3 days on More Game Reserve
Overall rating
5/5

I had the chance to spend 3 nights and 4 days in the area of the Okavango Delta/ More Game reserve. Me and my girlfriends stayed at Okavango River Lodge, really nice location with a bar/restaurant right next to the river where you can see a beautiful sunset every evening.

The reserve is a beautiful area where I had the chance to see Hippos, a mother lioness with her cubs, group of hyenas and lots (lots lots lots) of Elephants. We had a large group cross the road all around us one day when we were returning from the reserve. Rhinos are very hard to see at Moremi but not impossible, seems the local anti-poaching unit is keeping the Rhinos on a more restricted area deep within the delta so the Rhino population can be boosted up. As for the driving, Moremi does allow for self drive but I do not recommend it for the average tourist(my case). The road condition is fine as long as it is dry and you stick to the main roads within the reserve. On the secondary roads there are no signs and you pretty much have to be offroading for a good amount of time, chances of getting lost are not low there.

The guides know how to get you in and out of the best spots to see Wildlife without you having to worry to step out of the car to lock your differentials in the same area where you saw a pride of Lions the day before :)

So my overall suggestion is to book a guided a tour within the reserve, bring your camera and your tele lens if you have one and enjoy.

The Okavango delta boat tour gives you the chance to see elephants along the shallow parts, water birds, eagles, crocodiles. You have to be lucky to see water buffalos but it is possible. We did not see any :(

5 day safari with gorilla tracking
5/5

We went on a five (5) day safari at the end of July 2017. Michael was our guide and he was amazing! We could not have asked for a better person to take us on our journey. He was knowledgeable about every place we visited as well as the places we drove through to and from Kampala. We now consider him a friend after spending so much time with him.

Our safari included a tour of Kampala (with a visit to the Palace), gorilla tracking (don't miss out on this adventure if you are in Uganda - it was incredible!), a safari drive where we saw tree climbing lions, antelope, so many baboons, elephants and buffalo along with many bird species. Michael has excellent eyes to spot even the furthest off animal. We also went on a boat tour of the Kazinga Channel and stayed at the Bush Lodge (another must do!) Our final day had us going chimpanzee tracking before driving back to Kampala.

All of our accomodations (we chose the "moderate" category) were top notch. We were treated respectfully and greeted with that beautiful Ugandan smile that we became used to at every location.

This was the experience of a lifetime made possible by Simba Africa Expeditions and Alex our guide!
5/5

This experience truly met and exceeded my every expectation! Alex our guide was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, professional, punctual, reliable, and kind. We knew immediately we were in good hands upon meeting Alex. The lodges we stayed in during our safari were top notch. The chimpanzee trekking and mountain gorilla trekking both went perfect with us getting up close to both. I cannot possibly say enough great things about the experience, Simba Africa Expeditions, and most importantly our guide Alex. I would recommend this to anyone!

Fish Eagle Safari
5/5

The highlight of a Zambezi canoe safari is the opportunity to observe and sometimes interact with wildlife from a river level perspective. The knowledge and experience of the guides is essential in navigating the river snags and never ending supply of hippos and crocodiles that keep popping up in front of your canoe. A special commendation to our guides Zera and Kenneth for keeping us safe, informed and well fed.

From ease of booking, to transfers, camping logistics and generally keeping visitors safe on the river, Natureways have really put in a 5 star performance. They have made it impossible not to have a most memorable experience.

Great advise, seamless itinerary, wonderful accomodation and guides = perfect east african adventure
5/5

Great safari holiday was had by all. Perfect contrast in accommodation starting with Wayo Manyara Green camp complete with bucket showers and dining under the stars, through to glamping at Nasikia Naona Moru in Central Serengeti and the sheer luxury of Lemala Kuria Hills.Food was amazing given where you were. We travelled as a family of 5 and had doubles and triples all the way and it worked perfectly. Guides went out of their way to ensure that we had the best experience (thanks Shatri / Baraka) and saw it all - even a couple of black rhino's. Nice easy start to holiday with 2 nights in Arusha to get over jet lag, and a relaxing finish in Zanzibar (stone town and Nungwi). Truly amazing!

Very professional company, everything well-organised.
5/5

As a family we were very satisfied. From the same beginning everything was well-organised. The camp (Panorama) was nice, facilities ok, also a tent, atmosphere great. Our guide (Abraham) was fantastic, he knows a lot about animals and their habits. Also a chef was great and he cooked delicious meals.

Safari + Zanzibar
5/5

Excellent service and always on time. Safari trip was amazing with guide Emanuel, who is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. Very honest and always at right place at right time. Recommended Regional all the way especially Emanuel, who always went his extra mile for us to make the most of this experience.

Pre-travelling communication was a bit slow but Maturaf has even reached out to us on Messenger to put our minds at rest that all was being taken care of. During our trip he was in constant contact and he even went out of his way to book our ferry tickets from Dar Es Salaam for our transfer back home.

All Communication with Norbert Before the trip was fast, easy and very informative. Our guide Safiri and our chef Rachidi were the most Lovely persons we have met. Everything was excelent organized during the tour, we were picked up at our hotel in Dar and they were very flexible and listened to our wishes all the time. The car was nice and comfortable. Safiri was very good of finding the most Beautiful animals and good at birds too. Rachidi made the food with lots of love.
It´s a long trip to go to Ruaha but it´s definitely Worth it, it was our favorite Place.
We definitely recommend everyone to go with Selous Explorer! You will be very satified!

Absolutely loved it - 8 day Lemosho Route
5/5

We took the 8 day Lemosho route. Enosa is not one of the larger tour operators which means that you are traveling in a smaller group. We were four (father son and two brothers from another tour operators) and had a support staff of 17. Great guides: Danny, Brighton, Great cook: Walter, Great Waiter: J4 and the porters. They made the climb possible for us.
