Kilipath is a tour operator with terrible organization and logistics
1/5

I had a "4-Day Majestic Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti" trip. I really enjoyed the safari, but it was the driver's doing.

From Kilipath my manager was Prisca and organization was awful.

I would say a lot of things went wrong after sending the prepayment:
1. They didn't send me information about the trip details until the night before the trip. The manager wanted to meet me, but I wasn't in Arusha that time. Then I needed to push her to say me the time of departure. And I received it only at 21:30. And it supposed to be 7:00. It's first when I got stressed.
2. Also that time they said that my tour company was changed to another company as they don't have place in the car (or something like this). That time I started to fell it's a scam.
In reality it was the third company, different one from they mentioned.
3. Next morning I was ready at 7:00, but there wasn't a car. I asked Prisca and she didn't give me anything specific. Only "let me call the driver". And 20 mins later "He is nearly". But in reality driver came at 8:00 and I was the first in the car (so the delay wasn't on other guys in the trip). It was really stressful.
4. The first night when we came to the camp it turned out there is no room for me. First they asked to wait until they finish cleaning the room. But then some other tourist came (from different car) and I was told there is no room in the hotel. They changed my hotel and I had to drive back and forth for dinner and breakfast. And it's all after the day-trip when you are exhausted. A lot of frustration.
5. They mixed our group. In different ways. First - they put in one car tourists with different accommodations. So the second night we were driving through 3 different camps and the same on the third morning (I was the last and the first in dropping and picking up). I saw others' cars - a lot of them were staying just in one camp.
6. Another way they mixed groups - one guy had 3-days tour. And he didn't have that experience that we had on the first day. So he was slowing our group as he needed more time for watching zebras, etc.
Also with us was a guy with a 5-days tour, but he didn't affect my experience.

So only the third night was good - all in one camp, no delays and other disappointments.

It was my real experience with the Kilipath and how things can be. Of course I complained, they sent a lot of sorryS, but it couldn't change my experience at all. And of course they have explanation to every my complain.

Thanks for giving us a wonderful experience!
5/5

It’s a perfect choice for the gorilla trekking.
Finding gorillas while trekking in the jungle was such a wonderful and thrilled experience for sure. We also could explore Uganda to the max on the side of the trekking. It’s definitely an amazing country that has lots to offer.
Our guide Henry was very professional, warm hearted, fun, and he took care of us and solve problems at all times through the tour.
I would never reget to have Moroka expedition as my travel agency, and will come back to Uganda with Moroka Expedition!

We had a wonderful experience with Ruru Holidays! From the very beginning, Lucy was excellent—her communication was clear and timely, and she made sure every detail of our trip matched our expectations. She really went the extra mile to ensure everything was well organized.

Our driver, James, was absolutely fantastic. He has a true talent for spotting wildlife and took us to less crowded areas where we were able to enjoy amazing, up-close views of lions and many other animals. His knowledge, patience, and ability to position us perfectly for the best sightings made the experience unforgettable. James went above and beyond to make sure we had the best safari possible.

Overall, Ruru Holidays gave us an incredible trip, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless and memorable safari experience!

Mtila Safari is 100% Tanzanian-owned and offers professional tours with expert local guides.
5/5

We joined the 3-day, 2-night tour to Nyerere National Park with Mtila Safari – everything was just as described. The tour was well-organized, professional, and always on time. Our guide, Ibrahim, had many years of safari experience and we learned a lot from him about the wildlife. A real highlight was the early morning walking safari. We also had plenty of time for taking photos and observing animals.

Our four-day safari in Mikume with Asante Bibi Tours was a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, Daude catered to our needs and even accommodated last-minute changes.
We get a carefree package, from being picked up in Daressalaam, to checking in on the train by the boss himself, to the safari and the evening entertainment.Everything was organized perfectly, courteously, and extremely flexibly, making you feel like a VIP. The safari and the visit to the Masai village were magical. Highly recommended. Thank you! Asante!

Great experience!!

The three-day, two-night safari tour was quite hard, but it was a great experience.
The three-day, two-night safari tour was quite hard, but it was a great experience.
First of all, the scenery was amazing. And it was so much fun to see the animals living freely and naturally up close. The same driver, Ben, drove the whole time, from the city center to the middle of the safari. He was very considerate of the participants, so we were able to leave him in his care with peace of mind. During the safari, he worked closely with the other crew members to transport us to the animals, allowing us to see many rare animals. When another vehicle had trouble along the way, Ben stepped in to help, and he was very reliable!

Great value, professional and unforgettable! Mr. Charles and Emanuel made our safari amazing!
5/5

We recently returned from a 9-day safari in Tanzania with Crater Explorer’s, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Before booking, we went through a number of different offers—many of them more expensive—but, after reading good reviews, we decided to take a chance on Crater Explorer’s, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.

The company was professional, reliable, and well-organized from start to finish. Our guide, Mr. Charles, was simply outstanding. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture brought every moment of the safari to life. He always knew the best spots for viewing animals and had an incredible ability to spot wildlife we would have otherwise missed. Beyond his expertise, he was warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about making our journey special. He really loves what he does!

We visited breathtaking parks and reserves, witnessed the Big Five up close, and enjoyed comfortable accommodations along the way. Every day felt like a new adventure, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.

What began as a leap of faith became the journey of a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend them—and especially Mr. Charles—to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Amazing!
5/5

The three days we spent in the Marai Mara were truly amazing. It was my first time on a safari, but I was able to see giraffes, lions, leopards, and cheetahs up close. I was deeply moved by the beauty and majesty of the wild animals. I will never forget the sunsets, the sounds of the animals, and the murmuring of the river that I saw and heard in the Masai Mara. It's definitely one of the places I want to visit again. And Ben was the best driver and safari guide. Not only was he kind and energetic, but he also had a wealth of knowledge about wildlife and taught us how to enjoy the safari. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him.
