Second time in Tanzania with Makasa - in one word great!!
March 2025 again on Safari with Makasa, really enjoyed it! We went to Moshi / Kilimanjaro tour, then three days Lake Natron, then three days middle Serengeti, then three days Lake Ndutu and ended in Arusha. Beautiful volcano area and a huge number of bird species along the lake at Lake Natron Camp, and wonderfully well cared for. We had a very nice safari guide from Makasa who knew a lot to tell and took us at 6AM to experience nature in the early morning - for example Retima Hippo pool where we could experience the sounds and fights of the hippos on our own, before 'the masses' came, very special. Or standing between 10,000 zebras and wildebeest at sunrise and enjoying the 'chatting' of the animals.
Our guide was also a walking bird encyclopedia, spotted a huge number of very special birds, for example also in the wetlands at the Grumeti river or the highlands towards Lake Eyasi. And hunting Cheetahs remain a special phenomenon to watch. Very nice lodge also Nyikani Migration Camp Ndutu with unsurpassed view over the lake with the many Flamingos, Maribu and around it the many Lions, giraffes and elands.
All in all a very successful holiday, perfectly organized by Makasa with an unsurpassed guide. Who knows in the near future again :-).

Unforgettable Experience with Serengeti Silence
Our recent safari in Tanzania was absolutely incredible, and I can’t recommend Serengeti Silence enough for anyone looking for a truly immersive and unforgettable adventure. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations in every way.
Our guide, David, was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the wildlife but also the history and culture of Tanzania. His passion for conservation and wildlife was contagious, and he knew exactly where to go to give us the best chance of spotting rare animals.
The jeep we traveled in was comfortable with large windows that gave us perfect views. The open roof design allowed us to get an up close experience with the wildlife while still being protected. Also Accommodations provided by Serengeti Silence were excellent.
If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, Serengeti Silence is the way to go. Their attention to detail, passion for the wildlife, and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience truly sets them apart.

Our safari tour was absolutely incredible – hands down one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded all our expectations.
The drivers were not only exceptionally punctual, but also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Their passion for wildlife and the region was evident in every moment – they were able to share fascinating facts about every animal we encountered, and thanks to their sharp eyes and experience, we saw an unbelievable amount of wildlife. It felt like every moment was filled with awe and discovery.
Communication with the team was smooth and efficient at all times. Whether it was arranging pick-ups, discussing the itinerary, or handling any questions along the way – everything went flawlessly.
The accommodations were amazing. The tents were comfortable and well-equipped, with access to showers and all the facilities you could need. The campsites and lodges were beautifully located and gave us a true feeling of being close to nature, while still providing plenty of comfort.
Food and drinks were another highlight. Every meal – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – was absolutely delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. We were especially impressed by the attention to detail, such as having a fridge with cold drinks in the vehicle during the drives. It made the whole experience feel even more luxurious.
Throughout the trip, we felt completely safe and well taken care of. The drivers were not only professional and responsible, but also warm-hearted and engaging. Their positive energy and deep respect for nature added so much value to the journey.
All in all, this safari was a magical and unforgettable experience. It was the perfect mix of adventure, comfort, education, and pure joy. A true once-in-a-lifetime memory that we will cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended!

Very nice and informative.
The tour was all in all very nice and i loved it. We saw nearly all the big five except the leopard. The guide was very nice and gave us a lot of information about the animals which I thought was amazing.

Our tour guide Rashid did everything that we could see as many different animals as possible. He was very friendly and told us a lot about his country. We always felt save and comfortable around him. We were spending 8 nights there and the whole tour was very good organized with different accommodations and parks. We booked a private tour for 2 people and the price-performance ratio was great. The lodges were very generous, clean and the food was very good. Every park of all five we visited, were indivitual in nature. All in all very highly recommended!

James is great, I was able to see many animals with him and you can tell he truly cares about them.
