Excellent Experience that was well organised and smooth
We loved our trip to Uganda and that was a large part due to the services of Wild Uganda - booking with them was incredibly smooth, and they were very receptive to customising and making changes for us when we wanted to go somewhere slightly different. They handled everything. It was so nice to travel where all of the accommodation, food, travel, guiding and activities were professionally handled ahead of time. All of the accommodation was fantastic for the price we paid, and we liked the inclusion of a few community lodges as well. While the car was a bit old, that seemed normal for the area and it did the job / didn't let us down! The roads were also generally quite good in most places, making the travel easy.
Benjamin Aine was our guide-driver and he was excellent. He was very communicative, polite, friendly and professional. He had good knowledge of the wildlife and birds for the drives he guided us on and provided excellent commentary and information about all of the places we visited and also taught us a little about the cultures and lives of the people living in Uganda.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Uganda as a destination, and Wild Uganda as a tour company.

An incredible safari experience!
This trip was booked as a part of a birthday celebration and did not disapoint!
From the outset we were really well catered for. The vehicles were comfortable and clean, the accommodation was beautiful and the food quality was wonderful.
Jerry was our guide and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
We saw so much wildlife! Favourites would be the Rhinos, Hippopotamus and Leopard in a tree after killing his prey!
Would highly recommend!

I joined a 5-day safari with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris, and overall I had a really memorable and enjoyable experience.
During the trip, I visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, and I was lucky enough to see so many amazing animals, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and even a wildebeest river crossing, which was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Our guide worked hard to find the animals and communicated with other guides to give us the best possible game-drive experience. Even when plans changed or there were things that needed to be coordinated, the staff stayed in contact with me through WhatsApp and tried their best to help.
On my last day, I had an evening flight from Arusha, and they kept checking with the driver to make sure I could get to the airport on time. I really appreciated how much they cared about this until the very end.
The camping safari was definitely an adventure, but that was also part of what made the experience special. I felt safe throughout the five days and came home with so many unforgettable memories.
Thank you to the whole team for taking care of me. I would happily recommend Zanzi Trekking and Safaris to other travelers, especially Korean travelers looking for a real safari experience in Tanzania! 😊

Fantastic tour when short on time
We had only 2 days due to other commitments and FIF(T) organised a fantastic 2 day trip for our private group. Our guide Jerry was amazing; parks, accommodation and food were great; and while necessarily short I felt we had a memorable first safari experience. Highly recommended!

Good
The safari itself was a great experience, but unfortunately the organization was really not up to standard. We experienced several issues with communication and transportation. We had informed the team in advance that we had large pieces of luggage, but when our taxi arrived more than an hour late, we were told that we could not take our luggage with us. This caused unnecessary stress, especially as we were not returning to the same hotel. However, after discussing the situation with the team, they were understanding and we eventually found a solution. We appreciated their understanding and were happy to finish our experience on a positive note. Overall, the safari was great, but the organization and communication definitely need to be improved.

We feel cheated
They take your money, then cancel the tour half a day before the safari and don't refund the money. They don't respond to messages either!

Caxstone was a skilled and careful driver who handled the rough tracks very well, though the agency
Caxstone was a good game drive guide and driver. He handled the vehicle well, especially on the rough roads and tracks, and we always felt safe during the drives. He was also patient and professional throughout the trip.
There was some confusion regarding the hot air balloon schedule, as the time communicated by the booking agency was different from the actual arrangement, and we were not informed of the change in advance. This was frustrating and could have been avoided with better communication from the agency.
That said, Caxstone himself was helpful and did a good job during the game drives.

Super duper!
We had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable safari. We witnessed everything we’d hoped for, including the wildebeest river crossing. We even saw things we didn’t expect: crocodile hunts, lion hunts and cheetah hunts!! Nature is brutal yet authentic.
Our guide George was incredibly professional. He didn’t just blindly follow other vehicles. He knew all the best spots and always managed to find delightful surprises. He told us stories about the animals and shared lighthearted jokes with us. Safari was more than just wildlife viewing — we gained insight into the reasons behind animal behaviours.
He was also very tidy!! With all the dust on the roads, he cleaned the vehicle thoroughly every single day!! The whole trip was so comfortable.
