Best Safari experience among the 3 I took in KE/TZ
First off, Daudi was the best tour guide we had during our 2 week stay in East Africa, we took a 2-day Amboseli private safari for a couple. We have taken 3 safaris from 3 diff operators and Kenya Bush was the best by far, all thanks to Daudi's calm demeanor, excellent communication skills in English, extensive knowledge of the animals (all the species, their habits, some fun anecdotes, etc. ) and the national park. Not just the safari, I also particularly enjoyed the discussions on culture, East Africa in general and the ways of living in Kenya, this was a wholesome experience. He was also very punctual and ensured we never had delays, he even went above and beyond to help us get some urgent stuff from a supermarket in the desolate location and also ensured we reached Nairobi on time for my wife's doc appointment.
Bottomline: If you want a knowledgeable safari operator who's very respectful and cooperative, look no further!

We cannot not recommend Nafika highly enough. Professional and fun. Look no further.
Our family of 5 trekked to the top of Kili with Nafika and had a memorable experience even with a cold and cloudy summit day. Elias made the pre-voyage organisation easy. Our guides Aloyise, Max and Frank were kind, fun knowledgeable - they were concerned for our health and made the trek easy and enjoyable. Arnold our cook was a star, even magically baking a cake for my wife's birthday even though he only learned about it the morning of.
Nafika is highly professional, locally owned and makes the trek a luxurious experience. The team ensured our camps were always set up in the best spots, that we never went hungry and always felt safe and cared for including the daily health checks for everyone (oxygen levels, blood pressure etc) and private toilet.

Wilson was a very good driver and knows the park very well,.
I think that the experience was very good in terms of accommodation, I think the food was very decent overall and the staff was very nice. Specially Allan, Hellen and Tommy. The cars were great. I personally wasn’t satisfied with the fact that the driver was very persistent about stopping in a Massai town. In my opinion we are paying for a safari, not for a town tour, and though the driver listened to us, I did not like that there was a lot of persistence about it. Nonetheless, Wilson ensured that we saw almost everything, and listened to our needs when we needed them.

Unforgettable Safari in Tanzania
My daughter and I chose Simbaland Tours after careful consideration and after meeting with them and other companies in person in Arusha, as we were spending some time in Tanzania and had the chance to do so, rather than booking online only. From Heavenlight, we received fantastic communication and clear answers to all my questions. After visiting their office in Arusha, my daughter didn’t want to go with anyone else. Even though we had some unexpected issues at the beginning, they were fixed promptly, thanks to their clear communication and service. I am happy we chose Simbaland Tours. We were also glad to meet the boss, David, who was very clear in communication (something that is very important to me), and we had a great time on safari with Dominicks and Owen, who were fantastic and very knowledgeable guides. Amazing safari in Mikumi
We enjoyed an amazing weekend in Mikumi with Julius! The booking was easy, communication perfect and we could move around the schedule flexibly. He put in lots of effort to show us as much as possible and we truly enjoyed our time. The little road trip from Dar es Salaam to the park was also lovely. We were able to enjoy some landscape. Would wholeheartedly recommend and book again!

Amazing African Safari Experience!
We had an unforgettable 5-day safari in Kenya with Axis African Safaris, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the trip was organized seamlessly with clear communication, and a well-planned itinerary that allowed us to see the best of Kenya in just a few days - Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate Park.
Our guide and driver, Tom was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, birds, and landscapes, but he also had a great eye for spotting animals we never would have seen on our own. Thanks to his expertise!

From planning to game drives Morningstar delivered a flawless safari experience for our whole family
So where do I begin? An African safari is the stuff of dreams, often planned months or even years in advance. We, however, decided in July to travel in August, with just a month to plan what turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.
I began by reading reviews on Tripadvisor and Safaribookings and contacted four to five companies. In the end, I narrowed it down to Morningstar and another very highly reputed operator with nearly flawless reviews. What tipped the scales in Morningstar’s favor was one person: Joysharon. She was prompt, flexible, and genuinely willing to work with both our budget and our preferred lodges. Most importantly, she was always accessible — whether on WhatsApp, email, or phone. I asked her countless questions, and she was consistently patient, kind, and helpful. She stayed in touch before, during, and even after our trip, which truly set her apart. Payments were also easy and stress-free. Unlike many others, Morningstar never pressured us to pay too early. I was able to settle the balance just a couple of days before departure. To the Morningstar team, in Joysharon you have a gem, and I hope you keep hold of her.
One of my requests while booking was to have Alex Masila as our guide along with a reliable vehicle. Looking back, that was the best decision we made. On an African safari, your guide makes or breaks the experience, and Alex made ours unforgettable. Traveling with two toddlers and two senior citizens, we needed someone understanding and accommodating, and Alex was exactly that and more.
Our journey took us to Lake Naivasha for a day, Lake Nakuru National Park for another, and then three days in the Masai Mara. We spent one day in the Mara Triangle and two days in the Greater Mara. Each of these safaris was unique in what it offered, and the variety of experiences has only left us wanting to return to Africa again.
From the very first day, it was clear that Alex doesn’t just guide safaris; he lives and breathes wildlife. A father of three himself, I could imagine what an inspiring mentor he must be at home, passing down his passion and knowledge to the next generation. His depth of understanding was extraordinary. From animal behavior and anatomy to birdlife, landscapes, and even the subtle differences between regions, Alex brought every sighting to life. With him, it was never just about spotting animals, it was about truly seeing and understanding them.
Over five days, Alex’s network and rapport with other guides ensured we never missed a moment. Even at busy sightings with many vehicles, he had an uncanny ability to position us perfectly, often in the best and closest spot. That personal touch transformed each encounter into something special.
In hindsight, choosing Morningstar was absolutely the right call. It was not only because of their responsiveness but because of the people behind it. Joysharon and Alex made the wilderness feel like home, and for that, we will always be grateful.
