Absolutely everything is taking care of
What an absolute well organised trip!
During the arrangements with Jophride every single question of mine was answered and all requests satisfied. Information was shared quickly and I had no concerns left before I started my adventure.
Early morning pickup was on time the very pleasant drive to the border crossing was fast and very safe! Plenty of water was provided and Gabriel and I had a pleasant chat during our 2,5h journey to the border crossing.
Then came a challenge as I messed up my visa but thank God for Gabriel, this men moved heaven end earth to get cash and sort me out, and not just once, he did that twice!
Off we went, just 45 minutes to go to get to the start point.
On arrival again Gabriel sorted everything out and I had the time to prepare myself for this once in a lifetime experience.
I was handed into the care of the rangers of UWA MUHABURA BASE CAMP with Foster as our main guide.
After a breath taking hike with lots of teachings, from Foster, about the national park its animals and vegetation we reached the gorilla family of 11 members. And had a magical hour to spend in their company.
Filled with joy we made our way back to the base camp where Gabriel was waiting to greet me with a smile. I think he was at least as excited as myself and wanted to know if I had a good day.
After our certificates were handed out and photos take , we made our way back to Kigali.
Gabriel offered to go to the Gorilla Museum and requested if I wanted to go anywhere else. To be hones, I think he would have drove me around the whole continent of Africa if I just said so lol. But it was a long day and lots to process, so we just stopped at the coffee shop, grabbed some coffee and made our way to Kigali. Again, very safe driving!
I was dropped off back at the hotel, we took a quick picture and all this time Jophride checked now and then how the day was going.
I had my concerns about traveling as a solo woman, but the team of UMURAGE ECO SAFARIS Ltd delivered a service that was exceptional, I felt safe at all times!
If I ever have the chance to do this again, it will be with those guys and on the Uganda side of the national park as it’s a bit more affordable then the Rwandan tours, due to de difference in the price for the gorilla trekking license.

It was a very professional and well organized experience with a great guide and car.
We had an absolutely amazing safari in Tanzania! Everything was organized very professionally from start to finish. We had so many incredible wildlife moments, and our guide, Stanley, was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to providing top-tier service.
The accommodations were wonderful, and the safari vehicle was perfect for spotting and viewing animals up close. Highly recommended!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Communication was always quick and efficient, and the entire team was incredibly accommodating, making sure everything was tailored to our needs.
We spent a weekend exploring Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, and the experience exceeded all our expectations.
