Very experienced, friendly, easy-going, knowledgeable and very caring tour guides.
I was very impressed with my first experience of a real safari in Masai Mara. The 5 hour journey from Nairobi to Masai Mara with my tour guide, Mr. Dennis, left me with many fond memories. Mr. Dennis is very experienced, has extensive knowledge of Masai Mara and is a very honest person who cares deeply about my well-being. Throughout my time with him at Mass Mara, Lake Naivasha & Hell’s Gate, I did not feel bored at all. I felt very entertained.

We honestly had the most amazing time on our safari. From the moment we were picked up for transfers it was a 10/10 experience - all staff were so friendly, the tents were well equipped and a great experience, the camps were wholesome, the food was delicious and the safari's were just the best experience ever! I would recommend it to anyone!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE - WONDERFUL TEAM!!
We had an outstanding 11-day Kenya safari, visiting four locations including Samburu, the Masai Mara, and the Naboisho Conservancy. The trip was beautifully planned, very well organized, and exactly the kind of experience we hoped for.
A few things really stood out:
PLANNING WAS EXCELLENT
This was both a family and a photography-oriented safari so it was specialized. I provided the needs and wants and Dennis developed the itinerary to match.
COMMUNICATION WAS GREAT
Dennis communicated clearly, followed through on every commitment, and went above and beyond when our luggage did not arrive with us. He tracked it down and found a way to get it delivered to us, which was a huge relief.
DRIVERS - JAMES AND STEPHEN - WERE GREAT.
We had drivers arranged by the company for seven days and camp drivers for four days, and all of them were excellent. Their two drivers, James and Stephen, were knowledgeable, informative, very good drivers, and fun to be with. We enjoyed every minute with them. James and Stephen were flexible, responsive to what we wanted to do, and offered options rather than just sticking to a rigid schedule. They were also very protective of us, almost as if they were leading a family vacation. One of our favorite bits of practical safari wisdom was when they explained that the best way to find elephants was to “follow the poop.” It worked!
ANIMALS WERE ABUNDENT!
We saw everything we hoped for including Big Five and Samburu Special Five.
JEEPS WERE PERFECT
The jeeps were comfortable, had excellent open viewing, and there were only the two of us in a six-person vehicle, which made the experience feel private and relaxed.
TOOK CARE OF LITTLE THINGS
At one point, one of us hurt a knee slightly and was having a little trouble getting in and out of the jeep. James noticed without making a big deal of it and borrowed a stepping stool to make it easier. That kind of quiet attention says a lot.
NO SURPRISE COSTS
With a trip like this, you always worry a little about “extras” being added on top of the original bill. In our case, the total extras over 11 days came to only $34, and that was for an option that we chose.
PROBLEMS?
The only problem was the weather. We only had 10 days out of 11 that were great. It rained for a whole hour one day!
IN A NUTSHELL
It was a wonderful safari and a very well-run trip. Experience could not have been better. We would definitely use them again. In fact, we have already started talking about another trip.

What a exceptionnel trip!
We were family with 2 kids (7 and 8) and Galilaya offered us the best memories that we could have dreamt of. Everything was well prepared, they made sure that we had everything we need. The guide was great and we had a chef that followed us and cooked really good food for us. We have seen so many animals and the day to the waterfall was gorgeous as well. I highly recommend them and they were much better price than anywhere else. Thanks again for this memorable adventure!

perfect solo day track
Great wildlife viewing inside arusha national park. Civet adventure safaris structured a solid solo itinerary covering both the open savannah spots and the deep forest tracks. Saw huge troops of baboons, giraffes, and beautiful birdlife near the water. Very transparent operation, no hidden vehicle fees at the gate.
Professional, outstanding, fun; in booking, coordination, pre/post climb and safari. All covered.
Coordination with the agents was faultless. Clear comms, great options and always followed up and delivered on queries/changes.

The trip was managed perfectly from flight landing to movement between climb/safari points.
The Kilimanjaro climb team were amazing. Very professional/knowledgeable, focused on getting all to the top safely, looking after each as needed.

The staff at the various accommodations were friendly and pleasant.
Altezza seems to have got everything right, the team in Tanzania all seem extremely happy working for them - and it shows in the delivery.

Edwin safaris was our first choice and it was absolutely amazing. There are not enough words to describe how amazing they are. From the very beginning, the communication was excellent and Peter answer every question of ours. Everything was perfectly organized and we felt completely safe and ready for our adventure thanks to him.
The biggest thank is going to our driver/guide Lonic. He was the most amazing person in this world. He was always taking care of us and making sure that we felt comfortable for the whole journey including the long drive between each parks but he was also constantly cheerful and positive. He had and incredible knowledge about wildlife, nature, local culture and always delivered to us interesting things to better understand not only the wildlife but also the culture of this beautiful country. It really felt like traveling with a friend who loves his country and what he does. Thanks to him, we saw so many animals and have so many experiences.
The whole safari had a wonderful atmosphere and Lonic become a part of our small group. Every day brought new experiences and memories that we will cherish for the rest of our life.
Kenya, its nature, people, culture was for us a new experience that we never had before and that we never forget how amazing this country is.
