It was for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and they had Embalaki Camps surprise us with an anniversary dinner! Lastly they included a special stop to the Gorge! They genuinely care about your experience and are amazing to work with on planning the perfect safari!

Fantastic experience! Everyone we met was helpful, friendly, and reliable. The tour itself was better than we imagined! We saw all the animals we wanted to see even after picking a shorter safari. The lodge we stayed in was very nice with great service. Would definitely go back and do a longer safari!

Amazing service! We stayed in a great lodge with buffet style food and extremely welcoming staff. Our guide was wonderful and we saw 4 out of the big 5 along with many other animals. He personalized the tour to us and was very flexible. I would definitely want to go back!

Great trip to Kenya and Tanzania
We had a wonderful time in Kenya and Tanzania. Freddy our guide in Kenya to Amboseli for a pre-Tanzania tour, was excellent. He knew exactly where to park so we had a large herd of elephants cross our vehicle. Oskar, our guide for the tour through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania, was excellent. We saw lions hunting as well as lions feasting on a buffalo, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras and much more. Also saw many species of amazing birds. Would highly recommend this tour.

Semu Gorilla Safaris and Tours was a complete God send. We decided to take a short trip to Murchison Falls and do the big 5 game tour. First I’ll say, out of many different companies I contacted, Edison was the most responsive and gave the best presentation of the different options. The entire process was clear and detailed. From being greeted at our hotel, everything in between and finally delivered back, Edison made for the most pleasant and memorable experience that exceeded every expectation. We received a wealth of knowledge and history about the region along the way, and enjoyed friendly and fun exchanges. We all fell in love with Uganda and when we make it back to see the other parks, there’s no question we’ll be looking up Edison at Semu Gorilla Safaris.

It was the greatest decision 👏. This experience was immensely improved by our Guide Mulugeta. He spent with us two weeks traveling around destiniations we chosen and was dealing with situations calmly, professionally and with zero stress. He managed ahead local guides, transportation, hotels restaurants and made comunication with locals light and easy.
With him we traveled a lot. Visited Lalibela churches in stone, hiked Tigray national park. Enjoyed Simien national park scenery on a few days hike with mules :) climbed ton of churches that were high on hills and carved in stone. Swam in salty lakes, visited volcano and depression Dankill.
