My husband and I joined four other people on a group safari with 14 people for 7 days, and it was absolutely fantastic. The package included full board at all the wonderful lodges and camps, and the only expenses we had were for the cocktails and drinks at the poolside bar at the Highview Hotel and Serengeti Safari Lodge. The food was plentiful and delicious, including the packed picnic lunches we took with us on the game drives. Our driver Shaban was excellent; he was attentive to everyone's needs, and it helped that the other couples also spoke English, making it easy to share the truck. In the end, we all got along well and became great traveling companions. During these 7 days, we saw numerous animals, wonderful sights, and even visited a Maasai village. Shaban was so good that we didn't want the experience to end. I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures.

What an amazing and well organised trip, Jackson and his team did à perfect job To ensure we had a great 2 week holiday. From the airport pick ups, with the unforgettable 7 Days Kilimnjaro trek, Machame Route and to end with a 5 days safari.
A word about the safari…..incredible and grateful to have experienced this, from Tarangire towards Serengeti and Ngorongoro! Amazing to see the wildlife live (🤩🤩), something we will never forget. Big thank you to Yona for being our guide and ensure we had the best view, and ensure we were on time in the really nice lodges every evening. Sleeping in a very comfortable accommodation, hearing the wild animals just next to you is just wow. A private bush dinner was a very appreciated surprise.

An unforgettable experience in Tanzania
We were fortunate enough to take a private safari through the Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, and it was an absolutely spectacular experience. Our guide, Sam, who spoke fluent Spanish, and our driver, Oscar, accompanied us throughout the tour. Both were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout.
Sam shared a wealth of information about the local history, wildlife, and culture, which greatly enriched the trip. Thanks to his knowledge and the great teamwork with Oscar, we were able to see all the animals we dreamed of seeing, from lions and elephants to hippos and giraffes.
The entire service was impeccable: always punctual, with warm hospitality, and a comfortable, well-equipped vehicle. I highly recommend this experience. If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, don't hesitate to do it with them. An adventure of a lifetime we'll never forget!

The service? Flawless. My driver‑guide in the Serengeti knew exactly where to find the animals – one minute we were watching a pride of lions having a lazy brunch, the next we were parked just in time to see a cheetah sprint like it had somewhere very important to be, as a photographer, this was everything for me. Transfers were smooth, no “mystery delays,” and the hotels they booked made me feel like I was in a travel magazine.
Value for money? Let’s just say I’ve paid more for less exciting weekends at home. With Nativity, every shilling felt like it turned into a memory worth framing. Reliability was 100% – I never once worried about missing a pickup, a ferry in Zanzibar, or a tour.

This was a great tour and if I did it again, I would add a couple of more days to relax and enjoy some of the areas.
With any tour, the guide/driver can make or break the entire trip. We were very fortunate to have had Chris, who absolutely made it a great success! He’s very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always on time.
The only thing I would ask Pamba and other tour operators in Uganda is to get together and see if the authorities can invest some of the entrance fees on road maintenance. In particular, the Bwindi area roads are by far the worst we’ve experienced on over 35 tours and game drives in 12 African countries. It’s to be expected roads will be rough, but the ones in Bwindi far exceed the rest in the “African Massage” experience. For what the park’s entrance fee charges are, they could show a little consideration to their customers and grade the roads once in awhile.
