Well organised safari with a brilliant guide
We booked an 8 day private safari in a minivan for 2 through peak season Africa safaris. Stephen was very helpful when planning our trip, and provided different options for the vehicle and accomodation, as well as flexibility to adjust our itinerary.
The accomodation selection was great, with nice spacious rooms and good food available at each place. The hotels where also all well located close to the park gates so we could start our game drives early to maximise our time.
Our guide Felix was also amazing. Very friendly and helpful, and consistently got us into good viewing positions at some of the busier spots on the have drives. In particular, a large herd of elephants in Amboseli and then cheetahs in the Masai Mara.
The van itself was comfortable for the two of us, and we had no issues getting around the trails in the parks.

Ignus Titus, who arranged our itinerary, was incredibly dedicated and contactable day and night, resolving any issues immediately – truly thoughtful! 💖 Our guide and driver, Edgar Justinian, was extremely knowledgeable, possessing a wealth of information about animals, all national parks, and Tanzania's history and culture – better than Wikipedia! 👍 He took meticulous care of us, making us feel completely at ease. Professional, personal, very informative
My family and I had the most amazing holiday. It was so brilliant arranged that we never had any concerns as all information about how to get there, to how long the journey would take, to what the accommodation was like and what activities you could do in the area. The itinerary was so extensive and because it was done through the app, you didn’t need to go thorough the whole thing, on the first page just click the day you are interested in and it takes you that link. When ever i emailed with queries, they responded promptly which eases one’s concern.
They also provided a very personal service by meeting us at the airport and guiding us through car collection and going through the whole itinerary to make sure we didn’t have any concerns.
All the accommodation for our budget was brilliant.
I highly recommend them.

Great people, great service
Our experience with Kajie Safaris in Uganda was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized, and the value for money was exceptional.
A huge part of what made the trip so special was our guide, Brian. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about Uganda and its wildlife. Thanks to him, we had some unforgettable experiences, from seeing the incredible chimpanzees and finally getting to see gorillas up close, to the excitement of spotting a leopard, visiting the rhino sanctuary, and experiencing the Source of the Nile. Every day brought something new and memorable.
We also want to give a special thank you to Josephine, who was excellent throughout the planning and administration of the trip. She was responsive, helpful, and made everything feel easy and stress-free.
Uganda itself completely exceeded our expectations, and Kajie Safaris played a huge role in making the journey so memorable. We came back with incredible memories, countless photos, and a much deeper appreciation for this amazing country.

7 days Private tour - Amboseli, Maasai Mara and Lake
We had an excellent experience with the Explorer Wild Adventure from beginning to end. I booked them based on a friend review and online discussion. But they won when their Communication was always fast and clear, all payments worked exactly as agreed, and they were so helpful with everything and flexible, they organized our internal flights, transfers, lodges, and logistics throughout Kenya without any problems outside of a package. Tailoring to us. We did a seven-day safari, with two days in Amboseli staying at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and four days in the Masai Mara staying at Mara Serena Safari Lodge, plus the travel between the two areas by plane! Everything was very well organized, and whenever we wanted to adjust or add something, they were flexible and helped make it happen in a second.
The guides were the highlight of everything: Peter and our “new Brother” Zachary were absolutely amazing guides. They were knowledgeable, patient, flexible, funny, and very good at getting us to the right places at the right time. They quickly understood that we did not want only to drive around taking photos and crossing animals of a list. We wanted to understand the landscapes, the people, the wildlife, and how the parks and animals are managed. At the same time, they were always scanning for animals, spotting things we would never have seen ourselves, and making sure we did not miss important experiences.
After spending so much time with them, it became much more than a normal guide-client relationship. We talked, explored, laughed, changed plans, took detours, and by the end of the trip we honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. We actually missed them afterward. Kenya is also an amazing place ( one of the top places on the planet) but there is a need of support to get around and don’t lose time! Explorer and the guides did that seamless!
We were incredibly lucky with the wildlife. We saw all of the Big Five in the first days, many babies of all species (including a baby rhino ( thank you Zach!)— which my wife absolutely loved — and on our last day in the Masai Mara we witnessed the wildebeest crossing the river. Seeing the Great Migration crossing had been a lifelong dream for me, so that was an unforgettable way to finish the safari and Zach make all he could between heaven and hell to put us on the best spot!
What impressed us just as much was how much the company helped us outside the normal safari experience. At one point, we forgot one of our cell phones on a bush plane. This had nothing to do with their responsibility, but they spent most of a day figuring out where the phone was, coordinating with different people, and somehow getting it back to us in the middle of the Masai Mara.
Both Serena lodges were also excellent and very well located for the experience. Amboseli Serena was a great base for exploring Amboseli and its landscapes, and Mara Serena was perfectly positioned for the Masai Mara and Mara Triangle. We did the Maasai Village tour with the company and was great to be there just us! Also the boat tour was great. However the night safari with the lodge was not as fun because there was too much disturbance of the animals and you almost can not see anything besides the lantern. They did not use yellow or red lights that would not disturb the fauna around. Also the walking safari at the lake was nice to walk around but a very different experience in a close environment and not felt natural after 7 days in the wilderness!
We went to Kenya expecting an amazing safari, and we got much more than that. The organization was excellent, the guides were exceptional, and the experience felt personal from beginning to end.
We would travel with them again without hesitation.
