Agency is reliable, but jeep and organization need improvement
We booked this agency through safaribookings.com based on the good reviews and quick communication with Brenda. Everything was easy to arrange and the cost was as expected, with the option to pay part of it in cash upon arrival in Nairobi.
Overall, the experience was positive, but for the price we expected better.
Jeep: ours (plate KBP 454K) was in very poor condition (broken seats, torn upholstery, seat belts not working, serious fuel tank problems). Refueling took over 40 minutes while other jeeps managed in 2. On top of this, we had to deal with multiple flat tires — even the two spare wheels were punctured, forcing us to repair them on the way and wasting a lot of time.
Guide/Driver: Dan did his best, but combining both roles is not ideal. He seemed inexperienced and lacked basic equipment (no binoculars). Driving and spotting animals at the same time is very difficult.
Transfers/Timing: travel times were much longer than promised (about +50%), which cut short our safari time. For example, we paid USD 400 but had only 3 hours inside the Masai Mara.
In short: reliable agency and smooth booking, but the vehicle quality and organization need serious improvement.

We praice our luck for booking with MamaAnna Mmbaga and Porcupine Expeditions! The price was good, the service exellent, and every little obstacles were taken care of. Every tanzanien involved in the safari took good care of us, and were most friendly. The driver on the safari was knowledged and told us a lot about what we saw, hos animals live, and the whole ecology in Tangerine, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We thank them all for making this an experience of our life! For me as a women of soon 70, I am most grateful for all help.

Friendly and well organised stay in Victoria Falls.
Marvel and his team organised an exceptional value-for-money tour for us in Victoria Falls. All the activities were thoroughly enjoyable, and the accommodations were comfortable. Notable highlights included the helicopter tour of the Falls and our visit to the Chobe Game Reserve.

Flexible operator committed to providing an enjoyable experience for the guests
I wanted to see Victoria Falls and was advised that, if I do that, I must not miss the Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta. I found the popular 8-Day From Vic Falls to Okavango Delta Camping Tour on SafariBookings which ticked all the boxes for me. The only disappointment was that it was not available on my dates and I had no option to be flexible. Luckily the operator was able to arrange for this to become a private instead of a group tour at a very reasonable extra cost.
I very much enjoyed all the locations and activities. This tour is a great value for money for people like me who don't need a lot of comfort and prefer to spend on activities instead. Oscar from Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours was always available on WhatsApp for any questions, replying fast no matter the time of the day, both before and during the tour. I highly recommend his company.

Amazing
Our girls trip to Zanzibar was well put together and hugely successful. The company understood our needs and went all out to meet them. There was good communication before and during the trip. The choice of hotels, tour guides, transport and other services were excellent and came at an affordable cost. Our focal person was very nice and warm. She made time to meet us on arrival and joined us on a few of the tours. She provided daily updates and checked in at the end of each day to be sure we were ok. On the whole, it was a fun and thrilling experience!

Committed to the best experience
Our experience was amazing. Everything was well organised. We had some trouble with our vehicle during the initial hours and they all took care of us and making sure we would not lose time. So for a few hours they managed to get us in another car so that we continued on our way and in the meanwhile Arsene (our guide) stayed behind to take care of the car. He then joined us later with the repaired car and we continued as if nothing has happened.
Arsene was amazing, he really took good care of us. He was friendly, professional and very caring. Spending four days going around in a car with a person can become intense but with him everything was smooth. He understood when we wanted to engage in conversations or when we just wanted to rest. Thank you Arsene, we will really always remember you!
When the car broke down, the other guides also took care of us, Peter and Thomas, and they were also amazing, friendly and very professional!

We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, and countless birds. The atmosphere was magical—sunrises over the savannah, close encounters with elephants, and quiet moments watching lions rest. This safari created memories we will carry with us forever. An Unforgettable Safari Adventure
This safari exceeded all our expectations. We were thrilled to see an incredible number of animals in their natural habitat—at least 6 cheetahs, 2 leopards, and multiple lions—along with many other amazing species. The guide Lawrence from Leopard Orchid were knowledgeable and made sure we had the best viewing opportunities. The landscapes were breathtaking, and every moment felt like a scene from a wildlife documentary. Highly recommend this safari to anyone who loves nature and wildlife. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
