We got to see so many animals, making it an unforgettable experience. The tour was also very reasonably priced, with accommodation, meals, transportation, guide and everything else included.
Cephas, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly energetic and handled the long drives with ease. Even though he must have seen the animals countless times, he always took the time to explain everything to us in detail. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable safari experience. He really made the whole trip special.

Amazing
We just finished our 5-day safari with Suricata and it was absolutely incredible! Everything from the smooth flights from Zanzibar to the whole organization was perfect.
Our guide Melita was simply amazing—so knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we saw so much wildlife! Driving through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and especially seeing Serengeti was a dream come true. The lodges were great, the food was delicious, and the team took care of every single detail.

We had an amazing experience with Real Shangololo from beginning to end. Everything was very well organized, communication was easy and reliable, and the team made us feel taken care of throughout the entire trip.
Our guide was knowledgeable, professional and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made the safari incredibly enjoyable and went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience. We saw incredible wildlife, learned a lot along the way, and always felt comfortable and safe.
What stood out most was the personal attention and flexibility. It never felt rushed or overly commercial — they really cared about making the experience special for us.

Perfectly organized, top experience
Booking our tour to the gorillas, we received clear and timely information. Our driver Husain was a very nice man who told us so much about his country, we enjoyed his company. The lodge was amazing, with a "gorillas in the mist" view of the forest!! Husain also made sure with the rangers we could see a nearby gorilla family, as my husband is 70 years old and could not walk for hours. After drop-off at our hotel in Entebbe, the lady owner of the agency visited us to ask if all was well and gifted us special Uganda coffee!! Unforgettable and highly recommendable!!

From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, everything was well planned and executed (Thank you Naomi, our travel consultant for showing us around Tanzania Our safari guide Melita picked up us in the hotel and immediately made an impression as a guide who was both incredibly professional and genuinely warm and friendly. He made us feel comfortable, especially appreciated his easygoing communication style and sense of humor. We had an amazing time asking questions, learning about Tarangire, Serengeti Ngorongoro and hearing his stories and insights throughout the trip. Fauna Safaris made our honeymoon safari truly unforgettable.
From the beginning, the entire trip was handled with professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care. Our consultant, Ivy, stayed in close contact with us throughout the journey and was always responsive, proactive, and easy to communicate with. Because this was our honeymoon, she also prepared several thoughtful surprises along the way, which made the trip feel much more personal and special.
What impressed us most was how well Fauna handled unexpected changes. Our original safari was planned for six days, but at the very last minute we decided that we loved the Maasai Mara so much that we wanted to stay for one more day. Even though we made the request very late, Ivy immediately started coordinating everything and managed to arrange the additional accommodation for us. That extra day became one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
Our guide, Jasan, was extremely exceptional. With more than 15 years of safari experience, he has a deep understanding of wildlife, birds, plants, habitats, and animal behavior. He was not simply good at finding animals — he understood where they were likely to go, why they behaved in certain ways, and how to observe them without disturbing them.
Some of our best moments came from his ability to predict animal behavior. He positioned us near a small waterhole before a large elephant family arrived to drink and bathe, giving us an incredible view before the other vehicles reached the area. On another occasion, he explained why a group of zebras kept watching a stream where a crocodile was waiting, and after we patiently stayed nearby, the zebras eventually approached the water exactly as he predicted.
Jasan also has enormous respect for wildlife. He knows when it is appropriate to approach animals more closely and when it is important to keep a respectful distance. During possible zebra and wildebeest crossings, for example, he deliberately avoided driving too close because he did not want the vehicles to interfere with their natural behavior. We deeply appreciated this responsible approach to safari guiding.
He is also an excellent driver, extremely patient, polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to spend time with. By the end of the trip, we trusted him completely and simply let him guide us.
We wholeheartedly recommend Fauna Safaris to travelers who want not only to see the Maasai Mara, but to truly understand and appreciate it.
One small but important note: if you are the kind of traveler who wants to get as close to animals as possible at any cost, pressure your guide to disturb wildlife, ignore park rules, or even ask to feed or interfere with animals, please do not choose Jasan. He respects the animals and the reserve too much for that, and travelers like this only put a good guide in a difficult position. We unfortunately saw some visitors behaving this way, and we truly hope Jasan never has to deal with that kind of pressure.
For respectful travelers who are curious, patient, and genuinely interested in nature, however, we cannot recommend Jasan highly enough.
The combination of Ivy’s thoughtful coordination, Jasan’s extraordinary guiding, and the professionalism of the entire Fauna team turned our safari into one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.
We have already promised ourselves that when we return to Kenya, we will come back to Fauna Safaris — and we will absolutely ask for Jasan again.

We had an absolutely amazing safari with Topma Tours and Safaris! From the very beginning, communication was easy and friendly, and everything was well organized.
Our guide Roben was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. He was very knowledgeable, patient and always did his best to make sure we had a great experience. He knew the parks incredibly well and had a real talent for spotting animals - thanks to him, we saw so much more than we expected, including the Big Five!
The safari itself was unforgettable. Seeing elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and so many other animals in the wild was an incredible experience that we will remember for a very long time. The vehicle was comfortable, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.
Everything went smoothly, from the transfers and accommodation to the game drives. We also felt that the safari offered really good value for money compared with what we experienced.
A huge thank you to Max and Roben for such a fantastic trip. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone dreaming of experiencing Kenya - and we would happily go on safari with them again!

Incredible time at Murchison falls National Park
We travelled a group of 4 and we really enjoyed our trip, it was our first trip in Uganda and it exceeded our expectations, everything was well planned and organized, Jacqueline kept the communication clear throughout, and our guide Geoffrey was professional ,friendly and never rushed us, we enjoyed the game drives, we saw all the animals, the boat cruise was fun and getting close to the falls was so beautiful ,we had a memorable experience with Africa Horizon Safaris and would definitely recommend them.

Remarkable honeymoon
We had an incredible and unforgettable honeymoon experience with Ibanga Expeditions planning the Rwanda/Uganda portion. From the beginning, they really made an effort to make our trip special, and we appreciated the personal touches and care they put into our experience.
One of the absolute highlights was Chimp Nest. It was our favorite hotel of the entire trip and felt truly special and unique. The setting, atmosphere, and experience there were unforgettable. The wildlife throughout the trip was also remarkable — seeing chimpanzees, gorillas, golden monkeys, lions, hippos, buffalo, leopards, elephants and so many other animals in their natural environment was something we will never forget.
Our Muba and Abel worked hard to make sure we had a great experience and were able to see as much as possible. That said, travelers should be prepared for some very intense driving. The roads can be rough, long, and challenging, and some of the driving days were exhausting. We were also negatively surprised to be asked for additional money($450) for fuel during the trip, so I would recommend clarifying ahead of time exactly what is included in the quoted price and whether fuel is fully covered. Abel often brought up his business and how profitable/not profitable our trip was, which is good that he wants to provide for his family, but also distracted from the moment.
Overall, Ibanga helped create a truly memorable honeymoon, and the wildlife was the experience we hoped for, the service was truly exceptional. We are grateful for the memories and would especially recommend the experience to anyone looking for an adventurous, wildlife-focused trip through Uganda and Rwanda.
