Absolut excellent experience
We were extremely satisfied with the entire safari experience. The tour was very well organized, the service was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, attentive, and always made every effort to ensure that we were as satisfied as possible. The quality of the experience was outstanding and we felt that it offered great value for money. We would absolutely recommend this tour and would book with them again!

Absolutely incredible safari experience with an amazing guide
My friend and I did a 6 night, 7 day safari through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli with Explorers Wild Adventures and we had an amazing experience. All of our interactions with Explorers Wild Adventures went very smoothly and the logistics were all handled very well by them. We did their "mid-tier" lodging package and each lodge we stayed in was very nice and had good food. The price was also less than similar safaris with other companies.
The true highlight of our experience was our guide Zachary. He is a very kind, thoughtful, and caring person, and he is extremely talented and experienced at his craft. He has been guiding for 15+ years and his experience was palpable, he consistently spotted animals we never would have found on our own, and often saw animals that other guides had just driven by without seeing. He was very knowledgeable about all of the animals we saw, he knew the answers to our many questions about the animals and ecology off the top of his head, and his English was very good. He was also very good at identifying birds, which not all safari guides are able to do. He was good at positioning the Land Cruiser so we could get great photos. We learned so much from him and saw far more animals than we'd expected, including seeing the "Big 5" plus many more animals all in one day at Masai Mara. Zachary is a true master of his craft as a safari guide.
Each park we visited was very different and it was nice to see the variety of locations throughout Kenya, but if I did it again I would spend additional time at Masai Mara, the density of animals there is far greater than any other park we visited.
I would highly recommend Explorer's Wild Adventures for a smooth and unforgettable safari experience, and ask to work with Zachary if he's available.

Bruce the superstar
I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough. The entire 3-day trip was incredibly well organised from start to finish, and everything ran smoothly throughout.
A massive special mention has to go to my guide, Bruce. He was absolutely unbelievable and genuinely went above and beyond to make the trip as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he even went out of his way to help me with things that were well outside what I would have expected from a guide.
Bruce’s knowledge of Uganda, the wildlife, local culture and the gorilla trekking experience was first class. He was always happy to answer questions, explain what we were seeing and share his knowledge along the way. On top of that, he was incredibly friendly, professional and great company for the entire three days.
The gorilla trek itself was an unforgettable experience, but having Bruce as our guide made the whole trip even better. He is an absolute credit to the company and I couldn’t speak more highly of him.
If you’re considering booking a gorilla trekking trip, I would 100% recommend this company — and if you get the chance to have Bruce as your guide, you’re in very good hand's. Thanks again Bruce for an amazing few

It’s always hard to choose something over the internet, trusting others’ feedback without even knowing them, but we’re very happy ho have chosen this company. Being in a jeep for six to seven hours a day with our guide, Kelvin, was never hard. He is super prepared and always available to accommodate you. Tanzania is amazing, and this trip will always be one of the best we could ever make. Thanks again, Kelvin, for everything!! If you are insecure, go for it; you will not be disappointed!! ✨✨

Zachary is an incredible safari guide, ask for him.
We got paired with Zachary as our driver and safari guide, and let me say that the entire trip we were thanking our luck that we had Zachary as our guide. He is an veteran guide, expert driver, and a genuinely amazing human being.
The entire trip, we felt taken care of. Zachary always went the extra effort to make sure we felt like our safari was a success. It always seemed like he was just as excited about seeing the animals as we were, which was cool that you can tell he enjoys his job. Additionally, it is clear he is a very experienced guide as he knew essentially every question we had off the top of his head.
Beyond knowing facts, a very important part of guiding is being at the right place at the right time. This is something that Zachary seemed to have a near superhuman ability to do. Of course all of the guides work together, but often Zachary was a leader rather than just a follower.
We did a mid-range safari and all lodging and food was good. We did 2 days Maasai Mara, 1 day Nakuru, 1 day Naivasha, and 2 days Amboseli. As a first Safari, we were glad to see the variety of parks and landscapes in Kenya. In the future I would consider spending more time in Maasai Mara due to the insane density of animals there. We saw the big 5 in just one day!
Overall Explorers Wild Adventures had good communication with us prior to the safari. I recommend using them and specifically asking for Zachary! You will be happy you did.

Tour guide Dennis Hinga saved our experience
It was a dream come true for us. We got Dennis Hinga as our tour guide and he was the BEST! He was so nice and humble. Plus he spotted the animals quite efficiently for us and made the vehicle stop at the right spots for the best view! But the communication from Jocky could have been better. Thank you for this wonderful experience!!

They completely customized the itinerary according to our needs. Our guide, Raymond, was highly professional at spotting wildlife—we were lucky enough to see leopards and cheetahs multiple times!

Tesher, our Tan Safari driver and guide, was excellent. His English is good, he is familiar with all the species names, how they leave and much more. He has huge motivation to show more and more animals. He is flexible and adjusted the plan according to our requests. We felt very safe near lions….
