Our safari trip to Tanzania completely exceeded all our expectations! From start to finish, the entire journey was flawlessly organized and absolutely magical.
First and foremost, our guide was incredibly professional, warm, and friendly. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and ecosystem was amazing. He patiently gave us detailed explanations about every animal and bird we encountered, making the game drives both exciting and educational.
Another huge highlight was the accompanying professional photographer. Having someone dedicated to capturing our best moments meant we could fully immerse ourselves in the experience without worrying about missing a shot. The photos turned out stunning!
Most importantly, we saw an incredible abundance of wildlife! From majestic lions and elephants to leopards and rhinos, we checked off nearly everything on our list. It truly felt like a dream come true.

An Unforgettable Experience with Meru Slopes
We had an absolutely incredible experience on our 6-day safari organized by Meru Slopes (6-Day Private Big 5 Mid Range Tour Safari in Tanzania).
From the very beginning, our contact with Jerome Hotti was outstanding. The itinerary was designed quickly and efficiently, and the price was extremely competitive compared to other operators. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process, with very fast responses via WhatsApp and great attention to our questions and requests. We felt confident and reassured from day one.

Upon our arrival, we were promptly picked up by a company driver and transferred to Arusha. Water and soft drinks were provided during the journey, a thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated after a long trip.
The following day, we met Iddy, our guide for the entire safari. What can we say? Simply outstanding. His driving was impeccable, his communication excellent, and he always knew exactly what to say at the right moment. He has extensive knowledge of the parks and wildlife and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible animal sightings. We also appreciated his respect for nature and the environment throughout the trip.
10/10 for our guide!
The accommodations were excellent throughout the safari, but our absolute favorite was the Sightseeing Luxury Tented Lodge. Spending two nights in the heart of the savannah and hearing lions roaring near our tent was a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
Overall, we highly recommend Meru Slopes without hesitation. The organization was flawless, the team was professional and welcoming, and the memories we made will stay with us forever.

Tammy is the best!
This is our second African adventure using Tammy as our travel consultant. She was so patient and helpful in planning our Kenya/Tanzania trip. All the camps she recommended far exceeded our expectations. Tammy always got back to us in a reasonable time and never over bugged us like a few other agents. With air travel being a bit more challenging these days, Tammy was patient and on the ball. We are trying to figure out another safari just to have her plan us something fun.

Rudzani made everyone feel welcomed. He took us safely to our destination. He was patient with us when we wanted to go shopping and he waited for us. We enjoyed our time traveling with him.

Very helpful team, positive safari experience
We chose TrekSafaris for a bespoke four day primate safari programme in Uganda that included gorilla tracking in Bwindi and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale. Both were amazing wildlife experiences, and the travel to reach these destinations took us on scenic roads through countryside and villages that were very interesting to see.
Huge thanks to Doreen who was so helpful in organising a programme that fit our schedule, budget and preferences and in being so flexible in us adjusting our plans as our wider travel plans took shape.
Our driver James was very helpful and social, happy to chat and answer our questions.

A great trip in beautiful Rwanda and Uganda!
I can't say enough good things about this tour. Our guide Isaac was the best! He took care of every detail. Every lodge was special, in beautiful settings, with tasty food, and very kind staff.
The activities were all we could've asked for. Every day brought a new adventure: cute golden monkeys, awesome mountain gorillas and time at an island in a beautiful lake. This trip exceeded expectations!

An unforgettable Wildlife experience with Joseph
At the beginning of July, we spent six days with Joseph in Tanzania’s national parks, and we still look back on this time with great pleasure.
Getting to know Tanzania’s wildlife was the main purpose of our trip. With his wealth of experience, his calm manner and his instinct for the animals, Joseph made sure that we were able to see and experience an incredible amount. He often knew exactly where it was worth waiting or taking a closer look. His good contacts with other guides and rangers were also very helpful.
We also greatly appreciated the fact that Joseph speaks very good German. Especially when he was explaining the animals, the country and the many impressions along the way, this was very helpful for us and made communication particularly easy.
We especially enjoyed the fact that, in addition to the wildlife, Joseph also gave us insights into everyday life and social life in Tanzania. During these six days, we not only got to know the national parks, but also came to understand the country a little better.
These days will stay in the memories of all six of us for a long time. Thank you, Joseph, for the wonderful time together and the many special experiences. We would go on safari with you again anytime.
