Parks are awesome! An effort to be done dealing with pollution outside...

We had great time with our nice driver and great cooker during this week in the main parks of Tanzania! It was worth it; just hope human beings would change their minds about nature preservation and help our children see these species for a looooong future.

Great communication
4/5

Just came back from 8 Day Safari organised by "Karibu Safaris in Kenya". Robert from Karibu Safaris Office, has been great to deal with, as all E-Mails were promptly answered. Also Safari was organised very well with all my special requests catered for. Example- Robert was able to provide 4WD specially modified for photography. Driver/Guide Simat & assistant Richard have been wonderful companions, with a wealth of knowledge. Thank U Robert for organising this wonderful Safari.

good quality price
4/5

all very correct. Mika very helpful, he helped us with a lost suitcase.
Martin the driver the best we could have. Fast, efficient and polite
The worst is the hotel where they book us up the first day (Embassy) and some of the meals, but that no longer depends on them

Very thoughtfull and accomodating.

Hakuna Matata. My family and I travelled last July to Tanzania and Kenia for a 15 day National Park safaris. (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengetti, Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli).

Everything worked out very well, George was making sure everything was ok continously.
Most of the hotels were very nice and food was great.

It was a good value for your money trip, however, crossing the border from Tanzania to Kenia by Jeep was too long and tiring, would look for other options.
Apparently, soon there might be a crossborder cooperation between both countries that would help tourism between countries greatly.
Ezequiel driver in Tanzania was amazing, cheerfull and accomodating.

The experience was magical
4/5

The accommodations for the first night of our stay was sketchy at best !!! - when we transferred to our "tree house" camp, the accommodations were as expected and honestly, a step up from where we stayed the first night. The tours were fantastic - the drives/guides were knowledgeable and the vehicles were great - we spotted all the animals we wanted to see (except a Leopard) - was a great time of the year to go on Safari (warm days and cool nights/mornings) - also, since it's outside of the "rainy" season, the vegetation made for great animal spotting! Overall, the experience was fantastic!

Excellent but ask about tips!
4/5

7 day Machame route on Kilimanjaro followed by 3 day safari at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Trek was excellent. Guide was great, food fantastic (especially given we were camping on a mountain!). We finished in 6 days which we appreciated (as we were all able to summit successfully). Only issue here was with tips. We tipped the recommended amount according to the Tanzanian Porters Association but the guides and porters had been told to expect two-three times more. I would encourage speaking to Cubs when booking to clarify what exactly the expected tipping situation is. Especially as the staff were all so fantastic!

Safari was great. We didn’t see as many of the rare animals as we had been hoping but not through any fault of our guide. The camping was fine, but be aware that if you are in a group with an odd number of people you will be asked to share a tent with someone else. Perhaps to be expected for a shared safari but I think worth mentioning upfront.

Overall, we definitely recommend Cubs for both trekking and safaris (especially given their low price compared to most other companies) and it would have been 5/5 if the above issues had been mentioned to us beforehand so we knew better what to expect.

Amazing Times in Africa
4/5

Our safari started in Victoria Falls when Musa picked us up and introduced himself as our tour guide and driver. Musa was amazing and I can't speak highly enough of his knowledge, care of us and his sense of humour. Having our own personal guide and being able to negotiate our activities was wonderful, albeit we took part in all the activities he had planned anyway. However, when we needed to purchase something he always took us safely to the best place. Our trips in the car between lodges and hotels was so informative as he had a wealth of knowledge about Zimbabwe, the people and also was knowledgeable about other African countries.
The animal safaris in Chobe and Hwange were everything we had imagined and more. Our accommodation was comfortable and varied, ranging from lodges to a safari tent. The food offered at all places was simple, but delicious.
The activities planned outside of safari rides were enjoyable and informative - Dinner cruise on the Zambesi River, afternoon cruise on the Chobe River, visiting the Painted Dogs Information Centre, Elephant Shopping Area, Victoria Falls and visiting a subsistence farm.
Africa Uncovered are to be congratulated for providing such a great experience.
