Great time, good deal!
Just had a wonderful 9 day safari + beach trip. I worked with Janet from Apodiformes for about 9 months from when we booked our trip to when we traveled. She was communicative and helpful at every step of the way. We had issues with two lodges on our itinerary that were unable to honor our original reservations and she worked with us and the lodges on other equivalent options very quickly.
Our guide Isaiah was then the star of the show during the safari. He was both knowledgeable and kind, getting us great views of the Big 5 and sharing good info on the animals. Whenever we wanted to linger a bit longer or stop to get pictures he was happy to oblige. We spent lots of time in the car over the 6 days we were on safari and traveling to different parks and enjoyed it all - even the "African massages" from the bumpy roads. Would recommend the company and Isaiah to those interested in safari.
Will leave each of the lodges separate reviews on their pages but would say be sure to get Ol Tukai in Amboseli on your itinerary if you can!

Intense 4 day safari will all the Big 5. I was very pleased.
I was very pleased with our safari. Our guide was very knowable, and could answer all our questions. He also knew his way round the parks and found the animals.
A little minus was the booking. The accommodation for the third night was not working according to plan. Lizza was however very understanding and really tried to help.
Working seatbelts must be available in the vehicle.

We had an incredible safari experience with Amazing Memories. The team is extremely reliable, all accommodation and safari arrangements went smoothly, and they always responded to our messages promptly.
The biggest highlight was our KPSGA Silver certified guide, George. He has 18 years of safari experience and possesses an in-depth understanding of wildlife behaviour and the constant changes within these national parks. If you are eager to learn, he can answer every single question you ask. Highly recommend!
Fellow travelers, go for it! This tour group is easy to communicate with, the deposit is reasonable, and there are no hidden traps. We specifically requested a "Silver Guide"; even though one wasn't available at first, they went out of their way to find one and got back to us! George is a fantastic driver who takes you on wild, high-speed rides, and he’s a walking encyclopedia—answering questions with the depth and detail of a hundred TOEFL listening tests. Just book it!

A great top driver, who made us feel comfortable and safe. The parks were great, the Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti Lake Manyara and Tarangire... again full of praise for our driver who did his best, saw the big five several times and even the cheetah. This is not going to be your usual review…
This is probably not going to be your usual travel review - because, unfortunately, we never actually made it to Tanzania. 😅
We had to cancel our planned safari due to an unexpected health issue, so we can’t tell you how amazing the safari itself was. But we still really wanted to write this review, because our experience with Angelino Adventures throughout the planning - and especially the cancellation - was honestly worth sharing.
We actually found Angelino Adventures through two friends who travelled with them a few years ago and couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing experience they had. Their stories were what first made us seriously consider Tanzania, and from then on, choosing Angelino Adventures was never really a question.
From the very first email, Calvin was incredibly helpful, responsive and patient. We had quite a few questions and requests along the way, and he always went the extra mile to help us put together exactly the kind of trip we wanted.
One thing that really stood out to us was how personal the whole experience felt. We never felt like we were just another booking or a number in a system - Calvin genuinely took the time to understand what we wanted and was always happy to help, even with the smallest details.
Then, completely unexpectedly, our plans had to change. And honestly, this is where we were probably most impressed. Cancelling a big trip is never fun, but Calvin and his team handled the situation with so much understanding, transparency and kindness. They made every effort to recover as much of our payment as possible and kept us informed throughout the process.
So no, we unfortunately can’t review the safari itself. But based on everything we experienced before the trip, we would absolutely recommend Angelino Adventures to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.
We’re just sorry that, for us, this particular adventure had to remain a plan rather than a memory.

Madini is a great safari organization
Madini is a very nice safari company, we enjoyed it very much. I am not the youngest anymore, and the driver was very considerate. We saw many beautiful things, including the Big Five. Top driver. Beautiful accommodations and amazing parks visited. My daughter booked everything in advance from the Netherlands, kept in touch throughout, during the safari and afterwards. Highly recommended. Great Safari Adventure
Reteti Safari gave us a truly spectacular experience. Mid-September turned out to be the perfect time to visit: it was less crowded, while there were still plenty of animals to see, often with their young. Our skilled and highly motivated drivers and guides impressed us with their extensive knowledge and passion, far exceeding our expectations.
Reteti Safari was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process. After making our initial booking, we had to make several changes, and Reteti was always able to help. Communication was easy and straightforward, and their entire approach was uncomplicated and solution-oriented.
The accommodations were excellent, the meals and chefs outstanding, and the staff were always helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We truly appreciated their hospitality and enjoyed their company. Even when Reteti itself had to make some changes after our initial payment, everything was handled smoothly. In the end, we could not identify any significant disadvantage or difference for us.
The experience offered excellent value for money, and the recommended tips were absolutely appropriate. All seven members of our private group were completely satisfied with the safari and the service on our 5-day all-inclusive adventure from Nairobi to Nakuru to Masai Mara and back to Nairobi.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Reteti Safari and would be happy to choose them again.
