The most incredible experience
Our safari in Tanzania was such a special experience, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had Jackson as our guide. ❤️
From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and cared for. Everything was so well planned, but what we appreciated most was how flexible he was and how he always adapted the schedule to what we wanted. We never felt rushed and could truly enjoy every moment. His driving skills were excellent, and his ability to spot animals was simply amazing. It was incredible to see how much he knew about wildlife and how passionate he was about his work.
What made this experience even more meaningful was getting to know Tanzania beyond its wildlife. Jackson shared so much about Tanzanian life, Maasai culture, and local traditions. We loved listening to his stories and spending time with him along the way. He was not just a great guide but someone who genuinely made our journey more memorable.
Looking back, it wasn’t just the incredible animals or beautiful landscapes that made this safari unforgettable. It was also the people we met and the moments we shared, and Jackson was a huge part of that.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, and we couldn’t recommend Jackson highly enough. You can tell he truly cares about giving his guests the best possible experience.
Thank you, Jackson, for all the thought, kindness, and effort you put into making our safari so special. We will always look back on this trip with the biggest smiles and so much gratitude. It was an experience we will never forget! 🐘❤️

Very different your guides
The communication by Rehema was fantastic and the animals were amazing. I appreciated her gift at the end.
Over the two days we had two very different Tour guides. On the first day Ali was gentle, friendly, polite and tried his very best despite having limited English but he forgot everything including the binoculars and that there was cold drinks for us in the cooler. He used WhatsApp for social reasons whilst driving but stopped when asked to (it is illegal in Tanzania).
On the second day the guide, Omar spoke English and remembered everything but was far too fierce with us and even asked for a tip at the end of the day which is not polite, including in Tanzania.
The last leg of the 2nd day was the two hour trip back to Arusha. This was on a very dilapidated minibus without Aircon and again the driver was using his phone whilst on the busy main road but stopped when we asked to.
So, to sum up:
Pros: communication / animals.
Cons: guides / drivers need a bit more training.
Top tip: take your own binoculars because even if they do remember them, there’s only two available.

guides Alex who went the extra mile, a responsive operator, and a well-planned safari itinerary.
We had a great safari experience with Jungleroam. The itinerary was well planned, and our guide Alex was helpful, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. The tour operator was responsive and communication was smooth. Overall, it was a memorable trip with excellent wildlife encounters and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Though, great communication, we were definitley taken care of, amazing adventure
We want to praise RA Safari for a life-changing experience!!
We just got home from a personalized 23day safari visiting Kenya and Tanzania that was coordinated by RA Safari.
We saw the big 5 multiple times in the Massai Mara and northern/central Serengeti, watched the wildebeest crossing of the Mara, saw pink flamingos and Rino at Lake Nakuru, got up-close with hippos in Lake Naivasha, and observed Jane Goodall’s chimps in Gombe. We concluded with a “blue safari” and swimming with dolphins in Nungiwi, Zanzibar. AMAZING!!
Zeph(owner) and his son met us on the first night in Nairobi. They welcomed us with traditional Massai blankets/dress wear. Eric(coordinator) and his crew helped us through customs/proof of vaccinations/proof of Tanzania insurance at the Kenya/Tanzania border. At the border, there were multiple lines we had to go through; Eric’s help made the process seamless. Eric and the driver took us to the hotel, and the next morning Zeph and our new guide met us at breakfast.
When we got to Zanzibar Island the RA representative, Misamidi, was constantly checking in with us and he met us multiple times along the way
RA Safari was not going to let us get lost
I can not say enough about our fabulous guides.
Dunkin took us all through Kenya. He is an amazing kind man. He knew roads and locations in Massai Mara and Lake Nakuru that seemed to be private. He also arranged a boat ride on Lake Naivasha (it was not part of our original tour). We totally enjoyed the hour boat ride around the lake learning about the wildlife and culture of the local people.
Our second major guide was Johnson. Johnson is an excellent teacher. He taught us about the animals, culture, and history of Tanzania. We were with Johnson for 7days and we enjoyed every moment with him.
It was obvious that each of our guides (two major and several minor guides) loved their jobs and countries. Each of them wanted us to enjoy our safari and their country while in their care. Zeph(owner) and Eric (coordinator) had everything planned meticulously.:
Lodging: Each of our locations had unique lodging. Lodging varied from bush tents with animals roaming the grounds, a tree house tent, a quaint little historic hotel, and a very nice resort hotel. We always had great food, a real bed, hot water, shower and a toilet. Most had spectacular views. We always had beautiful sunrises/sunsets.
Highlights of our trip: wildebeest crossing the Mara, 75-100 elephants crossing right in front of our jeep in Amboseli, boat ride on Lake Naivasha, proximity to so many cats (saw a pride of 24+) in the Serengeti, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, beautiful beach time in Nungiwi Zanzibar. All of it was amazing and life changing!!
. Asante sanas!😊

Excellence
We did the 5 day Kruger plus Panorama Route. What a great trip, once in a lifetime. Hoppy is an amazing guide. He knew every answer to every question we asked. He navigated 4 senior women around without issues (right Hoppy?? she said smiling.) and we got to see the big five. The only thing that could have made it better is if we were in Kruger the first two nights instead of staying at Sabie Sands. The property was lovely, but we spent a lot of time traveling to the park and paper work to get inside. I would have rather paid extra to stay inside. All in all I give it 5 stars and would go back again. We miss you already Hoppy, thanks for a great adventure!!!!
