An experience that stays with you: my safari in Kenya
The safari I experienced in Kenya was far more than just a trip; it was a direct encounter with nature in its most authentic form. From the very first day, as I traversed the endless expanses of the savanna, I felt as though I were entering a world where time moves differently—slower, and more real.

All in Africa Safaris guided us on the best activities, helped us with approximate budgets and bookings, and arranged transportation. They delivered consistently throughout our entire time in Murchison Falls National Park. Highly recommended.

It has been a wonderful trip at a fair price. All well organized: amazing safari, all good accomodation, professional and friendly guides. The agent was always available both during the planning and during the tour.

Great Experience with Meru Slopes
5/5

In August we went on a seven-day Safari with the company Meru Slopes. We first went to Tarangire National Park, before driving to the Serengeti National Park. The last stop was the Ngorongoro Crater, before we got back to Arusha.
All in all, there is to say that it was an unforgettable experience! We got to see all the animals we wanted to and more! Our guide Francis led us safely through the rough paths of the national parks and made sure our experience was perfect. When we didn’t get to see the Mara River Crossing on the day we were supposed to, he went out of his way to ensure we tried again the next day and we actually got to see the river crossing! He did a great job and we can definitely recommend going on a Safari with him.
The lodges were also mostly flawless and the service was impeccable. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable at all times.
We also had a contact person in Arusha, Leonard, who organized everything we needed besides the Safari, like transport from and to the airport and when we contacted him via Whatsapp we always got an answer almost instantaneously.
The whole Safari trip was meticulously planned and safely executed by Meru Slopes. We can definitely recommend choosing this company for a Safari in Tanzania, if you want a great experience!

Reliable local safari company with great service, fair prices, and unforgettable experiences.
5/5

We had an amazing and unforgettable safari experience with Peak Cruise Safaris, and I would highly recommend this local tour company to anyone planning to visit Uganda and Rwanda.

From the very beginning, Jennifer, the owner, was fantastic. She was extremely responsive and always answered all of our questions quickly. Whenever I had something to ask, she was there to help and provide all the information we needed. She also prepared and sent us the itinerary very quickly, which made planning the whole trip easy and stress-free.

One of the things we really appreciated about Peak Cruise Safaris is that it is a locally run company offering very reasonable and competitive prices without compromising on quality. We felt that we received excellent value for our money. The accommodations throughout our safari were beautiful, comfortable, and in many cases felt quite luxurious. The meals provided during the trip were also delicious and exceeded our expectations.

A very special thank you goes to our driver, Godfrey. He was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. Spending so many days together on the road, having such a great driver and guide really makes a difference, and Godfrey was a big part of why we enjoyed our trip so much.

We also had wonderful local guides throughout our journey, including at Volcanoes National Park, Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga Channel, and during our chimpanzee trekking. Every guide we met was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They helped us understand so much more about the wildlife, nature, and local environment.

Jennifer, Godfrey, and all of the local guides truly made our safari an amazing and unforgettable experience. We had such a wonderful time and came home with so many great memories.

I would highly recommend Peak Cruise Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Uganda or Rwanda. You get a very good and reasonable deal together with excellent service, quality accommodations, delicious food, knowledgeable guides, and a very personal experience from a local company.

It was worth every dollar we spent. Thank you so much to Jennifer, Godfrey, and everyone who made our journey so special!

4 day tour with guide Elisante. Appreciated his friendly demeanor and knowledge about the parks and the animals that we encountered. Trip was planned by my travel partner so I cannot comment on that aspect. Would highly recommend.

Great Safari experience with Suricata
4/5

My girlfriend and I booked the 6-day mid-range option with Suricata. We did the Tarangire National Park, 2 days in the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Lake Manyara National Park.

Tarangire was a good entry point for our first Safari experience, since it is a little smaller and we already saw a lot of animals on our first day. We had an amazing encounter with a group of elephants we will remember for a lifetime. It was especially cool to do the tour in an open jeep. Our guide, Amos, was a calm and friendly presence and provided us with interesting information on the park and its animals.

Then the main part of our trip started, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was absolutely outstanding. We saw all the Big 5 and many animals more. It was too much to put into words. Just the scenery in the Serengeti is astonishing enough. Our guide was Pascal and he did an amazing job. He really went the extra mile for us. His knowledge of the park and its animals was second to none. His driving skills weren‘t too bad either, which is needed on the bumpy roads to Serengeti and within the park itself. I can‘t recommend him enough as a safari guide, you will not be disappointed!

The Lake Manyara National Park was a nice day to finish before we went back to Arusha.

The communication with Suricata around the booking was smooth and professional. All the pick-ups worked as discussed. On the second day, our schedule got changed probably to accommodate the general planning. We only found out about the change kind of by accident at the lodge reception. Better communication in case of changes would be appreciated. But in the end, everything worked out as booked over all, so it was a small inconvenience.

The accomodations were all in the range of what was promised. We really liked the Suricata Boma Lodge especially, a beautiful place. Our highlight was the Tanzania Bush Camp (Simba) in the middle of the Serengeti. Our two nights there were incredible, including hearing lions roaming through the camp in the middle of the night. Camp manager Steve and his entire staff were awesome and they make you feel right at home in the middle of nature!

Overall, we can definitely recommend Suricata as a safari operator.

He was hiliarious and friendly, and worked very hard to make sure we saw everything.

The safari was a once in a lifetime experience. Driving through this gorgeous park, surrounded by nature and the view of the mountains is amazing in itself. But to be able to see lions, zebras, elephants giraffes, hippos and so much more was just incredible! Amazing value for money, 100% worth it!

Tour operators in Kenya and Tanzania were both amazingly excellent and experienced!
5/5

First of all our coordinator, Elvis, was the best! His communication, responses and professionalism were of the highest level. He was able to tailor the tour to to our desires that we didn't even know. We landed in Nairobi where he took care of us every step of the way. We went from the Masai Mara in Kenya to the Serengeti in Tanzania, a hot air balloon ride then on to Zanzibar for 3 nights and back to Nairobi. We saw so many animals including all of the big five, 2 crossings, and over 100 lions! Our guides, Steven in Kenya and Gama were Top Notch which is the name of Gama's Land cruiser. It was truly an epic time 😊. Thank you to all of them and LeKobe Adventures, book with them, you won't be sorry!
