Genuine, accommodating, authentic, safe experience in an incredible place
I had an amazing adventure with Mountain Hiking Ventures. Daniel has over 20 years of experience on the mountain, and made sure everything was organized for us to have an amazing time. He was kind, his team was so fun and caring, the food was genuinely so good and I learned so much about the environment, history, culture, and animals of the park. Both guides were so knowledgeable, and even in hard moments of my trek and sumiting the mountain I felt extremely supported by my guides. I will definitely be doing another adventure with the team again in the future. I recommend Daniel for Mt. Kenya as well as any other local safari or hiking adventure based trips in Kenya and Tanzania. Asante Daniel and Team!

The BEST tour operator in the world: trustworthy, honest, wonderful - book with them!!!
Where do I even start describing the best trip of my life?! This has truly been one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had, all thanks to the absolutely amazing Michael at Bugoli Adventures, who organised the trip and made my dream come true - and Matiya, who is simply the BEST safari guide in the world!!!
I cannot thank them enough. I’m so glad I found Bugoli Adventures when planning this trip. I couldn’t have made a better choice! They are trustworthy, reliable, extremely safe, attentive and just fantastic people.
I travel a lot, mainly solo, and as a woman travelling alone, everything was absolutely perfect. In fact, I’m so glad I travelled on my own with Bugoli, because I ended up meeting so many wonderful people along the way!
Michael helped me organised the best itinerary, listening to what I like and then planning accordingly. It really exceeded all my expectations.
Matiya, my guide, was simply exceptional. He did so much driving, looked after me so well and always made me feel safe, and was the best travel buddy!! He shared his extraordinary knowledge of wildlife, local cultures and the places we visited, patiently answering the millions of questions I had! When you’re travelling solo, having such wonderful company makes all the difference. I’m so grateful to have met him!
The gorilla trekking: This was a lifelong dream, so my expectations couldn’t possibly have been higher. And somehow, the experience EXCEEDED them! Seeing gorillas in the wild was surreal. One of the most extraordinary moments of my life.
The chimpanzee trekking: Every bit as incredible as the gorillas! The trek through Kyambura Gorge was unforgettable. I think it might be the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life. I was completely speechless.
The lodges: I chose midrange accommodation, and every lodge was fabulous! Breathtaking locations, spotless and comfortable rooms, absolutely delicious food, and the absolute highlight was the staff, who at every single lodge were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
The activities and rangers: Everything was incredible from start to finish. The rangers who accompanied us were wonderful. Their knowledge of the forest and wildlife was extraordinary, as was their dedication to protecting these places and the animals living there. I learned so much from them!
Two absolute highlights were the Batwa experience organised by James and Nicholas, and the swamp wildlife walk led by Eliphaz. I LOVED both experiences and would absolutely recommend including them in your itinerary!
And something that made this trip even more meaningful: Michael also runs a charity supporting children with albinism, and a percentage of Bugoli’s proceeds goes towards supporting them. I had the enormous privilege of visiting the children and spending time with them. That experience is something I will carry with me forever. It says so much about Michael and the kind of person he is.
I arrived in Uganda hoping to fulfil a lifelong dream. I left with memories I’ll treasure forever, new friendships, and an even greater love for this extraordinary part of the world. Michael and Matiya, I genuinely cannot thank you enough!!!!!
If you’re thinking of travelling to Rwanda or Uganda, especially as a solo traveller, I cannot recommend Bugoli Adventures highly enough. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

It's fantastic!
The tour was incredible, but the real highlight was our guide, Eshetu, an extremely polite, helpful, and kind person who speaks English very well. He explained the history of Ethiopia, shared interesting facts, and went out of his way to ensure we could enjoy the tour.

Good Communication and Planning Support
4.5/5 I contacted Mournic Adventures to assist me with the logistical side and bookings for a trip from Nairobi Kenya to experience a safari in Amboseli and then the beach at Diani for myself and my partner. Overall, we had a great experience with the company planning our 5-day long safari trip to Kenya. From the initial planning stages through the trip itself, communication was excellent, the team, namely Victor, was responsive and helpful, and the overall service represented good value for the money. I didn't have a great deal of time and wanted to maximize it to experience more than one side of the country. The itinerary provided a wonderful opportunity to experience nature and wildlife, then to visit the coast and enjoy relaxing time at the beach. We appreciated the effort that went into coordinating the various details of the trip including hotel pickup in Nairobi, transfer to the safari lodge and resort, multiple game drives, all meals, train booking, and airport drop off.
There were, however, a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the meals provided during the picnic on one of our game drives did not accommodate the dietary restrictions we communicated in advance. I do not eat meat and the boxed lunch contained a cold chicken leg and some snacks. There were some other small snacks in the box but I felt it could've been better. If I can provide feedback on this, I would suggest being very careful about dietary restrictions. I do not eat meat by choice, but has it been something I were allergic to it could have been a medical issue rather than an inconvenience. If food cooked food is served, store in a lunch bag that keeps it warm. Provide food that is prepared that same day where possible so that it is fresh. Also, On one day, transportation between destinations also took considerably longer than anticipated, which affected our schedule. The itinerary said 3-4 hours by train which ended up being 5 and did account for the 2 hour trip to the train station and 1 additional hour from the stop to the resort. We expected to arrive in time for lunch but unfortunately missed it.
Despite these shortcomings, the company did a good job overall, and I really appreciated their communication throughout the entire booking process and trip, organization, and service throughout the planning process. Our drivers/guide were always on time, friendly, and knowledgeable, the properties where we stayed were nice, clean, and has wonderful staff. With better attention to dietary requirements/restrictions, accommodation preferences, and more accurate transportation time estimates, the experience could have been even better. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience and hope these areas can be improved for future travelers. I would recommend Mournic Adventures and would use their services again with the recommendations that all parties do their due diligence to confirm all details.
Many thanks to Victor, Brian, and Macdonald!!!

Ecky the best guide
I really enjoyed the safari! Our guide was fantastic and shared some very interesting facts about the animals. We even spent the night out in the middle of the savanna—it was an absolutely awesome experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!

It was fantastic!!!
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience! I have several food allergies, and the chef was incredibly considerate and made sure to accommodate all of them. The food was delicious throughout the entire trip!
Our driver was also wonderful: such a kind and friendly man who taught us so much about the animals and the national parks. We had an unforgettable experience and were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!
We couldn’t have asked for a better safari. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Tanzania! 🐘🦁🦒

The Best 4 Days! 100% Recommend Lukas!
We booked our trip from home through a travel agency, and the tour was operated by Go Serengeti African Tours. We recently completed this amazing 4-day safari with our guide, Lukas, and we cannot recommend him and the company highly enough! Our itinerary started in Arusha and took us to Tarangire National Park for one day, the Serengeti for two days, and the Ngorongoro Crater for the final day, before ending at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Future travelers should be prepared for the journey to the Serengeti: it requires long drives of about 4 hours on bumpy, rough dirt roads, but it is absolutely worth it. Throughout the entire trip, we always felt completely safe and in expert hands with Lukas. He has an incredible eye for wildlife – he spotted so many animals that we would have completely missed ourselves. Thanks to his dedication and skills, we were able to see the Big Five along with many other fascinating animals.
What truly showed his professionalism was the end of our safari: during a single critical situation with an elephant, Lukas reacted with immense experience, calmness, and skill, keeping us perfectly safe. If you are planning a safari, we absolutely recommend booking Go Serengeti African Tours and asking for Lukas!
