Once in a lifetime safari!
My wife and I took this safari in Nov 2024, and it was one of the most exciting and engaging experiences of our lives. Everything from the initial meeting to the safari itself and the lodging was meticulously planned and went flawlessly. We saw lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, leopards, zebras, gazelles, and so many other animals. Our guide was very knowledgeable, easy to speak to, and taught us a lot. He was open to planning the safari game drives however we wanted, whether it was starting earlier or later, lunch breaks, areas of the park to visit, and animals we wanted to track. I would absolutely recommend this safari!

Don't look any further, you have found the best ...
After browsing sites like safaribookings.com, we found a program from African Pangolin Safaris that appealed to us, well-filled with what we wanted to see, and affordable within our budget. At our request, Mansoor further customized the program with an extra safari day in each of the three National Parks: Mikumi, Ruaha, and Nyerere (Selous). He also arranged a hotel stay in the city upon our late-evening arrival and an extra day in a beach hotel before our return flight, as well as all transfers. Furthermore, due to an announced strike at Amsterdam Airport, we arrived in Dar es Salaam a day early, so we left for Mikumi a day early for an extra day of safari. Mansoor arranged everything. Mansoor, who also accompanied us throughout the tour, and Ismael, who arranged the transfers to and from the airport, are friendly, polite, attentive, punctual, and careful drivers. We always felt safe, both in the hustle and bustle of the city and on the busy main road and unpaved dirt roads. The program was well-structured. The distances are what they are, but were kept short by overnight stays in interesting places like Iringa and MoroGoro. Thanks to Mansoor, we also visited places you wouldn't normally visit as a tourist: in a restaurant in town, in a village for lunch, or buying bananas or water at a roadside stand. Free drinking water was plentiful in the cooler in the vehicle, which had a pop-up roof for the game drives in the parks. Except for the dinners in Iringa and MoroGoro, all meals were included. There was plenty of choice, usually soup, chicken, beef, fish, pasta, potatoes, rice, and melon, pineapple, or cake for dessert. Lunches were sometimes packed, sometimes in restaurants. It's definitely worth visiting all three parks in the Southern Circuit, as each is completely different. What particularly appealed to us after visiting the northern parks 24 years ago was that the southern parks are much less crowded. The guides almost all know each other and exchange information about what they've seen when they cross paths, but even without that, Mansoor amazed us with sightings we would never have been able to make on our own. We saw a huge number of animals of various species, certainly thanks to Mansoor's more than 15 years of experience as a guide. He knows every path in the parks like the back of his hand and knows where the animals like to be at certain times. We opted for basic to mid-range accommodation and were very pleased to be able to stay close to, or even in the midst of, nature in many places. We feel like we've made a new friend in Mansoor and expect to return to Tanzania in the relatively short term to explore the even more unknown parks in the western circuit. Returning to Tanzania for a next safari, will definitely be again with Mansoor and African Pangolin Safaris.

An experience to remember!
Our family and I had an incredible safari experience with Kilitime Adventures. Our guide, Stewart Shuma, was very experienced and funny. He made the trip fun for the kids too. Every day we saw something new–elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras–in a word, wonderful!
The food, the accommodation, the transportation–everything was very comfortable and safe. Bakari was with us one day of the trip, and he was also very caring. We felt at home the whole trip. We all want to go on a trip with Kilitime Adventures again–thank you very much!

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Sabrahm Safaris
On September 21, my husband, a former colleague, her sister, and I embarked on a breathtaking safari to the Ngorongoro Crater with Sabrahm Safaris. it was truly unforgettable.
From the moment we were picked up, our guide Mody and Sabrahm staff member Alex impressed us with their professionalism, patience, and deep knowledge of the region and its wildlife. Thanks to their expertise, we were fortunate to see nearly all the iconic animals in the crater, making the experience both thrilling and educational.
Our travel companions were incredibly kind and pleasant, making the journey even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better match of personalities and energy.
Sabrahm Safaris excelled in every aspect from customer service and trip planning to the execution of the safari itself. The meals provided were diverse, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, adding a wonderful culinary touch to the adventure.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sabrahm Safaris to anyone seeking a well-organized, enriching, and memorable safari experience. They truly go above and beyond.

Budget price but 5-star service
With the help of Citrus, I had a truly perfect 26th birthday! 🎉
I met the best travel companions in the world, and the eight of us shared an incredibly happy experience in Masai Mara.
A huge thank-you to our amazing guide Patrick in Masai Mara — he was patient, kind, and always gave us enough time to observe the animals. He somehow always found the best viewing spots, and he truly respects and protects the wildlife as much as he respects us.
Also, thank you to Martin, our guide in Amboseli, who made the trip so much fun! I’ll never forget the surprise birthday cake you arranged for me — it was such a sweet and touching moment.
When I had an issue with my room, one quick call to Citrus solved everything immediately.
Thank you to everyone who made my childhood dream come true. 💛

Unforgettable Safari & Zanzibar Trip with Serengeti Smile – Huge Thanks to Pius & Jonyo!
Our experience with Serengeti Smile was absolutely flawless from start to finish—and we have Jonyo and Pius to thank for making it the trip of a lifetime!
Jonyo handled our booking and crafted the perfect itinerary, tailored exactly to what we wanted. From the very first communication, he was responsive, helpful, and professional. He even went the extra mile to organize a beautiful surprise birthday celebration for my partner during the trip—an incredibly thoughtful and memorable touch that meant so much to us.
Our safari through Tanzania was beyond anything we imagined. With Pius as our guide, we were in the best hands possible. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and landscapes, combined with his sharp eye (we still don’t know how he spotted some of those animals!), gave us front-row seats to some truly magical moments. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and so much more.
A major highlight of the trip was the hot air balloon safari—floating silently over the Serengeti at sunrise was nothing short of magical. Watching wildlife from above, with the golden morning light stretching across the savannah, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll never forget.
After the safari, Serengeti Smile had also arranged a 4-day escape to Zanzibar—the perfect way to relax after the adventure. The beach, the water, the food, the vibe—everything was spot-on, and again, the logistics were seamless.
We can’t recommend Serengeti Smile highly enough. If you’re looking for a truly personal, professional, and unforgettable Tanzania experience, this is the company to go with. And if you get Jonyo to plan it and Pius to guide it—you’re in for something truly special.
Asante sana, Jonyo and Pius—you created memories we will treasure.
