An Unforgettable 7-Day Kenyan Safari with Peter Kapino & Axis Safari
Our 7-day Kenya safari with Axis Safari was wonderful! We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. The camps and food were excellent. Being vegetarian, I enjoyed spinach, chapathis, vegetable curry and lentils, similar to Indian food. Peter Kapino explained the animals and birds beautifully, making every drive interesting. He even returned my forgotten phone. Highly recommended!

Amazing adventure!
This was my first safari and it was an unforgettable adventure!
Me and my friend booked the 5 day safari to Mikumi and Nyerere national parks.
Perfection was obvious from the first minutes when our driver and guide Kapande, was spot on to the appointment place and time. Although the roads in Tanzania are chaotic, he was always careful and consistent with his driving and got us safely to our first lodge. During our game drives to both parks, he was always eager to share his knowledge about the animals we encountered and made every possible effort so that we can see up close as many animals as possible! Aside from that, he was also very friendly and with many many safari stories to share and excite our interest for the next time! I wholeheartedly recommend him as a guide. He made our first safari unforgettable.
Regarding the company now, they were very precise from the get go. The email communication with them was easy. The offer and relevant documents provided were accurate. The payment process seamless. Everything unfolded exactly as it was described in the initial offer.

Very good
Our 5 days tour was great, a lot of it due to our guide, Kapande. From the moment he picked us up from our Airbnb to the day he dropped us off, he gave us all needed explanations, he arranged all details for our stay. As for his safari guiding it was excellent, he gave us informations and shared his knowledge on the animals we spotted, he knew where to go in both parks we visited and offered us an amazing experience and adventure for our first safari! I would recommend Kapande as a guide because he has a great experience and he puts it in good use with the people he is guiding.

The safari itself was amazing and unforgettable, with incredible wildlife and landscapes.
The safari itself was amazing and unforgettable, with incredible wildlife and landscapes. However, future travelers should be aware that the organization was quite challenging.
During our 7-day safari, we changed 3 different groups and 7 different vehicles. Groups were mixed between different safari bookings, and we had to double-check the plans, vehicles, and arrangements almost every day.
The company also forgot our night-time airport pickup, so we had to find our own way to the hotel.
Accommodation varied: some places "got" but had no Wi-Fi or hot water, and electricity in few camps switched off during the all night or half day.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses throughout the trip — tips, donations, currency exchange, and various mist pay small payments can come up frequently.
Despite these chalenges, the safari itself was fantastic. Max was always friendly, responsive, and supportive, which we really appreciated.

Amazing safari experience with Kapande, exactly what we were looking for!
We had an amazing 8-day safari with Kapande, traveling to three parks (Ruaha, Mikumi, & Nyerere). Communication with Kapande and Uwanda Tours was very easy and clear; we were picked up from our hotel in Iringa to start the safari. The accommodations throughout the week were all very nice, and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Kapande was the perfect safari guide; he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and parks, and he communicated with other guides to make sure we saw plenty of animals.
Overall, it was a 10/10 week! Thank you Uwanda Tours and Kapande!
