Comfortable Camping Experience with an Amazing Guide
5/5

We had an excellent tour with Shipungo and this safari was a great way to see animals in Botswana. We did a 5 night 6 day safari in multiple locations across the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park. We chose the nicest tent / food options for the entire safari. Not everything matched the amenities listed (e.g. tent was slightly different than described, less breakfast, and didn't get the cheese at dinner) however, we felt that the experience was more than worth it and that we got some things we weren't expecting (e.g. additional game drives). The hot shower and unlimited drinks (water, soft drinks, coffee, alcoholic drinks) were listed amenities that we particularly enjoyed. Our guide, Cain, was absolutely amazing. We've been on several safaris and he was by far the most knowledgable guide we've had. We told him lions were our favorite animals and he did a great job of prioritizing those sightings. We saw many animals including 18 adult lions and 11 cubs across multiple sightings. The team managing the camp was also great, they did an excellent job setting everything up and keeping us comfortable. The food was really tasty and filling, which was surprising with the isolated campgrounds we were staying at. This was our first time doing a camping safari (previously stayed in lodges) and we would definitely do this again. The campgrounds were inside the safari areas and we could hear the animals all around us at night. Overall, we felt this was a well organized safari and we were happy with our experience.

A truly wonderful experience, taking us to the African savanna and allowing us to see all the animals from The Lion King.

A huge thank you to our guides, Festo and Noreen, who patiently explained animal habits and helped us find animal tracks throughout the journey. The road was dusty, and we even witnessed a car accident, so the guides' experience was invaluable. Besides leading us to see the animals, they also ensured our safety throughout the entire trip.

The trip was perfect; I saw all the animals I wanted to see, and the service was thoughtful and warm.

Our guide, Festo, was very experienced on a safari, taking us to see the Leopard three times, the Cheetah three times, and all five of the Big Five. The service was warm and attentive throughout, with him repeatedly adjusting the vehicle's position to accommodate our photography needs.

Customer first, very helpful, great explanation on animals
5/5

Totally worth the money, had a great experience in the safari. For starters, both of the tour guides were very welcoming from the start and prioritized the needs of the consumers no matter what. They would always ask if we needed anything or if we had to go to the bathroom. Additionally, during the safari, they would try their best so that you would get to see the most exotic scenery possible and whenever you have any questions about the animals or nature, they would have the answer. Above all, what made the experience special was not only the safari itself, but that we would also share memories with the guides themselves as well. Overall it was a great experience and definitely one I wouldn’t forget.

I had an amazing experience with Summer Winter Africa Adventures during my Tanzania safari. From the beginning to the end, everything was well organized and smooth.
Our guide was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He knew where to find the animals and shared a lot of interesting information about wildlife and local culture. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see many amazing animals, including lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many more.
The itinerary was well planned, the accommodations were comfortable, and the communication before and during the trip was always helpful. The team was friendly and responsible, making us feel safe and relaxed throughout the journey.
This safari was truly an unforgettable adventure and one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Summer Winter Africa Adventures to anyone who wants to explore Tanzania. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories for us!

Wonderful !
5/5

The service was extremely reliable: everything went exactly as planned, with no negative surprises. Transfers were flawless, and the drivers and guides were kind and highly professional.

Great value for money — excellent hotels within the budget we set.

The tour itself was exceptional. Matobo Hills was incredible — we saw rhinos, including a baby rhino. The wildlife throughout the trip was amazing: cheetahs, lions, elephants, zebras, sable antelopes, hyenas, and buffalos. At Hwange, elephants came to drink water right in front of the hotel every morning.

Victoria Falls was breathtaking, and Cape Town offered stunning urban sightseeing and scenery.

I highly recommend Off2Africa and Robyn for anyone looking for a well-organized, stress-free trip to Africa.

Great provider of safari adventures
5/5

We did a 10 days tour: Olpejeta-Nakuru- Masai Mara- Naivasha- Ambosseli. Lucy from Axis Africa was very responsive organized everything very quick communicated through WhatsApp and email. Price for the entire trip was reasonable. 4 hotels were very good to amazing, one hotel was good/ok . Food everywhere was really good if you do not have dietary restrictions. They all have many vegetarian options but vegan is really hard. They did their best. Talk to the chef in each place and they will help you. Our Guide Ben was amazing, he is a wiz in finding the animals and in putting us as close as possible to them in a great angle to get the best pictures. We saw many Cheetahs, Leopards, lions and cubs, black and white Rhinos, many birds, giraffes, zebras antelopes, hippos, etc. one more important note, the poverty here was heart breaking. Support the locals by buying from them leaving tips and giving food you do not eat to the Masai and other tribes at the parks gates when possible. I felt heart broken to see their conditions while we are enjoying best services enjoying their country.

The Best! Knows Botswana's animals, landscapes - leads a Great Team that made each day a delight!
5/5

What an amazing, fantastic, and delicious experience we had with Sam Mopalo and his wonderful Early Kingfisher Safari team! From the first day we set off in Sam’s Land Rover, we saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants, buffalo—including cubs and calves—all so much closer than you can imagine. We saw zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, wart hogs, all sorts of antelopes--and hundreds of gorgeous, colorful birds. We saw them racing, stretching and yawning, nuzzling, sipping water, battling one another, and tearing into prey—it was magical to see so many different animals—and to be so close. Friends who went with Early Kingfisher last summer highly recommended this trip—raving about the warmth and professionalism of Sam’s team, the delicious food, the comfy beds/tents, and warm showers under the stars -- and it was all even better than advertised! We couldn’t believe the gourmet meals and beautiful presentation the Early Kingfisher team produced—including accommodating vegetarian and specific diet needs. Every day was a delight! Sam didn’t need GPS—he knew where and when to find the animals and birds, the best camera angles, and always—the spectacular dawn and dusk landscapes. Once you are in that Land Rover driving through “the bush”, you quickly understand why an expert guide—who can handle any situation—is essential. Sam’s immense practical experience, encyclopedic knowledge of the flora and fauna of Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, and all Botswana’s national treasures – including the stars we could see from around our nightly campfire – made us feel safe and well cared for. I’ve traveled widely, but had never been anywhere in Africa and didn’t realize how much I would love Botswana! Thank you Sam and Early Kingfisher team for an incredible experience! Hope to see you again.

Extremely friendly and reliable local tour operator
5/5

We had such a great day on our safari at Nairobi National Park. From the point of booking, the communication was really good and everything was easy to arrange.

We booked the private 4x4 full-day tour and it was very much worth it. Having the whole day and not being rushed made such a difference.

Kelvin was an amazing guide. He was really knowledgeable, flexible, and clearly knew the park inside out. We managed to get so close to the rhinos, which was definitely one of the highlights, and he made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each sighting without feeling like we had to move on. Make sure to reserve at the Sheldrick Elephant Center too!

If you're in Nairobi, I'd definitely recommend doing this, especially if you don't have time for a longer safari. It's honestly one of the best things I've done in all my travels, and it's incredible that you can even have this kind of safari experience so close to the city - I would have never imagined it since I came here for work. I'd love to come back and do a multi-day safari with Kelvin in the future.
