We thoroughly enjoyed our time with African Adventures Safari Company - we stayed at beautiful accommodation throughout our five weeks and had animal experiences that we will never forget. John is highly skilled and knowledgeable about all things African and he ensured that things ran seamlessly, irrespective of unexpected issues. We highly recommend this company and we are definitely keen to make another trip to Africa with John - so many things still to see.

We had a fantastic independent trip to Botswana, Victoria Falls & Mana Pools Zimbabwe and Cape Town. Everything worked seemlessly - flights, connections, transfers , locations, safaris and accommodation. John even unexpectedly checked in with us every now and again to make sure all was going to plan - and it was. Wouldn't have changed a thing!

Excellent safari in Kenya 2026
We spent our holiday in Kenya from October 28 to November 1. The safari tour was arranged by Jungli Roam Safari, and we are sincerely grateful to the company for the impeccable organisation of the trip. From the very beginning, we felt their genuine care for guests: at the airport we were met by Ranger Tribon, who stayed with us throughout the entire trip. The itinerary included the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli — each of them is unique in its own way, and thanks to the well‑thought‑out programme, we were able to fully experience the grandeur of Kenya’s nature.We would like to express special gratitude to Ranger Tribon. His professionalism was perfectly complemented by a truly warm and attentive attitude towards the guests. He didn’t just show us the locations — he helped us feel the real atmosphere of a safari. Calmly and confidently, he chose the best spots for wildlife observation, stopped where the chances of seeing something extraordinary were highest, and, with great patience, gave us as much time as we needed for photography to capture the perfect shot. It was thanks to his experience and knowledge of the area that we managed to see the key representatives of African fauna and take photos that now preserve these vivid moments.The comfort during the trip was also excellent: the vehicle was equipped with chargers for electronic devices and Wi‑Fi. This small but very important detail made the journey much easier and allowed us to share our impressions right on the road.We thank Jungli Roam Safari for their reliability and attention to detail, and Ranger Tribon for his sincere desire to turn our safari into more than just a tour — into a truly memorable adventure. Perfect from start to finish
Our safari experience with RuRu Safaris was absolutely incredible, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
When I started planning our trip, I specifically wanted to use a local Kenyan company rather than a large international operator. It was important to me that our money went directly to the people and businesses in Kenya, and I’m so glad we chose RuRu Safaris.
Having never organised anything like this before, I was initially a little nervous, but from my very first communication with Ruphina, I knew we were in good hands. She was knowledgeable, friendly, incredibly patient and always so quick to respond to my many questions! She made the whole process feel effortless, organising everything from start to finish, and I quickly reached the point where I trusted her completely.
And then there was the safari itself. Wow! We were incredibly lucky to see all of the Big Five, as well as a cheetah and a wonderful variety of other wildlife. It was everything we’d hoped for and so much more.
We spent two nights at Engai Wilderness Camp before moving on to Sopa Lodge at Lake Naivasha, where we enjoyed a boat safari and a visit to Crescent Island Wildlife Reserve. Every part of the trip was special, and everywhere we went we were met with warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality.
Our driver and guide, Mike, was absolutely wonderful. Calm, friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We felt completely safe and comfortable with him throughout, and his relaxed manner made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
What really stood out to me was how well we were looked after. From the initial planning with Ruphina to our time on safari with Mike, everything was so thoughtfully organised.
If you’re considering a safari in Kenya, please don’t overlook the smaller, locally owned companies. RuRu Safaris provided a truly exceptional experience, with a level of personal service that would be hard to beat.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to Ruphina and Mike, and to all the wonderful people we met along the way. Kenya is a beautiful country, made even more special by its incredibly warm and welcoming people.

Great staff
We did a three-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro tour, and everything went really well. Our guide Eric was very knowledgeable, and our driver Domi was very professional. Thanks to Domi’s knowledge of the park, we managed to see all of the Big Five. The lodges where we stayed were very nice, and the food was also excellent. The price was fair compared to other options. Their response time to messages was good, though there are still a few small things they could improve to be perfect. But overall, everything was really good.

Fabulous tour company!
My husband and I have been self travellers/drivers to Africa many times .This trip had two firsts, visiting Uganda and going on a customised tour.
We booked a week gorilla ,chimpanzee trekking as well as visiting Murchison falls,Queen Elizabeth National Park and other activities with Dav's.
It was a wonderful week of travel ,showcasing all that makes Uganda such a beautiful country. My personal highlight was the gorilla trekking.Most amazing animal experience we have ever had. Personally, at age 72 my experience was enabled by the fantastic porters. Please employ them even if you feel you don't need the help.It is for most their sole income opportunity.
I found Dav's incredibly easy to communicate throughout the booking process..My booking contact was Reagan, who ensured all bookings and details were in place with relative ease and little fuss.
We had a Hi- ace van ( in top condition ) just for us! Luxury indeed.
We saw and did some amazing things over the week ,but what made it really special was our driver/guide Godwin.He was incredibly accomodating to our every need and ensured every element of the trip run smoothly. He had a great sense of humour and his knowledge of environment, way of life, history and the people was readily shared with us. Godwin ,we learnt so much from our time with you.
He always went that extra mile ( so to speak) for us . He really personalised the experiences for us not only with booked activities but with the accomodation and the staff. We shared many laughs at each and enjoyed the atmosphere of each place we stayed. Special mention to our stay on Itambira Island, what a magic serene place.
At the end of our week in Uganda we left with not only magic memories enabled by Dav safaris , but also a new special friendship with our Ugandan friend Godwin.
If going to Uganda I highly recommend using this company.

Amazing gorillas
My trip to Rwanda was an unforgettable experience, with the highlight undoubtedly being the opportunity to see the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. It was truly amazing and something I will remember for the rest of my life.
Rwanda is a beautiful country, with stunning scenery and so much to discover. Martin, my driver and guide, was absolutely brilliant. He was cheerful and supportive with brilliant driving skills which made me feel safe. He joined in with some activities as I was a solo traveller. His knowledge of the country, its history, culture and people was exceptional, and he was always happy to share his knowledge along the way. He really added to my experience and helped me gain a much deeper appreciation of Rwanda. My trip would not have been the same without him.
The hotels and lodges were excellent, offering lovely accommodation throughout the trip. However, I was surprised by how few other guests there were at many of the properties.
My main disappointment was that I had booked a trip expecting to travel with other guests, but ended up travelling solo after the other bookings fell through. This was disappointing, particularly as the opportunity to share such special experiences with like-minded travellers had been part of the appeal of booking a group trip. I would have appreciated being informed of the situation before arriving in Rwanda.
Despite this disappointment, Rwanda itself was wonderful, the gorillas were simply incredible, and Martin was an outstanding guide who made the trip special. It is a beautiful country that I would highly recommend visiting.
