect. The ease of booking, the value for money, the host, the animals, the scenery, Uganda as a country, the people, all of it was perfect. I don’t have one negative thing to say about the whole experience and would recommend Turkana to anybody wanting an amazing adventure.
