Transparent, Flexible, Fantastic
5/5

It was a fantastic time! Everything was customised to our needs, from the time in each location, accommodation options, and our guide...everything. I especially appreciated how they conducted themselves during the sales process. I spoke with six companies, and I had the best feeling with Soul of Tanzania. Many other companies were limited to which accommodations they worked with, but SoT seemed very flexible. In fact, I accidentally booked a year ahead, and at the last minute, they reorganised the entire trip in only a day (during high season) to make it work. They were also very transparent in their pricing, which was great. I would highly recommend them.

Thoughtful customer service, professional tour guides, and reasonable itinerary arrangements
5/5

1.They have a dedicated Chinese-speaking sales named Yuanyuan, who is highly professional in aspects such as itinerary planning, reminder of precautions, and emergency response.
2.Albert is an extremely professional safari guide. He has received specialized training in knowledge about various animal species, enabling him to identify different types of animals promptly and quickly find the corresponding explanations in the animal handbook. He has incredibly "Eagle eyes" which allow him to spot well-hidden animals in the distance, such as cheetahs. Additionally, he has an extensive network of friends which help obtain useful information from other guides in real time, helping us catch sight of the Big Five and the "Crossing of the Mara River".
3.The itinerary arrangement for Zanzibar is also excellent. The local guide, Deco, is a wonderful person. He graduated from one of the top three universities in Tanzania and has unique insights into the local culture and history. Highly recommended.

A reliable, stable, and responsible tour operator.
5/5

I booked my safari with this company back in May. I compared them with other tour operators, and the owner, Francisco, was my main point of contact. Before the trip, what stood out to me was his professionalism and prompt responses. Even when I frequently changed hotel preferences, he always provided updated quotes and reasonable suggestions in a timely manner.

During the trip, all the accommodations were as expected, with no last-minute changes. The vehicle was in good condition, and our guide cleaned it daily. It had air conditioning and charging ports, which was very convenient.

Our guide was slightly older but very experienced. He shared extensive knowledge about geography, culture, and wildlife, and was highly proactive in tracking animals. On the day we were looking for black rhinos, for instance, hardly any other vehicles spotted them, but our guide drove us around extensively until we finally succeeded—helping us complete the Big Five! That said, perhaps due to his personality and age, he came across as a bit more serious compared to some of the younger guides. Shyer travelers might find him a little reserved.

Overall, the safari was excellent. Everything went as smoothly as planned, with no unexpected issues—I even overheard people from other vehicles mentioning problems like vehicle breakdowns, getting lost, or even accidents. I highly recommend Lappet-faced!

By the way, I learned from our guide that the company is named after a vulture commonly found in Africa. We spotted many of them out on the plains.

Safari soles was an amazing experience from beginning to end!
5/5

We booked a 3 day fly in fly out Serengeti safari and it was everything we hoped it would be! We took our kids and we all had an amazing experience. Joseph, our safari guide was incredible. He was educated about the animals and the environment. He taught us so much and we saw so many amazing animals. It was a trip of a lifetime! We would highly recommend using Safari soles to book your experience!

Perfect trip
5/5

Starting from March to October, both before and during the trip, the boss and customer service responded very quickly. The guide Albert was also very nice, professional, humorous, and up-to-date with WeChat, which was very convenient to contact. Highly recommended

Logistically and financially disorganised
1/5

While the safari experience itself was good, I unfortunately had a very negative experience with Roju Safaris regarding a refund. Due to a payment error on my side, I overpaid them. I immediately reported the mistake, and they acknowledged it, but it took them more than three months to process the refund claiming they were having financial difficulties.
When the refund was finally made, they deducted 9% without any clear explanation, far beyond what a bank fee would reasonably be. After holding my money for months, this lack of transparency and fairness left me with a very disappointing impression.
What’s worse, I had to involve the Kenyan Tourism Regulatory Authority in order to get the refund processed, something that should never have been necessary if the company had acted responsibly from the beginning.
Travelers should be aware that while their tours may run smoothly, they may not follow the schedule you were given. The way Roju Safaris handled my case showed a lack of professionalism and honesty in financial matters.

About: West Wild
It was a journey that would be unforgettable for a lifetime.
5/5

Our safari trip with West Wild was nothing short of extraordinary, and it all started with their exceptionally responsible guides. From the moment we met, they went above and beyond—sharing in-depth knowledge of the savanna, adjusting our itinerary flexibly to chase the best views, and ensuring every detail of our safety and comfort was covered.

We witnessed the migration crossing the Mara River, a sight we’ll never forget. To top it off, we successfully spotted the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo)—a feat the guides made possible with their sharp eyes and deep understanding of animal behavior.

If you’re planning a safari in Africa, West Wild is hands down the best choice. Their professionalism, passion, and commitment to creating unforgettable moments make them highly recommended!

My first Safari trip
4/5

My first safari trip was wonderful memory and experience. Good recommendation and arrangement by Ways Of Africa - Thank you! The area concerned me was, late response for the final confirmation of the agenda and payment as it took longer time that required several approaches from my ends.
